      You're welcome and thanks! The II',s are very nice. The difficulty in finding complete breakdown videos on TH-cam is the reason I started this channel. Glad you found it useful. Be sure to subscribe, if you haven't already done so, and spread the word. Thanks again.

    Great video! How did you clean the main bearings? I have seen conflicting reports whether they should be oiled or greased when installed back in.

    • @TSGReelService
      @TSGReelService  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks for watching! There are many opinions. I'll 'usually grease the outside bearings (left side and pinion) with a pump and oil the inside bearings (spool).
      You can check my video library for one way to clean your stainless steel bearings, or do a search on TH-cam for "tsg reel bearing"

      @@TSGReelService I have a bearing on my 50tw that is "grinding" a little and want to replace. It's not the ones on the spool but the one near the handle. Are all the bearings in this reel the same size? Do you have a suggestion on where to get one?

    • @TSGReelService
      @TSGReelService  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@jld2008 you should definitely change it. www.mysticparts.com/PennParts/Parts/55-50.aspx

    710z the bail spring is strong, but the little dog post? doesn't kick the plate out enough to fully release the bail. Any ideas?

    • @TSGReelService
      @TSGReelService  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks for watching! Instead of that trip post being the issue, it's more likely your bail wire is bent or trip arm inside the rotor cup has corrosion around it, or possibly bent. Start with your bail wire by undoing one side... if it sits too close or too far away from the rotor, you need to reshape it or buy a new one.
