The spraying for mosquitoes and pests unalive off most of the food sources. Pretty much destroyed the eco system. So im assuming the big ones are now just seasonal. Sigh
Me personally 9xs out of 10 I'll choose anchovy.......when Im going bait fishing, just because of the oiliness and smelly-ness it'll produce .... Also everything my fiance has taught me or better yet what I've seen .... He will choose anchovy before chad
Yea that anchovy sure has that smell to it. I'll be putting more tests out there for future videos on bait versusing for sure. Seems folks love bait fishing.

@@hershisadventuresincalifor9725 cant beat them anchovies for sure. The 2nd spot looked very hopeful but after catching that turtle i knew it was not worth it to stay anymore. I was shocked that little canal held cats
@@HangNFish Fair amount of things I hate about fishing heh. Snags surely be one, and no bite days. However, not knowing what we're about to pull up is a unique feeling. Heck yeah that was sweet! Side note I hear you about the turtles, oddly I personally love pulling an OCCASIONAL turtle. Think caught 3 different types to date. Was it the Red Ear Slider?

@@chinosaki8067 the first spot i was so sure it would hold something but the current was a bit fast. 2nd spot i was really hoping the area was gonna hold some catfish bur after 30 min there and a turtle hit only.
Fresh Shad is the best - not that frozen stuff - you should of counted the number of hits not fish - you missed a few strikes LOL - good stuff though - try fresh shad especially in the fall👍

I was really hoping for bass in the area of the first part at least. I thought with a fast current there be striper but i guess not.
