When you are brush hogging make sure to keep your rpm’s up, use your gears to control your speed. Also make sure to grease the pto, for your tires they make low psi pressure gauges that you will need, your normal one won’t go low enough.

tip: always,always let the hydraulics all the way down when you turn tractor off. it can mess them up if you leave the bucket up for a long time

He should've bought older equipment like an IH 856 diesel and a smaller, older brush hog... but it's his money, and he get his money's worth though!

Let all the fields over grow and just cut trails down through the tall tall grass and undergrowth saplings to and from the feeders and cut around the feeders but let everything else over grow so the deer feel safe coming and going from feeders to feeders also letting everything overgrow you'll make many and much better bedding aeras on the property
For John Deere the E is the economy base one , M is mid grade, and R is the high end one. The r ones have radio standard.

It’s a cooling shirt, like the under armor shirts. They are a million times better than having a short sleeve or even no shirt
And before you say anything, I live in North Carolina and have used them in this heat and humidity for 20 years and they are so much better than short sleeves
It's like 97% polyester and 7% spandex. Super light material, breathable, prevents the skin from getting burnt(cancer), and it has a hood to protect your neck.
You can get a Trackhoe, and buy a mower/mulcher attachment for it, to trim back trees, cut brush, mow close to the pond, etc...

Tractor tips; it probably will get stuck if the ground is even a little soppy and needs weight in the back to get rear traction. It also drives smoother if you use the clutch like a car instead of just using the lever on the steering column

I use the feed through fly supplement with our horses and it cut the flies down by about 95%

If you store the tractor over winter, definitely raise the hood and check for birds nest or mice nest before running. A simple check and cleaning could prevent a fire. I work at a tractor dealership and seen it to many times.
