- KTM, led by its parent company Pierer Mobility, recently announced the start of a self-administration period scheduled to begin on 29 November 2024. This announcement comes at a time of significant financial difficulties for KTM, with unsecured debts amounting to 2.3 billion euros, an amount below the value of the company's assets. Despite these challenges, KTM has assured its customers that it will continue to provide motorcycles, parts and accessories without interruption while maintaining the level of customer service.
During the 90-day restructuring period, KTM intends to manage its assets independently and under supervision, aiming at long-term stabilization of the group. Stefan Pierer, CEO of KTM, expressed a strong personal commitment to the company, describing it as "the work of my life" and confirmed his commitment to continue producing new models such as the Enduro R 125 and 390 and the Adventure 390, Expected for the first quarter of 2025.
Despite the turbulence, no significant changes have been announced for other brands under the KTM AG's hat, such as Husqvarna and GASGAS, suggesting that operations for these brands will continue normally. This stability is essential for dealers and owners of these brands, ensuring continuity of support and availability of spare parts. Furthermore, KTM stresses that sports competitions and racing will remain a key component of their strategy, despite the recent disappearance of Husqvarna's Factory Racing teams and GASGAS in high-level competitions.

I believe that KTM will be soon back on their feet, stronger and more experienced.
Now is actually the best time to get a new KTM in a good deal.
I put my money on what you think. $5.5k off a 2024 500excf.
Would you rate KTM stock a buy?
@@onefishfrank9145 well it can only go up 😀, so yes
Wouldn’t buy one before they went bust so definitely wouldn’t buy one now
No way my hard earned money would go to this failing company.
No worries. We'll just buy Hondas again.
And Kawasaki
@@ronfeast932 Absolutely.
Japanese all the way.
I have 3 red motorcycles, guess what brand? Long maintenance intervals. Runs for decades. Crf300l, MSX 125, CT 70.😊😊😊
Just picked up a CRF250RWE. Grew up on Japanese dirt bikes, no KTM’s for me
Nothing will happen to customers, I own also two KTMs , no worries 🤜🏻🤛🏻
AI is funny
Too expensive over time, too much marketing garbage, putting its customers as beta testers and buying other useless companies like husky and gas gas to have two other colors and minimal total changes to the lines and here we are.
100% I dont believe the failed cam shafts would have batch fail been tested they knew this is why they refused to take ownership, putting buyers out of pocket until they ktm were caught up with .
Do you know when and why they bought Husqvarna you absolute clown???
Fix the Quick shift problems on the husky fe350 we payed enough bloody money, NEW BIKE and dealer sat JUST SHORT SHIFT IT , LIKE FUCK OFF THE BIKE COST ME $20'000
IVE BEEN FUCKING ROBED!
Sweet A I female bot! Used to race "real" Husky's!
Some conglomerate will toss KTM a lifeline and pull them ashore.
A the 300 2 stroke KTMs and Huskys I have owned since 1991 have been great bikes.
I bought my first ktm, a '24 300 xcw , and a very nice bike with some unique engineering. Theres also some very stupid engineering which leaves me scratching my head . At the premium cost i paid of $11,500 im ultimately "underwhelmed" as compared to owning a Japanese equivalent.
i believe ktm makes a quality product... however the r&d of the company must be an insane deficit. the xbow... cool but will people buy.... the street bikes ended up being a flop due to rumors of the engines going out far too soon.... i wanted the 24 fc 450fe rockstar edition so badly and now the price is down time to buy but will i..prety sure anyone who knows this wont buy another ktm.jand with 2.3 billion in debt.... not much left to speculation... now triumph and ducati releasing bikes? someone saw this comming.... this is starting to look like a big scam where someone was stuffing their pockets the last 3 years knowing it was gonna tank.... hide the money as a los and file bankrupcy.... looks like they took a play from maico's handbook...
KTM = keep taking money ( people’s)
is this ai lmaoooo
Huge mistake to own the 3 brands and making them 90 plus percent the same!
IGNORANT!
Bye bye
they buy suzuki
