God has revealed this to me. Being still is really not a bad thing. I have messed up so many times in my life when I tried to take control of situations. After my "mess ups" I still had to wait on God to clean up. "BE STILL AND KNOW THAT I AM GOD" Psalms 46:10.

This is perfect. I needed this. My crush told me that she knows that I like her. I was giving her time after breaking up from an abusive boyfriend. The ball is in her court and I keep praying that God will help me stop worrying and stop me from becoming obsessed. I am waiting for a result while also being her friend and hanging out I just don’t know what to do. I find myself praying everytime I get overwhelmed

Mark, I'm going to be so honest with you right now. I've liked and commented on many of your videos, but 'this one' , for me at least, is one of the best I've ever watched. I've been believing God to help me with problems I've been facing since I've been conscious of myself as a person. But I'd been feeling as though I had exhausted everything I knew to do and was relying on faith, and even then I still felt I was missing something. This was it. This is where I believe God has me. I stepped out on faith and moved to a new city, leaving all I knew behind. I thought once I got here, everything would fall into place. Thought I'd have a job soon after and that I'd immediately prosper as God promised. Boy was in for a rude awakening, lol. It's defintely been tough. Rejection after rejection, financial strain, not connecting to anyone, and not feeling sure of myself. Lots of inner turmoil/warfare. I try to believe God will come through in His own timing, but even trusting that has been hard.
Excellent video. Sometimes the hardest part is actually being still when God wants us to. Things will happen and answers given in His time, not mine.
"Be still and know that I am God..." is one of my favorite verses in the Bible. It is easy for me to step out on faith and do what the Lord has put on my heart, however, the be still part is what I struggle with. If there is one thing I have learned in my walk with God, it's that He is intentional. I know it was very much meant for me to see this video. Thank you and God bless you!!
Thank you for this. I was literally praying and crying out to the Lord today that I don't know what else to do and that I have given him my all and then not long after that this video comes along. I am going through the hardest battle I have ever had in my life. He has told me this is my season of rest in him and I know I need to be obedient and have the patience to wait on him.

@@emilypacheco5088 The storm still rages on but it has much improved since I posted my original comment. I had a few health issues with a severe back injury that temporarily paralyzed me and when I was able to get back on my feet after that my knees gave out from another injury that which neither has completely healed yet to this day but I am very thankful to be able to walk again. The Lord is also healing my heart as I had a minor heart attack due to stress. Like many others I am guilty of questioning his ways but then I think about what Jesus did for all of us and for that I am grateful and at peace with taking on whatever trials he wants for as long as it takes. Thru these trials Satan has also used pornography as a means of pulling me away from Jesus. I will admit it has been a struggle for me. It has drained my spirit and I know that secret sin grieves the holy spirit. I know one day these chains will be completely broken and what ever the future holds I am looking forward to it. I know in time the Lord will allow me to be there for others in need as one of my callings he has placed on my life is to be used by him to heal people.

Before even watching this video I know that this is what God is wanting me to do. I have been seeing content about “waiting” and “patience” non-stop. I CANT get away from it! I even visited a church that I don’t normally go to last Sunday, and the first point in the sermon was about patience. I have stepped out, but now I am at a point where there is nothing else I can do but pray and give thanks, and believe, and trust God, and wait. This has been difficult for me, because I like to do things! I like to be an active participant in getting stuff done. I don’t like waiting. Especially when the outcome seems uncertain. But today at work, I was listening to a video about why God makes us wait. And I was so encouraged that I actually asked God to extend the waiting period. I don’t know if that’s really necessary or not, and of course, God should do what is best for this situation. But, I just want the outcome to ultimately be the best that it can be. And if that involves me waiting a little longer, then I WILL WAIT! Either way, I want to use this time that I have to grow and to trust God more. He is definitely doing a work in me in that area. Thank you so much for this video. Just the title was an encouragement and confirmation in the season that I am in right now.
EDIT: Alright I watched the video. Point 1 and 2 are pretty much exactly what has happened to me. I stepped out, and I believe God gave me some specific instructions, and I followed them to the best of my ability. But now I am not hearing any specific instructions at the moment except for “wait”. This has been hard, but I know it is something that needs to be dealt with in me, as I have never been a fan of waiting. And for what God wants me to do, I am going to need to be able to wait. An important seed was planted! This is all going to work out for my good in the end.

My whole adult life has been one of two extremes; full force, or rock bottom. There have been no such things as “seasons” . I’m exhausted from these roller coaster up and down situations. I pray for balance, mental and spiritual rest, and peace. When people tell me they’re ‘bored’ in life or living a life of all going their way and want a challenge....I’m like, I’ve got plenty of them! Take them from me! I don’t understand how that feels, to be just existing. Please God, bring balance to my life where I’m not slamming through ceilings or being blasted to the ground (metaphorically speaking of course). I will try desperately to sit still and trust God for balance.

This video is timely for me Mark, I think sometimes we need to nurture our decision-making with God's guidance and cultivate the seed before trying to make more moves. We need to follow up moves like this with prayer and essentially submitting to the sovereignty of God on the matter. I appreciate your guidance a lot, I think it will serve many of us well to take heed to your lesson here. May God continue to provide you with insight to share with your brothers and sisters in Christ (as well as non-believers that God desires to call to Himself on the basis of your example). Thank You, Mark. This video coincides with what I am going through.I have let go and given it to God- in the meantime, I am healing physically and in my heart and soul. I find it comforting to read and hear others( videos) speak of God’s word. I know that when God wants you to be still , he is doing a lot more than we understand, behind the scenes. He wants us prepared for our continued path, so by being still, we are learning patience and seeking , within ourselves . To learn more about yourself , and find the true you , without ego based perspectives, we can get closer to God! We have been conditioned our whole lives , learning God’s Truth , which is Love, and heal ourselves from all the negativity that has disrupted our perspectives , is only part of how God prepares us for what is happening in the future.

Lol number 1 already called me out.
This past Friday I admitted my feelings to the guy I like. His response was that he "He kind of feels the same way, he thinks I'm pretty and kind, but he wants to focus on school and his relationship with God right now" and he ended it by saying "God might have a plan!"
However, I know this was just a nice way of rejecting me. He's told me in the past that he has a hard time saying no... so I know that he would never have to courage to tell the truth.
I'm so tired of telling guys how I feel and always being rejected. I give up. But if I never admit how I feel guys will never know I even like them, and will never pursue me.
I just need God to tell me if I'm meant to be single. This is beginning to get foolish at this point.

Yep, this is totally on. We must stay tuned in to God's frequencies and will. Sometimes this means sit still, if it is His will. Sometimes we must push. Sometimes we must pull.

Your videos are amazingly timely! As one of your last videos discussed, I “ripped the band aid off” i.e. took a step of faith. There is nothing else I can do because what needs to be done requires the actions of others. I had the expectation that these people would move immediately but for some unknown reason they are not acting. Before, I saw this video, it truly seems that God is telling me to wait. I recently took a step of faith in what I felt the Lord leading me to do. Sometimes I've been feeling a bit confused in the midst of it. Even have felt like walking away. But your message has encouraged me and I needed to hear it. Thanks and God bless you for it.
The first one is my situation, I have been praying two times a day since october and i ve been praying for my future and first girlfriend 2 times a day since december..I have become unpatient with this and I feel like I am ready to give up in patience, but as i started feeling like this, i started seeing many 4's (4 , 44, or 444, or any number that ends with 4 means that I shouldn t give up in what I started or that I ve already done the work and I should just wait.) So God now is seeing me , I am 100.1% sure he s seeing right now. IT S OBVIOUS !!! EVERYTHING IN THIS VIDEO IS FOR REAL MY SITUATION AND I KNEW THIS EVEN BEFORE WATCHING THIS !!! THIS IS CORRECT !!! I ve been praying for my future and also first girlfriend and I don t see any results and changes. Generally, when I feel like I waited enough, I get down on my knees in praying pose and I tell God "How big is that beautiful surprise You are "cooking" for me..Do I really deserve that? Thank you!..." and then i start to cry like a baby. And now I m sitting still as a hero who has finished his job, putting all my faith just into God. I am going to keep praying. My first love-and-I relationship is going to be so cute 🤗🤗🤗🙏🏼🛐✝️!!!
