You should rename this video. Nowhere in the video did you go over how to setup and use the drive.
The drive came already set up in Exfat format which is just a plug and play.

Actually I found another video that showed that you can install the software that’s loaded on the drive or just erase the drive and reformat it and use it that way. Thanks for the reply.
@@dustindewind3806 Okay. On mine it was already exfat without the need for formating (exfat is acceptable on almost all OS). Formatting tools are pre-installed on all computers. Glad you found exactly what you wanted 👍🏽.
Now after some time have you had any issues? Plus how is the speed generally speaking? Saw a few reviews which said it dies within a year which scared me.
Thanks! Great content!
Thank you 🙌🏽
For your next one you can save yourself some money by getting the SanDisk SSD Portable instead of the SanDisk Extreme V2... if you replace the USB-C to USB-A cable that comes in the box with a USB-C to USB-C cable, you'll get the same speeds. Besides the length of the C-C cable that comes with the Extreme is a joke. Maybe you can do a comparison video and show the difference in speed of the two drives with C-A and C-C cables... it's true that's it's 520MB/s with the included C-A cable but really, you could slow the Extreme V2 down to that too by using a C-A cable instead of a C-C cable. The nice thing though, you can get way more out of their standard version by using a C-C cable.
Great suggestions I'll try to get ssd portable and do the test 👍🏽
Hey thank you very much for the review. Do you know if there is Trm software avail. for this device?
Hi, I don't know what trm is can you explain?

Misleading video. It doesn’t show you how to set it up like the title says..
There's no tutorial set up for these sandisk drives. You remove it out of the box plugged it in the computer (it shows up you use it). Now if it doesn't show up you will see it inside disk utility then reformat it. Mine came alredy ready to use just plug and use it. What you saw in the video is what I did with mine.
What type of set up were you looking for? ( I would be better to be detailed then I can point you in the right direction or make an other video exclusively addressing your concern).
Here's another video I did on the same drive. Macbook Best External SSD SanDisk 2TB or Sabrent 4TB

You did not show me how to use it
Mine came just like I showed. Just plug it and it works. In case there's issues you need to format the ssd.

Title of this is NOT accurate. Just him rambling about nothing to do with set up, or how to use it!! What a waste of time!
Please watch this one you will understand

I don't understand what else type of set up is needed for a drive preformatted to be plug and play😭....set up is just remove out of the box and use it 😄
SOS help

Hi what's wrong?
Opening the box and a speed test is not, set up and how to use it. 👎👎
San disk I think came in Fat32 by default.
Fat32 is standard and work with almost all operating system. I don't recall formatting the 2tb be starting to use.
This video should be perfect to explain the formatting, set up and everything to know.

Don´t dare to buy this. If ever gets corrupted, no way you can recuperate your data. Etheir you can´t format it, to get it reusable. The only way you can format it, is with a good piece of a hammer and smash it.
Have you tried contacting SanDisk?? They might be able to recover the data
