No fucking way. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. I can honestly say this is the last 49ers game among my collection I was actively looking for, but never thought I'd see online. THANK YOU!!!!!!!!
Joe Montana was under constant pressure. The 49ers didn’t even use the shotgun formation. Joe Montana faced elite defenses and defenders that could actually hit the QB low and hard. Joe Montana faced defenses that could actually blitz. Tony Romo says that Patrick Mahomes is the Michael Jordan of the NFL. Michael Jordan took harder hits on the basketball court wearing shorts and a tank.
1:16:30 Dan Fouts day. He gave a speech, got a car, thanked his teammates and his 14 retired. The old Murph at San Diego. When I saw a Chargers game on TV. The United States Marine Corps and Navy Honor Guard coming onto the field. Kenny Stabler talked about him and the meetings they do every year. Dan Fouts was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame class of 1993. Got in his first year of eligibility. Dan's father was the late Bob Fouts who was a fixture on Bay Area radio and television.
I went to a fraternity kegger on the Berzerkly campus in early Fall 1981 and he was the one on the door checking tickets. You had to have been invited and had to have your tickets for beer, or you weren't getting past him. I recognized him when I saw him in the S.I. 1982 Football Preview about a year later.
Of all the Jerry Rice catches and touchdowns, that 96 yarder was his longest one in both categories
Same play that beat the Giants earlier in the year.
Kenny Stabler! His birthday was 12/25. RIP. Kenny!!!
19:39 Jerry rice 96 yard TD
The real 🐐
The longest of his 230 NFL touchdowns
Thank you
@@chrisuncleahmad666 230?
The announcer said it was possible blown coverage when Rice just badly beat his man.

A number of these players faced each other again, playing for the same teams, in Super Bowl 29
49:50 The EPITOME of Joe Montana's greatness. It wasn't a touchdown, but it exemplifies what made him a great qb.

FINALLY!!!!! I've always wanted to see this game YES!!!
Gary Plummer won a Super Bowl with the 49ers in 1994.

Thanks for putting on this game.
Sf strong in this late stretch - a sign of things to come
The ref is great in this game. “Personal fouls on 74 and 71, we are gonna wipe those out but they’re still personal fouls”! Freakn awesome.
This was the last pro game I attended. Tickets were $20. Nice to see the Chargers were chargering even back then.
Jerry’s game speed was unmatched. He just ran away from everyone on the 96TD.
We needed more Ken Stabler on color commentary :)
I’m in the minority when I say I enjoyed the Snake on commentary.
@@jamiejohnson4524 I love The Snake on commentary. I also loved watching him play :) One of the best left-handed QBs ever!
1:48:43 with Rodney Peete and then two future hall of famers with Troy Aikman and Barry Sanders.
WIDE OPEN!!!!!!!!!!!! great call
This was the weakest of their super bowl teams, but they still won a ring.
Interesting that that was only a 3 step drop on the long Rice TD.
I just tuned in to see who replaced Dan Fouts
didn't now Tom Selleck played QB.
Ken Stabler a broadcaster? Lol
Is that Stabler? The only reason why I clicked on the video. Don't want to watch this . RN4L
Ken Stabler was 42 years old at this time and looks like he's 65.
Even when he was playing he looked like he was 65 during the last few years. I mean the guy did love to party with the women.
He never went to bed... alone.
@@redmustangredmustang. Dan Reeves was the same age and he looked 20 Years Older too🤦🏿🤦🏿🤦🏿🤦🏿
I'm 45 and he looks older then my dad
@@kidmack3556 Florida wants to retire.....and move to him.
