Great vid! Do you know if it is possible to play local co-op mode in mixed reality? I want to play this with my wife in our house as we each have our own Quest 3s.
Mixed reality looks neat for people who are prone to VR sickness or to show off VR to someone unexperienced. Personally I would play once and probably never touch again.
Hi! What i have to do with my guardian? The Guardian I can make is smaller than the size of the walls and perimeter. So I can't do missions without going out...
I have an annoying issue so I can get through the first part and then it'll ask me to set up a boundary despite the fact that I scan my room. Like it's redundant. I set up my play space then it asks to pick standing boundaries or room scale......any advice
wolf forgive me if im wrong but how have you not played job simulator? i feel like screwing around is 90% of what you do in games and thats kinda the whole game.
Someone needs to make a simple laser tag type game you can play locally with other users in the backyard or a big room with obstacles. Or even fake obstacles.
I'm trying to setup espire 2 with mixed reality. I carry out the procedure but when I start the game it asks me to redo the new borders. Can anyone help me?
i got lucky and somehow managed to got my roomscale working with almost my whole house lol.. can only give u as tip to draw like a retard and not smooth and if you are lucky the roomscale get bigger
I'm still not convinced on MR gaming. Undeniably cool. But you're unavoidably limited to your room. Good if you've got a large space like Wolf. My playable space is a fraction of that size. And you can't do things like climbing... Or GOING anywhere.
Yes, you are limited by the reality that you actual are in - your home. But that's where the "virtual" part comes in. Of course you will be limited by your own physical space that you are in - and that's the "reality" part of mixed reality. However, I can see in the future being able to set up and build environments to play in out in your yard (again, if you have one) but there is little that can be done if you just live, say in a tiny apartment in the city. At that point, you are better off staying VR and going with a VR treadmill like the Katwalk to gettting a more physical, "real world" feel (if you can afford it both financially and the space it eats up!). My "playspace" is also a small 15 foot square room, but it won't be when my Quest 3 gets here! I will be playing Espire 2 in my living room, then my dining room, then across all three bedrooms upstairs (if it allows for it) and that is what makes it exciting - you are not limited to your "playspace" because you can still see your couch and tables and you don't have to worry about falling over stuff like in VR. I also see a space where you could have virtual arcades - a empty building where you could go on missions (or virtual hauntings) - a escape room type thing. But yeah, if you live in a tiny apartment, MR may not be that exciting for you personally. I do understand what you are saying/thinking - making it to the "next level" and going on a continuous adventure will be difficult because the game "environment" is always exactly the same - your home. But it does open a ton of doors as to what we can do. It is an exciting time for this technology and I can see huge potential for MR down the line.
@@TheBaldrickk Absolutely. We are also limited by what we can do physically. That diving roll to pick up the gun to shoot the guy behind you looks great until you try it in your living room and smash you shoulder into the floor! 🤣 But I believe there is still great potential in MR. Personally, if I could scan my whole house and play a home invasion, zombie apocalypse, or haunted house, I would be thrilled. Also, I'm excited for the tutorial applications like Piano Vision and Paradiddle .

Sad the devs just had to restructure and layoff a number of staff. Game development in Australia continues to be hard mode.
layoffs all over the place. dev and particularly in the game industry need to unionize where they can.
Sad to hear that, its such a good mixed reality game, Meta should be promoting it more

Why does you basement look so nice
I feel like Mr would be dope for an on the rails shooter like time crisis, I would love a time crisis vr game
Reading your comment a year later and Spatial Ops just came out and people say it is like time crisis.
The missile part made me cringe dude it follows the laser. It’s wire guided basically, you point the launcher at the heli and keep aiming at it
