      Ok so i wanted to add one more thing to this review that in comparison to n60 the fan speed is very less. I hope that is something novsight should take notice of in their new models as the better fan speed the cooler the light will be and hence better light performance. N70 already has smaller heat sink as compared to n60. Now a slower fan combined with this small heat sink is something to worry about for me as we all know it will definitely affect the light performance in the longer run.

    • @haseebakbar914

      Due to the length increase of n70 in comparison to the n60 the light scatters in reflector headlights alot. N60 performs better than n70 as n60 has better placement of led (closer to stock halogen filament) specifically in reflector headlights.

    I got some basic Auxitos for low beam, and Auto 1's for high beam, and Auxitos again in yellow for fogs in a 21' Ford EcoSport. All works perfectly fine. Shopping around as a hobby for automotive lights is too dizzying to keep doing imo. I gotan upgrade, so good enough for me. Incandescent bulbs in projectors are a crime lol. I really wish is PWM DRL functionality could be tested. Many LEDs I've tried on my Toyotas, only Xenon LED Pro had zero flickering in DRL mode.

    • @DiamondVisionLED
      @DiamondVisionLED หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      The issue is that DRL PWM uses 6 volts, and most new brighter LEDs headlights need at least 9v to work (12-14v normal). Some lower powered LEDs headlights (35-40W) may be able to work with 6v PWM.

    • @LionRunner
      @LionRunner หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@DiamondVisionLED I thought pre-2020 4Runners use parallel 12V PWM (each bulb getting 12v in pulse, the reason for LEDs to flicker) vs 2020+ use constant 12V with bulb in series where each bulb get constant 6V (no pulsing). I could be wrong.

    • @DiamondVisionLED
      @DiamondVisionLED หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      @@LionRunner That is possible, I'm not sure how the 4Runner is doing it's DRL. One of our vehicles is a 2005 Camry XLE and the high beams are also used as DRL. About 6 years ago I had a LED bulb made that was specifically able to work down to 6v and with a Canbus Decoder connected, there was no flickering. The Camry still uses that bulb is the High/DRL. One thing is that you really don't want a DRL bulb to have a fan, as it PWM can cause it to go bad, so it needs to be fanless.

  • @Supercharger86

    I'm looking for a LED-bulb which has a heatsink no larger than a halogen bulb - like at all.
    Why? I want to fit the highbeams of my 2007 Saab 9-5 with LEDs, but the hole in the housing is oval(!), meaning the bulb goes in, but can't be twisted to sit as it should with the chips side to side. Tested three different bulbs - on two the heatsink was too big to twist and on one that would probably fit, the fan assembly was too big to allow it to fit in the housing.

What I and other Saab-owners would love is - if it's not too much trouble and time-consuming, if you could measure the bulbs you've tested, or test in the future with a measuring caliper, the top part, and add it to your spreadsheet.
      I know Saab is a brand that went out of business 13 years ago, but there are quite a few of us left Saab-owners left, both enthusiasts and non-enthusiasts, and if you'd find it worth the trouble, I would definitely spread this information both to Saab groups in Sweden (for example, Saab turbo club of Sweden on Facebook alone has 46,9k members) as I've seen others ask this question, and find some international groups too that would find this information useful.
      That said, I understand if you won't do this with led-lighta already tested as your list of them is quite long.

    Guys any inputs? I have n60 novo sight from 18 months. My Chrysler Pacifica started acting weird from past 1 week where when the low beams comes on, it will start flickering bad and goes off and on or comes back with 30% light output only. If I kept my halogen lights back all are behaving good. There is no error on dash . Do i need decoder?

    Okay some of these lights are getting a little crazy with the light output. You probably need to get your eyes examined if you feel like you continually need a brigher and brighter headlight or your headlight housing needs replaced due to just being worn out. Pretty soon we'll be seeing aircraft landing headlights on vehicles... LOL

    • @DiamondVisionLED
      @DiamondVisionLED หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      The main issue (brick wall) is that bulbs that use a lot of wattage can only do that at start up and then has to lower down, as if it stayed at 120W+ the heat on the bulb would be too much, causing it not to last long. That is why most bulbs will level off under 100W or lower to keep the bulb temp down.

      @DiamondVisionLED i barely use high beams as I'm mostly in town, high beams are mostly for humbling the oncoming high beamers🤣, so i guess the initial output matters for me

    Thanks for the review. Wow, 120W/bulb to start when engine is cold and requires as much energy as possible to warm up to the optimal operating temperature while been drained 240W/pair on the alternator especially in winter time! That is a lot of stress on gas engine or even HEV, PHEV or EV vehicles. Very happy staying with 65W Hikari Titanova 2023 with 85% efficient with very little dark spot in projection headlight. Sorry to see it discontinued and the new 2025 without the driver is not as bright but uses less energy.

      @@andreknudsne7648 the 70w is the observed draw after 27 mins. Initial draw is published at 120w.
      Even so at 70w that’s 15w more than the original ones. That’s nearly 30% difference. I wouldn’t run bulbs that powerful knowing I could melt my wiring.
