I fished today because of this video all day. Used over 1800+ bait, had 300 small sacks and around 100 big sacks and didn’t even get 1 shard from either tevent or bellandyr. Spent over 8 hours. Don’t think that this is factual or realistic in any way
I leveled fishing just because I wanted to. Hit level 12, probably 60ish small sacks and 10 big and got 0 shards. Barely got 10 jade to upgrade to the steel fishing pole lol
would be fine if u couldnt just straight p2w the weapon with irl money from the AH. having smt behind a grind wall that can get bought in a swipe click devalues people time and efforts.

Regarding fishing, paste is the only way to get sacks. After collecting sacks (around 60 small and 8 big ones) and getting nothing, I gave up on the notion of trying to farm for this.
Fishing story definetily fake news - if you calculate the math you know it would take roughly 0.5 million fishing attempts - if not more - to get the 180 sacks. If you need 15 sec per fishing attempt it would be roughly 1900 hours and not the stated 72 hours from the video.
There are so many comments about how X isn’t free because it takes in game time and I’m really starting to get confused at players want today? Of course it’s a grind and takes time? The idea that the best items are hard to get and is not for everyone is ok. It’s ok to have non bis items. Personally I’m not going to spend my time grinding for bis and I’m ok with that; however, Uni makes a video on how people can grind for bis and the pitchforks come out. @@mylesmiller5979 is not about having a job or not... when u quantify progress ingame with how much money u earn per hour irl, and u come up to the conclusion that is it actually better to spend irl money instead playing the game, u lose that drive to actually play the game. is just that people got so used to being abused by gaming companies and mmos especially that they accepted it. i want to play the game and feel a sense of achievement when i grind smt, not just swipe a card and acquire that smt with no effort. being a free game doesnt mean that it has to be that much predatory, look some other free game like path of exile, they sell just cosmetics and stash tabs, and the game is doing great. sadly the whole mmo genre is on decline since all they do nowdays are semi mobile fast cash grabs games with poor gameplay since they are designed around making your life miserable to force u to spend money instead playing the game.

best way to farm this is through fishing and dont even expect that you can get one.. just play the game.. fish for fishing exp, you'll be less disappointed lol.. and the events arent really optimal as a lot of people crowd the damn place, and kill the mobs before tevent even buff em for loots lol
Great method with that drop chance you just need around 67000 small bags/31000 big bags or any mix of both to get 180 shards!! I guess having a job and buy lucent from the shop is still the fastest farming method for a archboss weapon
Most of the meta gear is obtainable pretty easily. Archboss is grindy af. But otherwise if you spend a few hours either token burning in appropriate dungeon or grind tier 2 you can get everything you need.
I wish it wasnt 180 pieces...i wish it was like 50 or maybe even a 3-piece untradable fragment set where you have to put them together as a crafting material
It is highly improbable that the friend actually fished their weapon shards. Considering that you'd be lucky to get 180 shards even if you opened 25k large sacks with 0.58% chance for a shard each. It would likely take much more than 25k bait because nobody gets 100% large sacks from fishing. I would even question the bait story as you can buy 5k bait from ornate shop each month and 50 per day from contract manager, it would take 4 months to get that much paste. It all sounds very fishy. But even real life fishermen are known for their tall tales, so it makes sense the in-game fishers would do the same. Unless, of course, there is a 3rd type of sack hidden somewhere that has much higher chance for a shard?

I managed to get queen bellandir fragment 3 times during the caravan event when no one knew about it yet because we were only 2 people following her, now there is half a server, same for tevent, where I never dropped anything. what is the best fishing rod for? do you have a better chance of dropping or does it speed up fishing?

it's actually not even possible to cast and catch that many fish over that period of time. 12hr x 6days x 60mins = 4320 mins x 60seconds = 259200seconds (your friends claimed fishing time) each fish caught takes around 30 seconds to catch 259200/30 = 8640 fish caught. He would have to fish for 2.5 weeks, 12hr per day to use his claimed 23k-25k bait. Your friend lied, he swiped to buy the item. Please stop sharing misinformation.
Yeah, sounds cool, doesn't work. I have used about 4.5k baits, didn't even get a single shard. Ever since the arch bosses came out, Desert caravan is full. can't even reach to box. Ever since the evet where recent spawns, I have went there to farm, didn't get any single fragment. I have done everything that has a chance to drop, didn't even get a single fragment, still doing them, still not getting anything. I am convinced that my RNG really sucks, because I still haven't dropped any boss drop either ever since the start of the game. But I really think that those fragments are just some sort of bait.

@FakeUni I calculate about 20 fragments could be aquired about this time without swiping. And that's by playing all day. T&L really goofed up with weapon drop system. Drop rates in general are poop. Open world loot is near nonexistant. Sure you get lots of gems from abyssal contract areas. The loot itself is abyssmal. Rubs me the wrong way but I still like the game. The players shouldnt be punished for bot activity.

So, you need x540 pieces!!! Or just spend $2000-$3000 value Lucent to get it from Auction House to make rich AGS, that is the main reason thy sent out RMT bans and actions; but the actual problem here is the Lucent non-sense in Auction House, and every low RNG chance to get every loot as the game built on mega P2W system that normal ways to make progress is not possible as the game will progress further into T2 and then T3 gear items with new World Bosses and new Archbosses etc to repeat same mega p2w system or no life mega grind system, nothing more. And of course, every 21 days - more p2w and more Lucent related items are coming to cash shop.
I am so tired of the ppl crying p2w shut up and go play final fantasy or wow then. I been playing for 5 days, 3.2k gear score, not a penny spent, and it's just as fun. If anyone is willing to spend 20k on agame to get gear that will be outdated in a few updates, deserve it.

If you Look at the loot pool for skeleton mobs up by the Cypt it shows they have a chance to drop the shards regardless if Tevent is there.
