This was the loudest game I have ever been at. Pure bliss. I was also at the Seahawks NFC championship win, so that's saying something.
You should have seen the end of the video. The field was a sea of purple. Go DAWGs!
Yeah he always pauses before the end of every video, probably afraid of autoplay or thumbnails popping up haha😅
Don't say Dawgs. That doesn't belong to your team.
@@robtintelnot9107 I’m 70 years old and they’ve been the DAWGS for as long as I can remember. If that causes you heartburn, well, that’s just added pleasure.
Nope! Lol there's only one Dawg Pound in this country. "Dawg" belongs to Cleveland. We've been using it for 40 years.
@@robtintelnot9107 If The Huskies called their stadium the pound I might agree with you, but we don’t and have never. Just The DAWGs. Been around since 1889 which is considerably longer than The Brown Bombers. But I think since we are in different leagues the name ownership is pointless.
A lot of the top college football reporters and analysts say this was the best college football game of the season so far.
It was OK.
They say that about a game every week 😂
@@MALLY808No, they don't. This was genuinely an extraordinary football game between two of the top 5 or 6 teams in the country.
The stadium is in Seattle on Lake Washington. One of nicest stadium locations in the country, if not the nicest.
BYU has a really nice setting
@@stacimiles3278 yeah that mountain backdrop is awesome
Yeah the tailgating is great but it’s not every stadium that has sailgating!
I'll vouch for that. Husky stadium holds 70,000 people, is right on the lake with a big ass parking lot to tailgate in. But Autzen stadium is way better, go 🦆 Ducks.
@@heywoodjablowme8120 Autzen is also a beautiful stadium. I’ve been once and would love to go back again
I've been going to Husky games since I was about 7 years old. I graduated from the University of Washington and was lucky enough to be a student there when they won a national title. After all those years and also years of attending Seattle Seahawk games, this is the one game that I rank as the best football game that I've ever seen. A true classic! Go Huskies!!
Wow, this highlight left out a really important play!! It doesn’t show Oregon making a horrible mistake and giving the ball back to Washington. Notice how possession changes at 10:50 in the video. Oregon didn’t advance beyond that catch and when to 4th down. They inexplicably went for it on 4th down near the 50 while they had a 4 point lead. They failed and gave Washington excellent field position. Idiotic decision by Oregon football staff.
Keep in mind these are all conference games now so they have conf championship consequences too .
THE WHEELS CHANNEL IS THE BEST HIGHLIGHTS YOU CAN VIEW
The washington oregon rivalry is bigger then there in state games
I agree. I think it mite bee bigger thin they're in state games.
Hell no it's not!!! Civil War game U of O vs OSU has ALWAYS been and will be the biggest rivalry for each school, not just in football but in every sport. UW is a very distant #2.
HUGE boat parties out there too!!! You can hear all the action whilst tv's show the Game live.
Its AWESOME ,
just a bit of a fact. Oregon has a population of 4.3 million while Washington has a population of 8 million.
Both states have had fantastic football teams for over 100 years.
Has a Duck fan this was a great game. Hoping for a rematch in Vegas
I can’t wait to see you enjoy your game. Aiden please bring a camera and vlog your experiences. I live in Connecticut and there really isn’t the best college football programs within an 8hr radius of me. So I have to live vicariously through you guys.
I hope they react to the Utah vs USC game! It was a revenge match for USC after losing twice to Utah.
That is why ,that game was the game of the week/
Reminds me of the Chip Kelly days. They did blow that game but at the same time his aggressive calls kept them in the game. Love Dan Lanning, about time Oregon landed a good coach. They got more money than god, AKA Phil Knight and Nike.
Corners are a different breed of human. On and off the field😂
Oregon was ranked #7 and Washington was ranked #8 in the country. Yes, the 2 states border each other.
Oregon's main rival is Oregon St. but #2 would definitely be U dub.
its 9:42 GMT and the Oregon Ducks are in a good battle withe the Washington State Cougars !
Really tough being an Oregon fan because it truly was a great game but I can’t enjoy it now 😭
Huskies Oregon rematch last night, even better than the first one, you should check it out!
Amazing stadium, most gorgeous setting in college football. No contest. Of COURSE there are many amazing places, settings, to see college football in America but nothing beats the water, boats, city views of Husky Stadium. Great game! I love the Seahawks and Lumen Field (horrible name. Seahawks Stadium) but when I first went into the upgraded Husky Stadium it was clear- it's better. And bigger. Unreal place to see a great game.
FSU vs Duke great game last night.
This would have been a good trip for you to see game in Seattle area.
-
Based on Ohio State beating Penn State today -
The Ohio State vs Michigan game this year will be Huge - winner goes to playoff (maybe both).
-
This has always been a good Pacific Northwest game (Pac-12 conference).
It will continue, as both teams move to B1G conference,
I know! They would love a Washington game so much more than an Alabama game imo
Yeah Daz, as Jim Morrison said....the West is the best, get here we'll do the rest. Fly into Seattle and road trip down the coast to San Francisco. Killer drive.
Next year is gonna be interesting. No more PAC 12.
U. Of Oregon, the birthplace of Nike (when a waffle iron was used to make soles of athletic shoes over 50 years ago).
Phil Knight a U of O alum makes sure the Ducks get all the goodies like killer uniforms.
And we beat them again tonight!
While I agree corner is underrated when it comes to difficulty, especially as the skill level increases, when I played in high school I liked corner because I sort of got to keep everything to one side of me. depending on what side I was playing, the sideline is always there for you to use and you just have to keep the ball inside of you and push them back toward the rest of the defense. Now when it comes to man coverage, thats a whole different story and is what I think to be some of the most difficult spots to play on the field.
is this a video game? when they do close ups it looks like it! I think it's just the video itself
You guys should watch the Pac-12 championship game it’s a rematch between these two teams and it’s also a very good game.
Wembanyama preseason highlights, he's insane
Crazy how a week makes. Washington barely beats asu and oregon handily beats the Washington State... Both still top ten teams in the nation..
Huck the Fuskies
Both Oregon and Washington are traditionally known for having ALL offense, NO defense. So it makes for a great game
That is absolutely not true. Wtf are you talking about? Oregon? Maybe. Washington? Washington has always been a very defense-minded program. The NFL is currently and for decades has been littered with defensive players from Washington. UW.
What are asinine ignorant comment from the East Coast. Nike University, U of O has been churning out NFL players for decades but you're probably some millennial that didn't know that.
@@heywoodjablowme8120 To be fair to the original commentor he just said the schools aren't known for defense, which is still wrong. Both schools put plenty of guys in the NFL and for UW its mostly defensive players
@@mneugent7658 Hey man you speak the truth, only seen one game at Husky Stadium but it was back in 1999 they Oregon and dominated the whole game against Joey Harrington. I remember one guy named Lester Towns knocked a Oregon dude so hard, like a classic hit and he stood over him. UW wasn't relevant for a long time and Washington State was actually better for awhile. It will be interesting next year because of no PAC 12 but I hope all the old schools play each other as much as possible.
Michael pennix has a shot at the heisman trophy and will be a top 5 pick in the draft
I’m a UW fan and Penix fan.. he’ll win the Heisman but he won’t be a top 5 pick in the draft. He’s 23 so he’s probably a mid-first round pick at best. Odunze is actually projected higher than Penix.
@@PapaGirth69420I'm a UW fan who cried and threw a temper tantrum when Mark brunell threw a dagger interception in the 93 Rose Bowl and as much as I would like to see that, penixs sleepwalking last night (2INT, 1 lost fumble, no TDs) didn't do him any favors.
And the way ASU was doubling Rome while keeping safety help for Polk was absolutely BEGGING for McMillan to go for 250yds. Even losing Germie was a bigger blow than we might realize
I'm a 🦆 Ducks fan and like usual these guys are about to OD on heroin like Kurt, Layne and Chris. UW hasn't been relevant since the early 90s grunge music with Billy Joe Hobert was taking money from boosters. Personally I think Deion's kid is a better quarterback because he has less to work with. Don't let them fool you, Seattle's team is much like it's city, a little flash, mostly homeless trash, rainy and very depressing. Go 🦆 Ducks. Bo Nix for Heisman.
On defense, Safety or Mike Lb is the hardest position. Depends who makes the reads for the defense on that team
Nah corner is harder then both. The most physically draining and even if you do EVERYTHING right you can still fail your assessment especially if the receiver is half decent. Also mentally it’s easy to lose confidence that’s why corners hype themselves up after a play fails to their side even if they didn’t do anything. Like if the reviver dropped the ball
@supersquadsnow I respect your opinion. I played db, fs, and receiver, I just thought having to change play calls and being more involved with run stopping and the middle or deep balls was more too worry about. But every team "coach" has a different way of coaching
@supersquadsnow You probably right.. I didn't like playing corner
normally the home team wears their colors, and away teams wear a neutral color.
But Oregon changed all that. When Phil Knight funds your program you can wear new uniforms every single game.
if Washington had marvin harrison this game they would have won by 100
Washington university is in Seattle
*Chaz
Incorrect. Washington University is in St. Louis, MO. The University of Washington (the team in this video) is in Seattle, WA.
Oregon here. Id rather watch college football then pro football. no money to be had in non pro sports.
No money to he had in college sports?? Oh...so that's why college athletes get paid now. College football is raining money.
Born in Seattle, I live in Portland now.
These colors don't run!!! Go Dawgs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
😈😈
Born in Portland, live in Portland. Fck Starbucks, Pike's market, and the rusty Space needle. Huskies barely won at home and they'll lose one guaranteed before seasons end. Go 🦆 Ducks.
need to do colorado stanford its way better
Huskies got the best jerseys in CFB
And I told y’all about Washington a long time ago just you guys are still stuck on Bama.. they played good today but UW is better.
Pfft.....😂😂😂😂 lmao. As a Duck fan that bleeds green that was hilarious. U dubs uniforms look straight out of the 70s. Phil Knight makes sure the Ducks have different uniforms EVERY SINGLE GAME😂😂😂
This was a good lost for Oregon. They needed a humbling. Mainly their coach.
More hockey reactions pls
