Loved this video! That's such an INFJ thing to say: "What's a word to describe..." hahah I never have words that can fully describe my entire ideas either! All descriptive words are different depending on the context!
I have nothing clever to say: only that I loved watching you two together. So funny and odd and awkward, yes, and adorable your connection to each other. Thanks for showing it!
I looooove the ENFP preference. I have ENFP envy. I protect the xNFPs at my job from the collectivists, to the point of intense confrontation. It's a tough job being a highly individualistic INFJ, but ain't no ENFJ going to mess with my fae kin. Daenerys, eat your heart out. You can see how Ne-influenced I am. I love and envy the function. - Bubbly male INFJ :)
Being that INFJ & INTJ have near mirror enjoyments and complement each other well. I find that including an ENFP in the relationship allow to bring them out more. Same time an INTJ can make a ENFP Laser Focused.
(ENFP) The touch issue is something common for INFJs who are naturally Highly Sensitive Person(HSP). Still, you're wrong if you think it's not something you like. INFJs often deny their desires, because of the supposed-to's of society. It is a common Ti issue. Usually, the best ways to bring your natural desires to consciousness and find peace inside you is psychotherapy and these deep, serious conversations with your ENFP friend as you mention, which sometimes is hurtful, hard and still ALWAYS lifechanging to the better. Hugz :)
Argeed. Self denial is real for me. I always thought it was the right thing I was supposed to do. ENFPs you Lowkey scare me, because you tend to awaken that part of me that I suppress (The unfiltered R-rated version manic version that's about the shock and awe of it all. So basically my inner ENFP lols)
Hey Solohouette, I'm wondering what it is about touch that makes you uncomfortable? I'm also an INFJ and have an interesting relationship with 'touch'. When it comes to my love languages, it's first, equal to words of affirmation. I'm male, but still give friends of the same gender brief hugs and such, even massages in a non-sexual way once in a while, however cuddling with someone of the same sex would be very uncomfortable for me. That is, if it was serious. I use touch to make my friends uncomfortable at times, it's quite funny. I'm much more comfortable when it comes to touch with the opposite gender, however I feel like it isn't appropriate unless I am in a relationship with the other person. I think it's because I like to think I reserve 'touch' for my partner to make it special. Do you relate to any of this? You two seem to have a great friendship, thanks for sharing it.
Hi Squizzo, Interesting to hear that physical affection is so important to you. I'm not too sure when my aversion to being touched started - I've just always hated it. Oddly enough, my SO's love language is also physical affection. Even when I'm with him there's still some resistance to being touched (especially if it's completely random). I wish things could be different - it's just hard when I'm so content with having my own space. Thanks for the question :)
Interesting topic. I find that having aversion or 'accepting' being touched has everything to do with how someone enters my bubble. It doesn't matter if it's a man or woman, but you'd better do in a genuine and personal manner or expect me to growl haha. Like that 'bro' that barges into the room and slaps you on the shoulder, oblivious to my death-stares.. However in intimate situations there is nothing, and I mean it, that I enjoy more then intuitive touch. Partners always mention this about me. Side not, I also have this weirdo 'thing' with touching objects.. I just love to feel the texture of things :S
Lol. I've since left my work place but the ENFP that I met there wouldn't stop hugging me. She's like you're leaving so I'm definitely gonna hug the crap out of you. It was very awkward and people thought we were a couple. I'm like no she is just touchy feely.
INFJ & HSP here. Fascinating. I just met an older INTJ at work this year and she's awesome. She's got the intuition like I do, but definitely not as emotional as I am. Never met someone who really just understood me apart from my now girlfriend (an ENFJ I think)
Hi! I loved how you shared this amazing friendship on your channel, it just made me smile throughout the video, bc it was so natural, so real. I can really relate since I am an Enfp myself and I deeply cherish my personal Infj's :) Yeah, so anyways, THNX💫 and, keep up the good stuff!!
Male ENFP. My #1 love language is time. Romantically, touch is important but in friendships not so much. I do have a married lady friend at work who "fun punches" me and that's cool. We would prolly date is she was single so it's safe way to show we like each other; I guess she's more physical than I am. This is weird, I never thought of myself as non-physical but I guess I am a bit more than I thought. I definitely don't like when people use touching as a covert weapon or manipulation; got enough of that from my smother for a lifetime..
I had a ENFP friend but we have drifted apart... let's say I may have doorslammed her after trying sooo hard to get her to understand that she was hurting me and she just didn't care, because things were distracting her so much that real friendships were coming after random people she just felt compelled to spend time with and that totally clashed with my values, so...
You two would be my ideal relationship partners. Even though I know a lot of people expect to be in a Single partner relationship. I find myself attracted to both INFJ as a modest Research Assistant/Teacher helper and ENFP as crazy fun goofy Redhead.
Interesting! You should do a video of out takes. And when I say out takes I mean none of the clips in this video and all of the clips you cut. It would give an INFJ viewer 80% more understanding regarding your relationship. Also tell your friend shes a QT3.14

Charisma. Wow
I am the same enneagram as you! It seems majority of INFJs are 4w5 or 5w4
