Hello, thanks for the comment. Yes! That's the cool thing, you can control the volume on both your TV and the receiver. You can use your tv speakers and main speakers (on stereo receiver) at the same time.
Sorry for the late reply. You can get a digital coaxial cable at ebay, amazon and other online store. Make sure its the one with the RCA Plug Connecter and its a 75 ohm cable. here's a link to a coaxial cable on ebay, www.ebay.com/itm/256271087732
The FiiO D3 is a great sounding DAC. I use it on my TV with a AudioSource amp100 and a good quality coaxial cable, sounds great. For the price of the FiiO DAC and the sound, you can't beat it.
Hello, thanks for the question. No, it will only play through one output, either the RCA or 3.5mm jack. But it will play through the TV and 1 audio out jack, RCA or 3.5mm. You can listen through the TV and 1 audio jack at the same time. This is what I do. I use the RCA jacks for my stereo amplifier with 2 speakers and the sound from my TV at the same time. Its like having 3 channel sound. (using the TV as a center speaker). Hope that helps.
@@lovethatpop hehe good idea. But how can u use 2 different outputs? In tv audio menu u use the tv speakers option i think, but then the pcm optical output how works at the same time?
@@CoffeeGameMovie Yes, it does it automatically, when you hookup the cables. You can play the sound from your TV and 1 stereo input, You can't use 2 AUX inputs at the same time. There's a switch on the back of the DAC that only allow you to used 1 digital output from the TV (coaxial or toslink connector). The switch allows you to select either coaxial or toslink which connects to the TV. That's all you can do. I hope that helps. let me know if you need anything else.
I have mine connected to my amp and the 16 mm have a rca spliter to wire a sub woofer since my amp does not have subwoofer outputs. And it plays 2 output simultanously.
Charles white how to order
Can you still control the volume through the tv or only through the receiver?

Where can I get the coaxial cable you used to plug TV out to the DAC?
