      +Sagat Rehman Jesus said that the Christ must suffer and die before entering into his glory (Luke 24:26). Yusuf Estes does not believe in the true Jesus Christ who suffered and died for our sins. Jesus is the Servant of the Lord who suffers and dies for the sins of the people, foretold by the prophet Isaiah (Isaiah, chapter 53).

      +Dominic Madbull We must believe what Allah has spoken through the Israelite prophets. The prophet Isaiah foretells the suffering and death of Jesus for our sins. It is written about in Isaiah, chapter 53. The Quran, Surah 2:136 says Muslims should believe all that has been sent down to the Israelite prophets.

      @Jonathan DeLeon: You should every now and then lift the blinders and check what's going on in the world - LOL. While I have nothing to do with institutionalized religions I don't see any reason why I should bash any one of them. It's the people of ALL faith who manage always to distort, bend and twist their scriptures for their personal gain and agenda.
      Having said that and picking up your statement how peaceful the world would be without Islam and how much Islam is the cause for terrorism ... I remembered this comment which I read a while ago:
      Quote:
      I like the answer of this German Scholar when he was asked about terrorism and Islam: He said:
      - Who started the First World War, which killed 37 million and injured 22, 379,
      053 that includes 7 million civilians? Muslims?
      - Who started the Second World War, which killed over 60 million, which was
      over 2.5% of the world population? Muslims?
      - Who killed about 20 million of Aborigines in Australia? Muslims?
      - Who drop the nuclear bombs on Hiroshima and Nagasaki, which killed 166,000people in Hiroshima and 80,000 in Nagasaki? Muslims?
      - Who killed more than 100 million Red Indians in North America? Muslims?
      - Who killed more than 50 million Indian in South America? Muslims?
      - Who took about 180 million African people as slaves and when 88% of them
      died, threw them into the Atlantic Ocean? Muslims?
      NO!
      They weren’t Muslims! First of all, you have to define terrorism properly…. If
      a non-Muslim does something bad… it is crime. But if a Muslim commits the same, he is a terrorist. So first remove the double standard… then come to the point.
      *** Just for your information ***
      Mind you, this German Scholar was very nice and humane - he didn't talk about the Millions and Millions of innocent civilians the USA and its allies have killed since the WWII up until now ... like in Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia, the Balkans, the Middle East, South America and Africa!! To the best of my knowledge the US and its allies proclaim to hold up and defend Christian values except naturally Israel, who's part of the game but is Jewish. Minor detail.
      I just loved this comment - it is very accurate and very much to the point! As
      for terrorism - maybe you should check out the FBI Database? It's a very
      helpful instrument. We see there that (concerning the USA) 6% of all terror
      attacks within the US where attributed to Islamic extremists. The Communists managed a meager 5% and the Jewish extremists scored 7% ... 82% (Eighty Two Percent) of the terror attacks on US soil where committed by ... mainly Christians. One heck of a peaceful breed - LOL.
      Why don't people check the facts first before spouting any nonsense?!

    • @JonathanDeLeon-em4px
      @JonathanDeLeon-em4px 8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      +Bang Junghee God does not require women to wear a hijab which tightly encloses the head of a woman. A loose head covering, which allows the body to loose some heat is all that is required. A tightly enclosed head covering causes overheating and is dangerous in hot weather. Mary, the most blessed and holy of women did not wear a hijab but only a loose head covering.

    If you are a Muslim woman who has to providing for yourself and your child you cannot cover your face in this Western business world we are living in. There are other things we are giving up for Allah. Allah seeing with His heart into our hearts. May we praying for one another. In Islam there are so many different levels, is it judge with clothing or with our prayers and fasting. If I can have the opportunity to cover myself from head to toes, going to the masjid with every prayer, knowing the Quran from A - Z Alhamdulillah that will be such an honor and blessing...BUT I can't and I don't have the time to do that. May Allah always giving us wisdom and understanding for one another. May we hold fast unto Allah with our prayers, reading the Quran and fasting. Allah changing people in His own time and He is the Master of the Day of Judgement.

      As a Muslim myself, I don't wear hijaab. And if I am honest, I don't believe it is compulsory. You are right. Allah looks into our hearts and judges us from our intentions. Allah wouldn't send a good innocent person to hell for not wearing hijaab. HOWEVER, I do not believe for ONE SECOND that you haven't got the time to pray or fast. WHAT COULD BE MORE IMPORTANT TO YOU? I understand if you are ill and you have a family to take care of, including children. But other than that, Allah and Muhammad (PBUH) should be your priority as a BELIEVER. Not praying is the action of a NON BELIEVER

    And
    [mention, O Muhammad], when your Lord said to the angels, "Indeed, I
    will make upon the earth a successive authority." They said, "Will You
    place upon it one who causes corruption therein and sheds blood, while
    we declare Your praise and sanctify You?" Allah said, "Indeed, I know
    that which you do not know."
    (30)
    And
    He taught Adam the names - all of them. Then He showed them to the
    angels and said, "Inform Me of the names of these, if you are truthful."
    (31)
    They
    said, "Exalted are You; we have no knowledge except what You have
    taught us. Indeed, it is You who is the Knowing, the Wise."
    (32)
    He
    said, "O Adam, inform them of their names." And when he had informed
    them of their names, He said, "Did I not tell you that I know the unseen
    of the heavens and the earth? And I know what you reveal and
    what you have concealed."
    (33)
    And
    [mention] when We said to the angels, "Prostrate before Adam"; so they
    prostrated, except for Iblees. He refused and was arrogant and became of
    the disbelievers.
    (34)
    And
    We said, "O Adam, dwell, you and your wife, in Paradise and eat
    therefrom in [ease and] abundance from wherever you will. But do not
    approach this tree, lest you be among the wrongdoers."
    (35)
    But
    Satan caused them to slip out of it and removed them from that
    [condition] in which they had been. And We said, "Go down, [all of you],
    as enemies to one another, and you will have upon the earth a place of
    settlement and provision for a time."
    (36)
    Then
    Adam received from his Lord [some] words, and He accepted his
    repentance. Indeed, it is He who is the Accepting of repentance, the
    Merciful.
    (37)

    Just as a side remark: for all I know it also says somewhere in the Qur'an that there is no force in religion. Whatever one does - it's between him/her and God. In other words: it's nobody's business except the women whether they want to wear that piece of cloths on their head or not!! What's these obsession by men (the same goes for Judaism) to tell women all the time what to do, how to behave, where to be or not to be and how to dress?! Why don't men in general just mind their own business????

    • @ESO529
      @ESO529 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      @Ballad Bay: Can you support your argument? For all I know it's in ALL cultures about the same (check the statistics). BUT fact is that in Islamic societies rape is highly under-reported because of 1) shaming the victim, 2) blaming the victim and 3) often punishing the victim or 4) killing the victim legally or illegally (so called honor killings). So ... no ... remember that in pointing a finger at others ... three always point back at you ;-)!

    • @ESO529
      @ESO529 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      @Ballad Bay: you're absolutely right; this was not meant as an excuse but just to clarify matters. My country of residence right now is Egypt and am involved in social projects. Believe me, the real rape rate has nothing to do with those reported! It's a shame and the thinking is still the way it was in Europe (my origin) some 40 years ago. BUT - fact is also, that those who wear the hijab as well as the niqab get equally molested on the streets. So - no, it is not a protection at all. Sadly the mindset of a certain group of men needs desperately to be changed. The only possible way is through education like it is done in the West. Yet - in both cultures it is still rampant. So ... what to do? Lock up all the men ... ;-)?!

    • @balladbay2037
      @balladbay2037 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes that is true there will always be shameful ppl like that but i meant as compared to other countries the western countries tend to have a higher rate of rape than other countries in , early 2010s every 7 sec a woman was raped in a western country . And this was just few years ago , however my frnd it is sometimes strange that y do women wear such short clothes even though they know that there will be ppl who will not respect them and in the end that 's what happens.

    33: 59 O prophet, tell your wives, your daughters, and the wives of the believers that they shall lengthen their garments. Thus, they will be recognized (as righteous women) and avoid being insulted. GOD is Forgiver, Most Merciful.
    Even in this verse there is no mentioning of hijab or cover your head or face. Lengthen your dress simply means no mini skirts.

      +Asiyah Wright Mary, the mother of Jesus never wore the veil, yet she is the most holy and blessed of all women. God does not women to cover their faces. The human face is what identifies us as human. To hide behind a veil or burkha is an insult to God and humanity.

    • @mikkyahya
      @mikkyahya 9 ปีที่แล้ว

      +Asiyah Wright, Maybe in countless places like men made laws, but not in Quran. If Allah so willed to order the women to cover their head or hair, nothing would have prevented him from doing so. Allah does not run out of words. Allah does not forget, Allah did not order the women to cover their head or hair.Again I strongly believe in the freedom of choice, if any women would like to cover them selves its their choice, just don't make it a religious law. Allah would not tolerate if anybody make any addition to his given law. In 33:52 Allah is telling Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) "Beyond the categories described to you, you are enjoined from marrying any other women, nor can you substitute a new wife (from the prohibited categories), no matter how much you admire their beauty. You must be content with those already made lawful to you. GOD is watchful over all things." Young lady all your answers are in Quran, you don't have to look anywhere. Just imagine how would somebody propose you to marry if you are all covered. These are all Jews and Arabs traditions, they are famous for mistreating their women.

      (59) O Prophet! Tell thy wives and daughters, and the believing women, that they should cast their outer garments over their persons (when abroad): that is most convenient, that they should be known (as such) and not molested. And Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful. [al-Ahzaab 33:59]
      (interpretation of the meaning):
      “O Prophet! Tell your wives and your daughters and the women of the believers to draw their cloaks (veils) all over their bodies (i.e. screen themselves completely except the eyes or one eye to see the way). That will be better, that they should be known (as free respectable women) so as not to be annoyed. And Allaah is Ever Oft‑Forgiving, Most Merciful”
      ----------------------------------------------------------
      Allaah says (interpretation of the meaning):
      “And tell the believing women to lower their gaze (from looking at forbidden things), and protect their private parts (from illegal sexual acts) and not to show off their adornment except only that which is apparent (like both eyes for necessity to see the way, or outer palms of hands or one eye or dress like veil, gloves, headcover, apron), and to draw their veils all over Juyoobihinna (i.e. their bodies, faces, necks and bosoms) and not to reveal their adornment except to their husbands, or their fathers, or their husband’s fathers, or their sons, or their husband’s sons, or their brothers or their brother’s sons, or their sister’s sons, or their (Muslim) women (i.e. their sisters in Islam), or the (female) slaves whom their right hands possess, or old male servants who lack vigour, or small children who have no sense of feminine sex. And let them not stamp their feet so as to reveal what they hide of their adornment. And all of you beg Allaah to forgive you all, O believers, that you may be successful”

    there are many interpretations about hijab in islamic scholars. Some of them say that it is not an obligatory, some says it is an obligatory. If the muslim woman want to wear hijab, it doesnt't mean that they are oppressed. They wear it for worshiping to God. It is similar with the command to pray, fasting during ramadhan, zakah, etc. That women wear hijab, not because they are afraid if she doesnt wear hijab, other muslim will punish her. There is no verse about punishment of woman who doesn't wear hijab. but, if you see people punish a woman who doesnt wear hijab, That is not a Quranic teaching.

    • @ribaltarabah845

      maybe what they mean by oppression is possibly oppressing yourself. It is not as easy as it may seem, a lot of people dnt choose to wear it so writing a single paragragh is just not going to be that effective.

    Some Catholic orders no longer wear a veil just as many no longer wear habits. I have women friends who do not wear a hijab. I believe one's relationship with a higher power is personal. This is why I am not a fan of religions that have "rules" you must live by. No one religion or belief is better than another. Whether you are a Muslim, a Catholic, a Jew, an Atheist, etc., if there is a God and a heaven and we lead a good life and follow the Golden Rule, God is not going to turn you away, IMHO.

      Did you like to live in a country where have no rules? Without rules life is a mess.
      For example you drive a car but for driving there are rules. If you wouldn't follow them there might be an accident. For our safety rules help us . So my dear rules tells us how we can spend life without any problem and accidents. It is for our safety. Its is not for God .it for our benefits

    I'm not in favor of forcing women to do ANYTHING that they themselves do not wish for themselves. I do not like the hijab, personally, Salafism and Wahabism is destroying Islam; it is molding Islam into something that it, classically, was not. It takes all critical thinking out of religion, when authentic religion promotes critical thought.

      1- First, who are you to talk about Islam and Hijab, i guess you are even not Muslim.ok?
      2- Second, please don't speek about something you don't know, Learn before you speak please. You like the Hijab or you don't like it it's not your business, It's the business of muslims: The Hijab was mentioned in the holy Quran:
      Allah the Almighty said (in Surat Al-'Ahzab [verses 59]) :
      {O Prophet, tell your wives and your daughters and the women of the believers to bring down over themselves [part] of their outer garments. That is more suitable that they will be known and not be abused. And ever is Allah Forgiving and Merciful.}
      3- Third, Islam don't force anyone to do something, even to come to Islam, no one force you, you are free, but we warn you before coming to Islam, think about it seriously, because the time when you become a Muslim, you have to obey your god Allah the Almighty.
      Allah the Almighty said (in Surat Al-'Ahzab [verses 36]) :
      {It is not for a believing man or a believing woman, when Allah and His Messenger have decided a matter, that they should [thereafter] have any choice about their affair. And whoever disobeys Allah and His Messenger has certainly strayed into clear error.}
      and
      Allah the Almighty said too (in Surat Al-'An`am [verses 162-163]) :
      { Say, "Indeed, my prayer, my rites of sacrifice, my living and my dying are for Allah , Lord of the worlds.(162) No partner has He. And this I have been commanded, and I am the first [among you] of the Muslims." (163) }.
      --------> LOOK AT THE VERSE 163: {And this I have been commanded}.
      So every Muslim HAVE TO obey when he's commanded by his god Allah the Almighty. And not only wearing the Hijab, but all his life and death is for Allah the Almighty.

      I don't know if you're speaking to me but sorry to rain our your tirade but I AM MUSLIM. I guess because I dont have an Arab username you ASSUMED that im not Muslim which would illustrate your dogmatic way of thinking on Islam. I for one never said anything about a hijab. As far as warning someone before coming to Islam you sound crazy. What are warning someone about Islam for like its a gang??? You are a prime example of whats wrong with the so called Ummah today. Save all of the throwing scripture around to try and prove your point for yourself. Worry about yourself and your deeds instead of reminding other muslims of their duties to The Creator. Check yourself brother because you don't have no hold on Islam and neither does ANYONE else on this planet. You really sound crazy and like an extremist which seems to be ruling the Ummah today. This is apart of prophecy. You really dont want to go there because I'll check you on the history part which im quite sure you dont want to deal with.

      SalamuAlaykom Brother in Islam, well thank you a lot for your advices, and i really apreciate that, but my brother you are misunderstanding a lot of thing here: and i'll explain to you brother:
      1- First, i was not talking to you, but to the other person "Mohammed Mughal". so can you don't misunderstand people please?
      2- Second, i'm HAPPY that you are Muslim, but like i see and like you said, you are agree with "Mohammed Mughal" and all the wrong things that he said about Hijab. SO YOU TALKED ABOUT HIJAB.
      So you mistake about the username, i don't judge people with their username but with their speech, and you say that you are muslim but your speech and your opinions are far away from what muslim did.
      3- Third, stop telling people rude words and judge them like that, because i'm not crazy and i'm not an extremist like you said, thank you for the earlier advice but i think you should too take a look on that advice and "Check yourself brother".
      4- I'm not here to "hold on Islam" like you said, but because i'm Muslim and i worry about my Islam, i will stop any person to touch to it or to Say SOMETHING STUPID or WRONG about Islam, like your friend did, Thank you.
      SalamuAlaykom.

      "Save all of the throwing scripture around to try and prove your point for yourself." Islam is all about using the quran as evidence for what u say. Why would Allah send it down just for it to be read at home but not shared?
      The way u write makes it seem like u're more worried about how people see u than Islam. Brother I tell u, fear Allah. For in the end only He will judge u.
      And remember, there is nothing between muslims except brotherhood so when u type back, how about u actually try to sound like u're brothers?

    i do agree of course , however, unfortunately, he understood one verse wrong, with my respects to yusuf estes, the quran mentions clearly the hijab as to cover the most seductive body parts of women , but not the face nor the hands, as some women do, it's only their own invention or version or understanding of hijab, but the quran states clearly the hijab as it should be , therefore, there is no need to cover the face, the verse that is mentioned in surat al nour is about covering the chest not the face "khimar" as some people understand, because before and after islam, women in arab cultures used to wear cloth that covered the face and the head yet uncovering the chest!!! ( which is weird!!!) thus Allah specifically mentioned that women should cover their chest, not the face, it is commonly misunderstood UNFORTUNATLY! AND WHAT I SAID IS CONFIRMED BY MANY AND MANY AUTHENTIC MUSLIM SCHOLARS OUT THERE!!!

      @maryam5759 9 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Abdur Rahman that was a funny comment, then they should cover the face and hand and uncover eveything else, what you mentioned is not logic in any religion nor cultures! there is something called the niqab, which is covering the face, people can actually weir anything, or nothing with niqab, i was surprised to find out, but after lots of research you find out that khimar as mentioned in the quran is VS niqab because khimar means to cover the body with a wide clothing which could not be transparent and not the face as it is considered to be, and niqab is all abouty the face, and no! i don't think that guys should stare at women's hands nor face either to think that they're pretty or not, the believers (males) should also commit to Islam and implement the verse that is in sourat nour right before the verse of hijab , i let you find out brother in islam :)

    • @brigadierharsh1948
      @brigadierharsh1948 9 ปีที่แล้ว

      Covering the face is obligatory. This is known from an authentic Hadith which states that when the commandment to wear hijab came down the women ripped their aprons and used the pieces the ripped off to cover their faces.

    • @maryam5759
      @maryam5759 9 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Answering Disbelievers i would have to disagree "answering disblievers" the scholars have different views about it, it is not obligatory, what's obligatory is hijab as mentioned in the quran, also the hadith, other claims are viewed differently , also, women in old arab tribes covered their faces already , their chest however was exposed, it was the culture and tradition before surat hijab,the goal of hijab that we all ignore to look at detailed trivial things, the goal is modesty, when you no longer consider modesty of women OR men then opression begins because there is no logic in what many muslims says, that been said, i really believe that people should cease relying only on scholars, Allah gave us minds! we need to understand and READ the quran, there is nothing hard about it!

    • @brigadierharsh1948
      @brigadierharsh1948 9 ปีที่แล้ว

      Mariee Yuki Please don't take this an an insult because I mean it in the kindest way possible. I am concerned with the mentality of "lets all read the Quran for ourselves and ignore what the scholars say", I think its dangerous ad is not how Islam works. Your average Muslim isn't qualified to say how the Quran should be interpreted. Also I don't agree that having people cover themselves is oppressive, its just cloth, it isn't hurting anyone. All the evidences that I have seen show that covering the face is obligatory, you are right that there is some difference of opinion as to covering the face, but I find that it is the scholars who support covering the face who have the evidence to back it up. You are thinking along the lines of one of the "Islamic reformist" people and that concerns me.

      And this is Islam's failing. It doesn't seek a higher ideal for humanity.
      Shouldn't men be able to look upon women's faces without abusing them? That is an ideal.
      However, Islam doesn't seek that. instead, its solution is just to hide women because men can't be trusted.

      Because on this, my second visit, I saw women wearing chadors and looking very unhappy while men strutted around in tight t-shirts, jeans and shiny belt buckles.
      Then I saw a notice saying "Islamic dress must be worn". I saw red!!! What is 'Islamic dress' for men, then? If chador is 'Islamic' for women, then that long, loose Pakistani garb is the minimum men should be wearing, isn't it?

We need to be able to view every nook and cranny of her body when shes wearing those skin tight clothes. That way, she obviously isnt treated like an animal for the pleasure of men. Sure, even though she'll be used as a sex toy to sell products, that doesnt mean shes not respected. A woman is always respected so long as she DOESNT choose to cover herself and present her brain instead of her tits and ass. Wait...it almost sounds like your the ones who are treating women like cattle.

Why is the burden of avoiding sexual misconduct all on women?

    People questioning isn't wearing hijab make you hot, difficult,uneasy,uncomfortable..?
    Hmm how about women wearing sleeveless and short dress,walking under hot sun,or in cold weather? Isn't they feel uncomfortable?
    With full covered dress+hijab,we got natural skin hydrating sweat, and protection from UV ray and cold air.. :)
    We dont have to wear like a tent (that's only culture).the main gist is,cover your body,head n chest properly,in any design,and style as wish. :)

    Yes it is true, Muslims cover their heads more than Christian women. I have to be frank to say that not all, but a lot of Muslims do handle the wearing of the hijab in a way that is legalistic, and in my opinion that is not good. But I will not single out Muslims on legalism, because I see it even in my church.
