idk why but I feel like David is constantly trying to avoid talking in Slovak
maybe because he hasn been speaking slovak for long time, i have the same issue when im in hungary,...because im half slovak and hungarian but i speak to everyone in slovak, and when im in hungary or somewhere where there are hungarian people i just prefer speaking english even though i know hungarian lol....

Hi :) i live in Slovakia and is really great to see someone to show such a big audience a little part of Slovakian culture ( our snacks), David's slovak is perfect and he shoudn't be ashamed to speak it. And thank you Joe for this content about Slovakia becouse not many people know about us as a country . We're small,but there is a lot to see 😊

when i first saw this video, i was at a time where i absolutely HATED being slovak. but when i watched this, it just brought this strange comfort within me and definitely was one of the things that made me realise, being slovak is really awesome! just the fact that this popular blogger was part of an underrated country filled my heart with joy :D

A lot of people who spoke multiple languages when younger get shamed out of knowing another language because of words like “this is America and we speak English” sadly. That’s probably not his reason but that’s the case for a lot of bilinguals

Well I’m the same I only speak Spanish to my family members and only them. Not because I hate speaking Spanish just because theirs a lot of people who love to judge on a persons pronunciation, accent, and speaking. So I feel kind of uncomfortable speaking it and I do know I haven’t mastered the Spanish language just yet. Maybe he feels insecure or even shy to speak in his native language
