Sorry to be offtopic but does anybody know of a method to log back into an Instagram account..? I stupidly lost the account password. I love any tips you can offer me.
@Briar Immanuel I really appreciate your reply. I got to the site through google and I'm waiting for the hacking stuff now. Looks like it's gonna take quite some time so I will get back to you later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
I’m from Ct. - while visiting my sister in Florida we stopped by Jim s place and I met Jim and Pat in person . Pat has a the prettiest blue eyes and smile to match. Always like your videos Pete.
Such a chill and productive inspiration that Jim. The 2500 seedlings guy works quickly to get the garden looking that good in such a short time. Thanks for taking us along to visit Pete.
I love these videos with Jim. What an inspiration and what a way to lead by example. Everyone needs to be growing some vegetables! Thank you Pete and Jim, very much appreciate you guys sharing your knowledge 🙏
Such an inspiration, was great to see his mom...owning an older home in Florida and learning to garden in it is a blast, especially when from the North(Iowa)...I get excited for sunrise to start all over again POUNDING DIRT...!
It's an absolute pleasure to watch your productive Garden! I tried to grow papaya in my tiny backyard, but was not successful because, Melbourne Australia is cold! Did you know that Papaya leaves and flowers are edible? They are bitter, but you can boil them first and throw away the bitter water and stir fry in garlic and ginger, fish sauce, add some chicken stock, it's delicious and very healthy
I blessed the Lord that this vid doesn't go by without me seeing the notification pop-up. I'm glad I get to see Jim's mama smashed the lense with smile. Don't worry mama that's how we do it here @GreenDreams
YAY!! More Jim! can't get enough wisdom from this guy. I'm starting up my gardens in earnest this year and hope to put some of this info to good use. (spring hill, fl.)
Thanks, Pete and Jim! I'm in So. central FL and I'm totally inspired by each visit. I received the gift of a hundred feet of electric fence netting to surround my raised beds. There's every kind of critter here, and they're all hungry,! Hope it'll will help!
Seriously LOVE watching this guy talk. I could listen to him all day. Keep his updates coming. Its super enjoyable! 💗 His garden is amazing, he is a wealth of information, often a tipping point, stirring me to research.
Chicago boy here. No land or growing for me. Pete, thank you so much for what you let me view been with you for a few years. I have a daughter in Brooksville, which brings me a bit into your world.
Thanks for sharing this Beautiful informative videos Mr.pete. Mr.Jim is very inspirational and he is really great. It is so pleasent and interesting to see Mr.Jim's Frent yard.
Following! South Alabamian trying to learn about gardening and following your sub-tropic and tropic gardening videos is enlightening me beyone belief! Thank u! I appreciate what y'all are doing!
Keep reminding us of the course at the end of the video Pete, when my toddler gets a little older and I have some more flexible cash flow coming through I would love to take that and be able to have some interactive education. So sorry your in person stuff got canceled in the Fall
I was born in New Port Richey but we moved away with I was 5. I want to go to visit with my family someday. I would like to look up Jim. I love seeing where Im from.
I loaded up buckets and bins with the free mulch from the county. I packed it in my Tahoe. Started sifting last evening. Black gold....that soil is a dream. Yeah, I'm a little obsessed with composting.
My greens are still going good for March I'm in Pinellas County so the heat is coming gonna harvest and freeze some before then.Looks great Jim and thanks Pete for update video.
Hi Pete, I love your visits to Jim's place. Just want to mention that you pan so fast that I have to look away or it triggers my vertigo! Slow down, dude! I'm learning a lot from your videos. Thanks.
Please tell Jim about Peel Stop Primer at Home Depot. Two coats will completely cover lead paint. Then put two coats of Kilz Primer if you are changing from dark to light colors. Lastly, do two coats of Behr paint. I did this to my 70 year old house, paint has not faded or peeled.
You might try Thai Pink Egg or Egg from Picket Tomato.....not the best, but makes a great cooking tomato (Thai and Lao people love them as they are great for Papaya Salad). They are also pretty good in hot weather amd resist splitting pretty well.
hey guys good video on everything would be great if we can get some dates and months when this stuff is being growing or harvesting it never says what time of the year you guys are doing the stuff. I'm in Southwest Florida on the Gulf Coast
Jim might like to try 'nctomatoman' for tomato seed. He breeds his own seed, lots of new dwarf varieties. Very generous guy. Suspect Jim would be able to put them next to the house and not crowd the sunflowers. It was lovely to meet Jim's mum ❤️
What a charm Jim's mom is...and I agree w/ Jim--as I'm a huge fan of Nasturtiums...great flavor & they come back up every yr ! Just best enjoyed only in moderation...It might perform better in the summer in Maine that the summer heat of FLA, but wonder if Jim has ever tried the tasty "Rungia Klossii" or "Mushroom Plant" ? The leaves taste just like mushrooms :)
He mentioned once the micro block mix was different. But i have never been able to find a different mix recipe... any help on that front ?? :) Also super excited my blockers came in the mail this week! And all my seeds i have recieved or are in the mail. I need to prep beds still but that will be done by the end of march, which is super early up here. Wondering how he is doing with this cold snap the country is in this year also!? And jim and his rebar gave me the idea to bend 20 ft rebar into a hoop for trellising that will span 3 rows (30in rows, 18 in paths) with the ends being in rows with a row between so i can have shade to grow lettuce and such in super hot summers. I think i will put concrete wire along the sides to make the supports.
The mini block mix is in Eliot Coleman's "The New Organic Grower" pg. 137; 16 parts peat,1/2 part colloidial phosphate, 1/2 part green sand, 4parts compost(well decomposed)
@@jkovie thank you so much!!! Im off to collect my final ingredients today. Surprisingly colloidal phosphate is the hardest to find, im ending up settling for rock phosphate, hoping its the same with just different common names. Im very excited to start this journey! Thank you so much for your wisdom and encouragement Jim!!! We are blessed by you. 🥰🥰
After 25 years this will probably be my last year doing snow removal in SE Wisconsin. Not sure what I could do in Florida for 4-5 months. Looks like Jim has found the balance but growing produce is no simple endeavor.
Wow living my dream. My citrus got too much salt burn from the sand storms twice last year so died off. All that stuff out the front would be stolen here lol No winds! We have constant strong westerlies here.

Always a pleasure with ole Jimmy bob!! And of course the Man and legend Petey bird!!! Alohaaaaaa
Love ❤️ this guy! Can’t get enough of his content!!
Haha, he said this little trellis thing... I thought it was just that one then you move and reveal it's the entire alley! Wow go Jim!
I looked up Mark Fulford, Maine but didn't find anything about rebar trellis. Could Jim us more details?
If my HOA would allow me to, my front yard would look like this too. Great video of the grass fed guru.
Thanks Pete. I always love the updates of Jim's gardens. Inspirational!

True that! 👊
I just built a manual sifter after seeing this video. That soil is the bomb!!

I'm coming to visit you, from Orlando.

wow , nice.
I was just wondering how his garden was growing the other day
Did I spy a Wyeth print when you and Jim stepped inside? If so,you know he's appreciative of Maine as I am. And I've been a lifer.

Jim- how did you bend the rebar for the peas?
Jim rocks!
Great video! What type of compost does he keep referring to that he uses? Thanks for all you do for us newbies.
New Port Richie compost...guess made by the town..
@@Mrsboncouer Thank you have a great day!
Good stuff
