This is absolutely amazing. It perfectly tells the listener Caleb's story so far and captures his character. The first track is a wonderful way to start the album. Really captures his sort of innocent yearning for more knowledge. Love the darker bass with the dreamy high notes, they really blend together to show both his dark side and the childhood he never could experience. Track 2 is VERY WELL DONE. JUST WOW. This feels like it would be an exploration track for pokemon or zelda or smth. Very cute sounding, again with the mix of the funky bass line with that nice high melody, and those mechanical noises. Really encapsulates Caleb's relationship with nott. I feel like this would play in his head when he talks to her. Very well done. Track 3 is really an amazing contrast to track 2. It has this really sad melody on the piano in the beginning, and then bringing in those chimes OOH wow. Really kinda shows that dreamy feel, like youre looking back fondly on a childhood memory. Bringing in the bass and cutting out vocals at Jester's quote was a very nice touch, and the ending was beautiful. Legit i cried Track 4 WOO love the tension during Calebs line, and the echo on the fire that plays throughout, just like he still hasnt gotten over it. Again, really cool bass line, its really a bop. the title made me expect something more in a minor key, but it doesnt take away from the track. And that cut on "executioners. we wanted to be" OOOH BOY that was good Track 5 really wow. You did that. Just wow. Its dark, yet it still has that high melody that seems to kinda be calebs motif. living for the vocals and strings. Idk what the vocals are saying but i really dont care its so good. Then that glock halfway through kinda brings back to the dreamy feel from track 3, which makes sense with the reality thing. LOVE the tension, LOVE when the percussion drops, really adds to that feeling of tension. Beautiful ending Track 6. Love the retro feel. I like that the higher motif isnt as prominent here in the beginning. Its very sorrowful and yet has this very inherent feel, especially with the record, piano and glock (?) entrance. Again bass is dope. Percussion is dope. Its obviously a goodbye song, at least to me. Has a kinda jazzy/bluesy feel that i like. Love the piano run near the end Track 7. AH I LOVE THIS INTRO. AMBIENT NOISE WITH MATTS DESCRIPTION? AMAZING GIVE ME MORE. Love the bass. Love the minimal percussion. Again the ambient noise really helps capture the metal image of the dodecahedron. I live for the drop of all lines but ambience and bass for matts quote. Really lets you listen to him and immerse you even more into that mental image. Great job. Track 8. Love the acoustic piano with the insect sounds. Really captures the emotion in calebs quote here. I dont have much else to say for this one, i just really like it Track 9. Really captures the sincerity in the quote. I love the consistent use of Notts quote as the kinda lyrics, very cool, and unexpected, love it. Love the melody and bass line. Also love the pitched up home. Great way to finish off the album So i listened to each song as i typed this out and since im on mobile i couldnt pause to type but ya know whatevs. KEEP WRITING MUSIC YOURE SO GOOD T^T

Caleb may not be my favorite character, I must say is probably the least, but I totally admire the dedication that Liam put into roleplaying, while everyone is at a 100%, Lian is up to 200%, I completely admire that of him and I hope to be at least a tenth of what he is as a player.
It’s important to have a straight man. Others can clown around quite a bit, but Liam tends to help set the stakes and solidify the story - first as Vex and now as Caleb. I agree, I prefer Nott and Jester, but without Caleb, the group would look VERY different. I don’t think we would have even gotten Nott, frankly. So, I agree with you, his role playing is fantastic - and it serves to anchor the rest of the actors.
I just found this today and have listened to it a half dozen times. On my 7th playthrough on Spotify. This has made my day. "Anyone Wanna Hit Off The Dodecahedron" is my fave.
Also I sent this to the Critical Role Twitter also tagging in Liam and all. I'm sure this has been done several times already but it never hurts to do it again for something this amazing.
I've listened to all of your stuff but this one is still my favourite! Dead people tea is amazing as well but Caleb's story is so tragic and you do a wonderful job capturing those powerful moments and extending them into a lasting experience. Truly, beautiful work.
My dude, I clicked on this expecting some really sad soppy music to indulge my soppy mood today but instead I got a reminder of what it means to be hopeful and loved and to find peace. That's Caleb's story. What a pleasant shock to the system. Thank you for melting my heart today.
Track 5 is honestly the best LoFi track I've heard all year. I would not be mad at another Caleb album in the future. Top LoFi album in my entire library right now. Keep up the great work!
I only just stumbled across this and oh wow I LOVE it. The thing that really got me into critical role in the beginning was Nott and Caleb's affection and care for each other, and this captures that so well!!! thank you for making this!!

Caleb may not be my favorite character, I must say is probably the least, but I totally admire the dedication that Liam put into roleplaying, while everyone is at a 100%, Lian is up to 200%, I completely admire that of him and I hope to be at least a tenth of what he is as a player.
Get lost in your character. I'm sure you're a wonderful player and I'd be happy to be your DM! (And agreed! He's incredible)
I absolutely loved this. Big hype in seeing the other characters done. Keep it up, music man.
I just found this today and have listened to it a half dozen times. On my 7th playthrough on Spotify. This has made my day. "Anyone Wanna Hit Off The Dodecahedron" is my fave.
Danke friend!
Also I sent this to the Critical Role Twitter also tagging in Liam and all. I'm sure this has been done several times already but it never hurts to do it again for something this amazing.
Thank you for these. They make me feel strange things. They are so beutiful
Magical things?
This is probably one of my favouite lofi-mixes to listen to while studying or just chilling. The use of the quotes is just amazing
I've listened to all of your stuff but this one is still my favourite! Dead people tea is amazing as well but Caleb's story is so tragic and you do a wonderful job capturing those powerful moments and extending them into a lasting experience. Truly, beautiful work.
I’m having my own existential crisis listening to this. Nice jams but I’m just a sad boi.
I'm only barely through this and I'm already in love. Thanks for sharing!
Thanks for listening!
My dude, I clicked on this expecting some really sad soppy music to indulge my soppy mood today but instead I got a reminder of what it means to be hopeful and loved and to find peace. That's Caleb's story. What a pleasant shock to the system. Thank you for melting my heart today.
Man. You got a new sub, new fan, I'm sending this to everyone I know who watches CR lol
I’ll never get tired of this.
OH MY GOD COUNTRY LOFI FOR FJORD>????? jhkjajksdh hahahahah
I haven't Yee'd my last Haw yet, so you better believe it's in the works.
Please. I'd love you forever. @@autumnorange613
I think fjord needs a country playlist 😂
@@alainaperlman4806 It's in the works, cowpoke!
@@autumnorange613 Fjord has, though
Track 5 is honestly the best LoFi track I've heard all year. I would not be mad at another Caleb album in the future. Top LoFi album in my entire library right now. Keep up the great work!
Much Love, thank you!
This is seriously amazing!
Ate we gonna see any more of these?
I only just stumbled across this and oh wow I LOVE it. The thing that really got me into critical role in the beginning was Nott and Caleb's affection and care for each other, and this captures that so well!!! thank you for making this!!
now im waiting for a chaos mix for jester or a yoga chill mix for cad
Caleb is my *favorite*. I only wish there were more of this, for the rest of his journey. Thank you for this, Orange!
Two of my favorite things to listen to in youtube mixed into one: CR and lofi music, love it!
Wow, you know, I was just saying the other day how I wished there was more Matt Mercer in my Chill Lofi Beats to Chill/Study too.
Gah why didn't I know this sooner, this is mega awesome! I can't stop repeating that "Shine bright circus man" line, amazing job. Can't wait for the rest of the Mighty Nein tracks, you got a new sub ;)
Welcome!
"No, we're on the planet." Such a cute funny moment!
This is absolutely incredible, I am immediately in love and this has become my background music while I work on writing all my D&D stuff. I may be a little inept here, is there a way to directly buy this album? I didn't see it on the bandcamp or google play store. I would love for you to keep making more!
13:55 wow, chills all over man.
Never had the time for Critical Role but that song was emotive
the more i listen to it the more i like it :)
great vibe
Thank you friend!
This turned me into a lo-fi fan! This is absolutely incredible.
I'm glad! Find more! There's lots of awesome LoFi out there!
This is fantastic!!! I’m listening to it as I design a Caleb sticker 😊
:O Please share a link to it if you post/sell it!

I've been listening to a lot of Lo-Fi over the past couple of months, and I always found the ones that tied in voice clips to be the most emotionally deep and entrancing. Creating Lo-Fi tracks centered around Critical Role is honestly one of the best ideas I've ever seen come to fruition. I would love to see more of these for the other characters of The Mighty Nein!
You betta' believe more m9 is on the way!
Please do one for Molly and the rest of the Mighty Nein!!!
I got you
Caleb is my favorite character from scene one.
This is good vibe, man.
He's lit. (Pun intended)
I've had for a while in my head the most tragic, sad and heroic death for Caleb and I kinda hope it happens(?
I love this, hope to hear more from the other characters
Who would you most like to hear next?
This is now my most favorite LoFi on the planet
Love this idea!! CR is ripe with inspiration and quotes to flow off of
Danke! I thought the same!
The music and sound clip at 5:23 hits me in the feels every time. Just overwhelming longing, regret, sorrow, nostalgia... poor Caleb
Such stuff should be illegal, i
I am sad
Third track made me so sad and fourth made me regret everything, :-;
Try wonderful Little seed of joy and chaos. A little less sad-
@@autumnorange613 i did! And i added it all on spotify! I love your work, thank you so much for it. It soothed me when i felt anxious and cheered me up! You are such a gem and a blessing. ^^
ok, "If Only You Knew The Horrible Things I've Done" is SO BEAUTIFUL! Every single time I listen to it, I'm stuck by the amazing rhythms you've acheived with the original dialogue. it's just so 😙👌 * chef's kiss*
my specific favorite parts are the "eventually he wanted to test our allegiance" - like I'm SURE there's a triplet in there, and I love it so much
Please do this for every character!
In the works!
This is inspiring so many sad raps flying through my head right now. I really wanna write something for the opening track.
Do it. Record it, and send it to me! autumnorangelofi@gmail.com
@@autumnorange613 I definitely will. Kinda want to use the second one too haha. I'll send both.
Aww fuck, now I have ideas for Shine Bright, Circus Man too. At this rate I'm gonna send you the whole EP with vocals hahaha
