Michael Moorcock is a writing god and one of the most wonderful human beings I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. I wish with all my heart I could just give him a big hug and tell him how much he meant to a few teenagers in Tennessee three decades ago and still today. I LOVE YOU MIKE ❤ R.I.P. Terry Jones, you are missed by many!

I kept watching and half expecting this to turn into a Monty Python Skit.

The past is a foreign country, for sure. Hard to imagine a bunch of wild-haired guys chatting calmly about books, psychic powers, anarchy, and the Sex Pistols on mainstream TV these days.

Kit Pedler also wrote or co-wrote 6 1960s Doctor Who stories and co-created the Cybermen with Gerry Davis. Seeing him on this with Terry Jones would've been iconic, but alas 😢. RIP to all of them.

22:48 Michael's smile while Terry waxes lyrical about his work is adorable.

I've never seen this series of Jones before, its really cool and such nostalgia even though i was a very young kid then but its always been a sentimental period for me.

The most important person here being Kit Pedlar. If people had followed his example our land, sea, food, and water, would have been a lot cleaner, and we'd have a lot less cancers and associated diseases like those caused by Dupont with Teflon.

The book that interested me the most was The Clandestine Farm by Anthony Wigens. The thing I've discovered after years of walking in the countryside is the people who live in it are the worst thing about it! One can only describe them as being anti-human as it's clear from my personal experiences they vehemently oppose and are very hostile towards those who express self autonomy, free will, spirit of life, freedom and true joy by walking through the countryside. Is it the ownership of land or property in the countryside that turns one against humanity? They're in the habit of expressing it by erecting barbed wire fences along footpaths, with the barbed wire put on the footpath side of the posts with the subtle intention of causing injury to anyone who strays too close to it, especially if the path is narrow, which is illegal, by the way. Other tactics they use are fasle notices declaring the footpath you're about to use is closed due to maintenance work diverting you to another. I just tear them down and walk on the path to their bitter consternation. Obstructions of footpaths is hugely common. I wonder if Anthony ever had a bad experience crossing paths with people like them.

With a little make-up Gerry Davis could pass for John Cleese.

Can you imagine a TV programme like this going out today, just a bunch of writers sitting around and talking? And all white males as well, crikey, Twitter would shit itself.

ah yes, famous anti progressive individuals Michael Moorcock and Neil Gaiman, who almost certainly didn't actively include diversity in their many famous works

An excellent programme with far too many views. Either the Utoob algorithm is responsible or far too people have no intellect or taste. Probably both which would account for all the brainless video's of cleavage, cats & celebrities.

    *_Michael Moorcock / Malcolm MacLaren = MM = 33 = Code 33_*
i.e. spook / agent / character/persona/actor of some description, and certainly a lodge botherer / Apron Fairy into the bargain (Masonry, Rosy Cross, occult / boy buggery entrapment ring etc).
    *_Three days, or eleven years = 3 x 11 = 33._*
Sigh. Bit of a shame. I've been a fan of Moorcock since my teenage years, when his sword & sorcery came as a huge (and permanent) relief and breath of fresh air, after having wasted god knows how many years ingesting the high-fantasy pap of Tolkien, David Eddings, Terry Brooks, and on and on ad infinitum (along with C.S. Lewis, whose barely-fit-for-ar$e-wiping fantasy fiction, whatever genre it might exist in, certainly isn't high fantasy...) I'm not sure of the exact rule of High Fantasy, but it's surely something along the lines of: _Every 'High Fantasy' trilogy / quadrilogy / pentalithography / sextuplet / septa-soporofic / do-deca-do-it-all-over-yet-again / non-a-dea / decapathlon / Elf-Ography / slumbe-DOZEn or what have you must be a minimum of:'_
    • x hundreds of thousands of pages, or X Bibles-worth,
    • x hundredweight or imperial tonnes of printed dead plant matter, or
    • x (e.g. 18) hands high when stacked atop a sacrificial Clydesdale in a quicksand swamp (RIP)
Robert E. Howard was the other stalwart I relied upon in my recovery from _'Epic Pooh'_ as Mike Moorcock-For-Your-Cock so eloquently put it in his seminal (oo er) pamphlet of the same name. Right on point with that he was (note however that most of the guests on the show portrayed in this video appear to be sub-brainless pinkos or worse) HP Lovecraft is over-rated trash of the highest order. Darryl Schewtizer is one of the all-time best in the genre IMO (meagre output unfortunately, due to his editorial pursuits). Gene Wolfe, ahahaha...there's a bit too much to unpack with mean Gene for this post. Certainly not your typical catholic (snicker).
Anyway, point being: it's a shame to find out that Moorcock's yet another apron-wearing Lodge botherer, but not remotely surprising. Alan Moore's one of the most obvious _"mystics"_ in the history of fiction (fantasy, comic, or otherwise)...in the original sense of the word 'mystic' (to mystify AKA befuddle, cloud, confuse, un-enlighten, disinform etc). Smart chap, entertaining, but presents an utterly false picture of himself, albeit quite convincingly (to the untrained eye / unfamiliar)
