We should thanks jesse for bringing a Muslim to ask him about all the questions that come to people minds about islam. I like the format, he didn't come to debate, but communicate. True communication between races and religion and against misconsceptions that lead to hate is the way to have peaceful world. We should appreciate both Muhammed ali and jesse it was abviously a spontaneous interview where even the format wasn't agreed on.

no, because in the Quran Allah speaks about how if someone does not know something then there is no sin upon them. One of Allah's names is the Al-Muqsit meaning the most fair and just. you wont be held accountable for something you do not know. like for example if the correct and clear message of islam was not conveyed to you or you died as a disbeliever never knowing about islam, then you would not be thrown into Hell for that, as it would unfair and unjust. instead you will be tested with a different test on the day of judgement. And if you are sincere and try and learn but fall into a sin that you learnt thinking it was the truth from your lord then that too is something that you cant be held accountable for. unless ofcourse you were negelctful and didnt bother to learn then you have no excuse because you spent your time doing meaningless stuff when you could have been studying and learning. @@Bb-pw1zi

    • @NonyaBznz

@@Bb-pw1zi It still remains YOUR answer. However, If you are basically trying to say that you are judged based on what you are destined to choose without your free will then that's not how it works. Allah does not force you to choose one thing. Allah gave you the choice and the free will, but he already knows in his divine wisdom what choice you are going to make so he made it your destiny. Allah says clearly in Quran that he granted us the freedom to choose the path to Heaven or Hell. We are NOT forced.

Yes when you find out where the sun sets in that muddy pool at night, let me know.
@davidz3460 Thanks for calling Muhammad a five year old and for finally giving Him a well deserved award for utterly stupidly and wickedness, even lies. Did you know that every Tasfir for over 400 years after croaked believed and wrote that the sun sat in a puddle? Thanks also for calling them all a 5 year old, something I wouldn't even do.
He is a hadith by a very reliable writer to further confirm what you would like to think is a metaphor,so apparently the award is yours, wouldn't you say?
There is a hadith by Abu Dharr which has Muhammad making similar claims concerning the sunset:
“Abu Dharr (one of Muhammad’s close companions) was with Muhammad during the sunset. Muhammad asked him: ‘Do you know, O Abu Dharr where this sun sets?’ He answered; ‘God and His apostle know better.’ Muhammad said: ‘It sets in a spring of slimy water’” - al-Zamakhshari, The Kahshaf (3rd Edition, Vol. 2, p. 743, 1987) [1]
      6) Al-Tabari and al-Baydawi both understood this passage in a literal sense.
“The sun sets in a slimy spring: that is, a well which contains mud. Some of the readers of the Quran read it, ‘…a hot spring’, thus the spring combines the two descriptions. It was said that Ibn ‘Abbas found Mu’awiya reading it (as) hot. He told him, ‘It is muddy,’ Mu’awiya sent to Ka’b al-Ahbar and asked him. ‘Where does the sun set?’ He said in water and mud and there were some people. So he agreed with the statement of ibn al-‘Abbas. And there was a man who composed a few verses of poetry about the setting of the sun in the slimy spring.”- al-Baydawi, The Lights of Revelation (p. 399)
Al-Tabari went so far as to say the pool where the sun sets contains lime (see the Concise Interpretation of Tabari, p. 19 of part 2)[1]
Just because one cannot believe Mu8hammad was that big of a liar and that stupid ,doesn't mean it isn't true.wouldnt you say? thanks

Until when he reached the setting of the sun, he found it to set in a miry fount; and hard by he found a people. Here we see he found the sun in a actual puddle, and the idea of appearance is non existent.

as a former christian and now muslim for 30+ years, ive always thought the problem is this concept we have in the Western world of "winning" the debate. I get that as religions discuss things with each other this is the intention going in, but that's the problem: the pre-debate intention is to win. Change the intention: ask questions because you are genuinely curious, genuinely try and find what the truth is, genuinely, and God will make what the truth is as crystal clear as can be.

If he’s the Son, and the Father then shouldn’t he have known the final hour?
All you have to do, to break Christianity is ask simple questions that are raised the by source itself. In The Quran Allah Subhana Wa Tala warns mankind to not be of the losers who will enter hell begging to go back to the world so they could live as Muslims believing in only one God, and worshipping only one God.

Just like you are one with your spirit, soul, and body. Jesus also told us that we had the power to cast demons, but we don't claim to be as powerful as god. Noone said jesus was God, he is of God. You can't truly know God without knowing jesus. You are not fully educated on the trinitybor you would not have these questions. Father alar is a perfect person to explain it.

    • @Hikmah1995

@@wouldntyouliketoknow1496 But you’re heavily contradicting the Bible. Jesus always described himself as a different entity, and the father is described as having a body. For example when in the garden, Adam, and eve hid from the father when they heard his footsteps to cover what they have done.
That alone tells you the father has a body. Jesus himself tell you “for the father is greater than I”
If they’re the same, then why would he say that, and if Jesus is the body of God then how come he says he’s not great.
Seriously bruh the Bible is easily taken apart just like that. This is why Christianity is dying in the west. Come to Islam where God is one. Allah Subhana Wa Tala is free from all. He has no son, and is in need of no one. He created Jesus from just saying the word “be!” Just like he did with Adam Alayhi Salam.
Allah Subhana Wa Tala challenges the Christian belief of Jesus being God by comparing him with Adam in the Quran. Adam’s birth is much greater since he had no mother, or father, but was just created from clay.
Jesus can’t help you, because he couldn’t even help himself, and his blood won’t do anything for you.
Come back to Islam. The religion of true submission to the one, and only creator.

And did you know every human is made up of over 80% dirt? Our human bodies have the same make up as dirt. So adam wasn't special in that sense..god said he was the first man, by we all have the same make up. From dust we were born and dust we will return.

If the first time he had the excuse of being brainwashed, the second time he doesn’t have an excuse to lie about the Quran. Jesse is clearly disingenuous and Islamophobic and ignorant in basic historical facts. The type of questions he asked could only come from a child who only heard about Islam on Fox News.

What he failed to realize is you can’t use a sword or men to deliver spiritual work or renewal. As a Conservative myself, Jesse's questions were elementary and childish. I was disappointed because of the answers, the answers were more logical than expected. Jesse stereotypically went for the jugular and never got there. It'll never happen, although, what he should've asked why is Islam in a bad light here in the West. Because logically, it can't be the religion, people act the way they want to act regardless. Muhammed Ali was incredibly patient, despite Jesse cutting him off and clowning around, Ali took the time to actually explain with the intent of having a conversation. Which is mind-boggling because us Conservatives are big on having talks and discussions. This was not that at all. Jesse needs to grow up, everything we know isn't as they always seem.
