▬ A NOTE ON USING LED LIGHTS AS HALOGEN BULB REPLACEMENTS ▬
Aim your headlights AT LEAST once a year and ALWAYS after replacing the bulbs.
If the cutoff is bad or you can’t aim them accurately or the light output scatters, it is NOT safe to use. Try a different style of LED or one with a lower output that will be more compatible with your light housing. See my other videos for more reviews.
When I use the word “headlights”, I am referring to legal off-road use or fog light use only as replacing factory halogen bulbs with LEDs for headlights in the US is not currently legal nor a DOT approved practice. This video is only for informational purposes for using LED lights legally. Check your local laws and regulations.

I don’t understand why some have a driver and some don’t. Which ones should someone buy?

@@rodgerbright3764 It has one, but it is internal rather than external. Basically, LED manufacturers design the lights to have the driver as external (more materials = more expensive) or internal ("all-in-one" design, and less materials = cheaper). The tradeoff is that heat reduces LED output and can potentially also reduce longevity. As a result, an internal driver LED headlight is typically not as bright and may not last as long due to the contained heat compared to one with an external driver.

Look at their lux. That's what you really need to know. He has a chart linked in his description

After watching this video I ordered the HZLB004L/9005 and HZLB005L/9006 LED units from the HZ Official site on ebay. The issue I found with the 9006 lights is the plastic adjustment ring becomes pliable with the heat of the LED unit and the light becomes loose and loses its adjustment. When I removed the LED, the adjustment ring stayed in the headlight housing. After it cooled down I was able to remove it with needle-nose pliars. I was unable to use the 9005 units because they would not fit inside the hole of the headlight unit. Neither of the above LED units have an external driver.

I truly cannot believe how this super cheap $25 a pair, performance extremely well. And its ultra bright but remains control.
It’s very hard to find new led from a reputable brand and not unbranded, and this is very rare to find the right type of led bulb.
This is extremely impressive.

I ordered H11 on Jun 17, 2024 for $25.64. They were delivered on Jun 21, 2024, yesterday. Just checked ebay (Jun 22, 2024) and the price is now $39.99. I was going to order H7, but it appears all their prices are now either $39.99 or $79.99. Glad I ordered right after watching your video last Sunday. Given that, what's the current best deal on H7 bulbs? Honestly not sure I really need whoop-dee-do high beams since I live in an urban area.

In a sea of leds can you recomend good D2R/D2S? I bought a pair last year for my reflectors and one of them just gave out.

Unfortunately, I can't suggest a recommendation for specific vehicles as I can't test them all, I am sorry to say. That's why I can offer a baseline reference. Try ordering a pair of the same light from the same link provided.. But got ripped.. They send me a pair that looks similar but did not even came with external drivers

I have watched all your videos and i notice 3 things you did say! and its not like you! So this have me thinking! i understand why (1) would be the fan is fully expose.

For the Accord H11 halogen projectors, the best bulb is the Philips H9. Not only is it the highest performing bulb (TESTED) of any halogen or LED, its also a bargain at only 20 bucks for a pair on amazon. Halogen optics require halogen bulbs to perform optimally.
Our Diamond Vision F9 LED bulb is extremely bright and works well in projectors. You can see the review of it on this channel.
So all of the bulbs you test seem to have huge amount of light output, I don’t think I want that much light output. I don’t want to be blinding people on the road and I’m driving a GX 470 which is pretty high up so even if I point them down you’re still going to blind people pretty badly when you’re at a stoplight. Do you have any recommendations for bulbs that put out maybe 1000 less lumens or Lux than the ones you’ve been testing, which I guess is still about 1000 more than a stock halogen..

@@CarLightReviews Thanks! I have been. I wish i could manipulate the data to only show certain rows and columns. Impressive sheet nonetheless though. I was trying to find something that didn't get too hot, didn't cost too much, and didn't put out too much light and was 6000 vs 6500k. Too some time but decided on the Lasfit LAAir. Hoping its not TOOO bright for my GX470.

The Auto Led Lighting HZ ithis Led Headlight Bulbs are no good as the Led Headlight Bulbs the Led Chips are are way to wide to match up to the Halogen Bulb Filament & thats why you don't get excellent led Headlighting always when you buy Led Headlight Bulbs take the original Halogen Bulb with you & match it with the Led Headlight Bulbs Led Chips to the Halogen Bulb Filament & look closely to the Led Chips to the Halogen Bulb Filament & that's the only way that you are going buy the correct Led Headlight Bulbs & its good to have cooling fans as well not to wide a Led Headlight Bulb body Kind Regards Peter
