    As one of those who asked for a comparison between this N60 and the F9, thank you. I had a feeling that they would trade blows, but had no idea how neck-and-neck they are performance-wise!
    I'm personally using the N60's on my Kia Soul H13 reflectors, and tried really hard to aim them as low as they could go, and sadly where I live essentially requires you to be a literal goat living on steep hills. Every once in a while, I do get flashed by a driver across me on a stoplight intersection, though only if said driver is stopped at a lower incline than me if that makes sense. I have no foglights and am not stupid to run high beams on a busy intersection, so it does make me feel bad. Adding foglights to my 2nd gen Soul Basic trim will be my next little project.
    All that being said, I am chasing for the brightest LEDs for reflectors, and while not by much, it does look like the F9's take the crown for my needs, but the higher wattage draw compared to the N60's does put me on the fence. I'll definitely keep an eye on your channel, for sure.
    Thanks again!

      The F9 pulling 80W will not cause any issue with the cars electrical system, as stock halogen run up to 65W, so the wire gauge is thick enough. You can send me a direct message on Facebook

    For any enduro riders watching, yes a 35w socket can take a 66w (actual draw) LED. At least in both of the cases I tested, a 2020 Fantic Casa 250 and 2022 WR450F.
    Edit: I love this bulb. Pretty clean pattern and cut off line for an LED and the high beam is like a spotlight. It's so bright you can see it during the day.

    Thanks for the review on another very impressively bright LED light. Though it’s the brightest of all, as a projector headlight vehicle owner the typical weak spot is just too weak for me for the immediate front area of the vehicle. What I'm gathering is, no LED would be good for a dual Lo/Hi projector? That common "weak spot" would be the same on the top of the cut off line when in high beam mode. I have DDM Tuning Acc/V2 55w, which is a good set for normal driving but the moment I use the high beam, you can barely see the difference. When I have HID in the projector, you can tell when I have high beams on. :(

      Thanks for the N70 heads-up, bro! I contacted Novsight, and the representative mentioned they don't have an ETA for US sales yet. I was tempted to grab the N60s on sale, but I'll hold off. The N70 specs are impressive at 240W, 50K lumens per pair, and 6500K. Currently using Luxster Punishers H11 6000K, which are fantastic! However, I'm cautious about the 6500K in the N60s and N70s since 6000K seems to offer more usable light to my eyes. I've heard Luxster is releasing a new bulb soon too. By the way, I was initially skeptical about LEDs, but after upgrading my GTR H11 HID 35W Kit to Luxster LEDs, there's no turning back.👍🏻

    • @CarLightReviews
      @CarLightReviews  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks, glad you liked this video and you subscribed. I really appreciate it. Typically, there are no major issues when using LED headlghts.
      Most factory wires feeding headlights are 16 gauge. A 16 gauge wire is capable of up to 13amps. Amps = watts+volts.
      So, even if your battery is almost dead (8-10 volts) you won't be pulling more than 8ish amps.
      I would personally still double check that your headlight fuses are rated for that amperage. If you only have one fuse for both headlights, make sure it's at least a 15 and that the wires connected to the headlights, correspond correctly in size for that amperage.
      Your only real concern, is the bulb itself shorting out. Which would likely be due to an overheating condition or, a very wet condition, leading to the internal components frying, thus causing a short.
      Just don't wire both of these lights to a single side. Keep them separate on driver/passenger like the OEM intended.

    Hi! I really like your videos. Because of you I ordered the N60 for my MB W211 (shipping from US to Germany). In GER we barely have high quality aftermarket LED distributors. I have one question regarding the location of the ballast. I am not sure if this will also fit into the headlight housing. If it would fit, is it a good idea to do so because of the heat or should I place it outside of the headlight? If placed outside, how can I re-seal the headlight after cutting through the dust-cap e.g. Do you guys have a good solution?

    • @CarLightReviews
      @CarLightReviews  ปีที่แล้ว

      Typically, IF there is space, the driver is tucked into the headlight assembly, between where the LED light mounts and the outer shell where the dust cap mounts. Every vehicle is different with different headlight assembly designs. Not to mention, drivers are often different per LED headlight upgrade as well. I always suggest that you consult your favorite social media group or message board specific to your vehicle to see if there is advice that can be offered.

    • @chantakzee
      @chantakzee ปีที่แล้ว

      From my experience in a W202, the dust cap doesn't fill back because the fan is just in the way. Besides, if you cover it up you might restrict the air flow for the fan and eventually cook the LED as well.

    Good information. But I have no idea how well this would work, or not with an older car like my 06 Tahoe which takes 9005 (high) and 9006 (low) bulbs, let alone the reflector style of an older vehicle or the high power demand on the vehicle's wiring. I have new light enclosures so not yellowing or fogging (TYC CAPA). Any further information would be helpful. Or is is best to go with a high end (more expensive) Philips NightGuide Platinum halogen as a compromise vs the $5 OEM long life bulbs? My light output currently sucks, that's why I'm looking around. ALSO, I hear negative things about fan noise from LED lights; I'm very sensitive to extra noises. And last but not least, do these lights use PWM (pulse width modulation)? That's a deal breaker for me. PWM is very painful for me on anything LED light based. I had some LED lights on my riding mower that really killed my eyes and head when mowing after dark. I then found brighter LED lights (AuxBeam) that are brighter and do not use PWM and cause me no pain at all. Thanks!

    I’d be worried about the heat of the bulb and heat the driver put off vs the Hikari brand, not to mention the added wattage it’s pulling on the factory wiring harness. I wouldn’t be surprised if some cars experience issues with wiring down the road with these higher wattage lights. I was debating the F9 Diamond if my Hikari don’t get too hot and last through my trip later this year but I’ll have to see what other bright lights come out by then, especially since it’ll be around November when I get back, but I’m driving 4,000 miles so it’ll be a test for them for sure. Love all the detail you do on your reviews and am looking forward to seeing future videos. Hopefully you have more soon. Thanks for your work and time/ effort you put into these reviews and making sure it’s always done under the same conditions the other tests were and letting the data help us determine what we want to buy along with your review etc.

      Hello, I have been using the F9 in my 2005 Camry and 2009 Altima since August 2022 without any issue of overheating or with the wiring harness or connector. The Factory halogens max at 65W, and the F9 pulls about 80W, so the wire gauge is able to work with the F9.
