Ron's Gone Wrong - Ron Fights Rich Belcher - Storyboard Animatic

A sequence from the Disney Feature Ron's Gone Wrong.
This storyboard was drawn early in the production of the film. In this version of the script Barney stumbles across Rick Belcher and his buddies in the park but there is a more sinister undertone to the scene. Rich was a straight up bully here with no reprieve but in the final movie all the children become friends with Barney (kind of!). The beat with the underpants projection never made it to the final nor did Rich trying to use his bot to threaten Barney which never really made sense to me even whilst drawing the scene.

I actually enjoyed Ron's gone wrong when I saw it on Disney plus, sadly it got overshadow by other films during October 2021. Praying for the next batch of Locksmith's pictures to come out great under Netflix and especially Warner brothers.
