Thank you Elley! I can not WAIT to come out west to visit Cerro Gordo and do a bit of rockhounding with my active, 79 year old mom. She and her parents used to do a lot of rockhounding, and I even have a piece of Dry-head agate my grandparents collected decades ago.
Love all the thunder eggs and the agates and calcite and the thunder egg nest. Watch out for the Thunderbird it might get you. As always love them when they're cut. Glad your back home. Keep the goodness coming. Saw another episode on tv. Humm humm humm ... if they only had a brain. Be happy, safe and stay healthy 😷⚒🌲
Looked like fun. I haven't dug Thunder Eggs for years. Awesome adventure. I am going to Lavic Siding outside of Barstow in a few weeks and Vlog my adventure. Good times!
Omg! I have been a fan of yours for the past year and almost fell over seeing your picture in the lapidary shop in my new town! Mind blown#Elleyknowsrocks!!
I have a question elley I have recently found a couple places where the garnets are so thick the ground is bright red there is literally more garnet them sand also have found 3 sizeable green garnets in the same location. It's this a normal occurrence?
Would you be willing to share your location for the garnets I have found some closer to crown king but not green I would love to find some next time I’m out there
I don't know but I was out there today and searching to the lake's West off of Castle Hot Springs road. I found some chalcedony and white agate but not a lot.
Please let me know when you guys go again. I love to learn but most folks are nasty to you of you ask and are trying to learn. It really has deterred me. I still love finding things when out but I had so much passion for it being new and I am good at finding beautiful stuff and I share. Anyway love the passion guys.
You have such a happy, joyful reactions and interactions with people so genuinely a wonderful person. God bless you.
Awesome, yes.
