Funniest thing ever happened today in my Spanish class, so our Spanish teacher wanted us to give her our best Grito/ yell I think it’s called. So for like 5 seconds some of us stared to basically yell but no joke more then half the class stopped and looked each other in the eyes (I was part of this elite group). And all at the same time not even kidding or joking we all yelled.... SHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEW!

Strawberry cheese danish and black coffee is ALWAYS our opening morning of deer season breakfast.
It’s funny because some of my most memorable turkey hunts are when we don’t know the roost and you hear a gobbler stalk him then call him in. Definitely don’t need to know the roost .
I thought the same thing, I shot one yesterday and have no idea where he came from. 😂
You don’t need to know where the bird is roosting but it sure makes it a bit easier to kill one in my experience. But either way a day out hunting and getting nothing is still better than being at work hahaha.

Tip for ya flair I’m not sure but I believe you set up at one tree. I know that with 400 acres you can run and gun it. But for shotgun. Try walking calling until you hear some turkeys or hear them. Then sit down and call them in. I know if compound bow hunting you need a blind but just a bit of advice!!😁

If you're having a problem with ticks, Permethrin is the key to keeping them away. They sell it at the farm stores. You either buy stuff premixed or buy the straight stuff and dilute it with water then throw it in a spray bottle and spray it on your clothes. Stay safe out there.
