With the colour they used in AC 3, they made it look darker and gives off the feeling that something happened at the Homestead. Rogue... Does not have colours I like to see at the Homestead :/
Actually the snow is better in Ac 3. There is much more deep snow, and they all look better in 3. What rogue does have is the snow particles falling from the sky. 3 also does have It (If It is raining in the winter Season), but rogue is better. Still, between Ac 3, 4 and rogue, 3 have the best Textures and attention to detail.
god I miss Altair's chase / combat theme, I can't believe its been nearly 10 years since the first AC. Thank you for adding that, brings back so much memories
That's because Rogue was released with the intent of being a last gen exclusive, a last effort to milk the ACIII + ACIV Naval setting before moving on to the Unity engine. The PC version came at a much later date, I believe six months after its initial release. Ergo, ACIII's graphics had Nvidia-exclusive effects and graphics while ACRo was a direct port of the PS3/360 version in a more positive sense.
I couldn't watch more than four minutes of this video, holy shit. The acoustic music mixed with this calm, nostalgic ambience, making me remember of all the villagers and their struggles to lift this place, is just too much. Anxiety hit me like a truck now, dude, I should report this video. Great work, it's just too much for me. That fucking painting being put on the wall, Jesus Christ, how did I cry so much for something so stupid. The flag that was gifted, the marriage proposal, the mining, THAT DAMN CHURCH, fuck. I love all of this, man.
The Davenport Homestead is my favorite Assassin Hideout in the series. Building it up in III, getting to know the villagers and their stories. It truly felt like a home to me. Rogue made me so nostalgic for III, my only regret is it couldn't be longer And that the Homestead is completely locked outside the map with the exception of those two sequences. I would have loved if there was a chance to free roam it in normal play. Maybe a brief cinematic of a broken Achilese should Shay visit it in the end game. But alas, most of their resources were spent on Unity, which I personally found to be a major disappointment.
It's only a shame that Ubisoft had decided to do away with Connor in favor of Haytham and Edward. Though he was a rather boring and childishly naive character, he was certainly a breath of fresh air as compared to romantic, cunning and snarky ones like Ezio & Arno, or Edward and Jacob. Hell they even tried giving him a bad ending before they retconned it with the recently released comic books.
I found Conner very interesting. Though perhaps it's just because I see a bit of myself in him, so I relate to him better. I'm just disappointed we never got a proper conclusion to his story. It seems since Ezio Ubisoft has basically given up on following their characters to the end. Except for Edward, who's death was essential to Haythams story, Connor, Aveline, Arno, and the Frye Twins were basically ignored after their games came out. I just want to know what happened to them, who did they marry, who were their kids, how did they die? It doesn't have to be a game, but I want them to get closure. At least we now know a bit more about Connor, with that new comic that came out a few months ago. But it just made me crave more.
Okay but what I don't get is why they bothered to replace the stables and not add horses. Like, I get we have ship for transportations but it's not like the horses were so complex and difficult that they needed to be replaced. It just feels weird to see the homestead with a house and 'later' suddenly it's a stable.
For Assassin's Creed III, it was an oversight. For Assassin's Creed Rogue, it was related to the fact that there were no rideable horses for games after Black Flag under the Anvil Engine. No one knows why.
This is a perfect example of "content" that should be uploaded in TH-cam, I'm just dissapointed that you're not getting enough subs for what you're doing here. Keep up the good work🙂

Well the player outside in the Animus is someone working for Abstergo and they've been manipulating history to make the Templars look like the heroes, so who knows, maybe it was all fake memories made to sway people to the Templar side.

@@Letsgoyotes The templar aspect is actually one of the selling points of it for fans of the series. Exelent video.
Is ac rogue on max settings ?
Yes. The PC version of Rogue is a port of the 360/PS3 version and uses none of ACIII/IV's graphical enhancements.
Ac3 better
Lem Hemsweoth haha
+Lem Hemsweoth AC3 is better than the trash known as Rogue *there fixed it*
Rogue is better
First couple seconds cracked me up lol
Cool
Do Ac4 Vs Ac Rogue Abstergo!
I'll consider it, but right after I do ACIII VS ACII Abstergo.
music?
I'd put the music list in the description but I'm too busy at the moment. Is there any particular part you want to know about?
Kaine852 no not really, I just wanted to know what song was playing in the beginning that's all, but besides that awesome game comparison tho
Short Reunite Long Goodbye - Tyranny of King Washington. It's been ripped by Kosappi Uni and is a soundtrack from the Washington DLC. Link = th-cam.com/video/CY2RDaMMaF8/w-d-xo.html
Kaine852 thank you very much
Just finally meet with Achilles !!! xD
Assassin's Creed 3 on PS4 please =(
Rouge music assassins presence
Tab menu music
Музыка на уровне! 😎
Is that the remastered ac 3?
The original ACIII release.
@@Kaine852 but ac 3 more better graphic then ac rogue goodjob ubisoft 2012
No I just didn't think you would reply if I asked on that video which I did but I asked on this video because I thought you wouldn't reply to me on the other video. Can you answer my question though?
Anyways, you don't press a button in the mission to get the bow back. It's a very random and unreliable way to reverse the effects of the glitch via resetting while it saves after the mission. This one rarely works. The pinned top comment thread on the Assassin's Creed Remove Bow/Weapons video shows another way of getting your bow back.
damn because of one shitty assassin goes crazy and joins the templar and kills achilles family of assassin i feel bad for achilles
PcU ikr but shay was right at some points ـ
Because of Achilles lack of foresight, logic and blind fixation on the First Civilization artifacts the entire city of Lisbon was cratered.
Atleast connor restored everything
What...?
Nah, the colonial assassin is the shitty one, until connor restored it back
Ac Rouge is Better
Played ac3
Ya
True. Because Rogue has even better story. But wierd thing is that. 3 and rogue has different enemies's combat system and yet both of them are in same timeline.
Wontmare The Nightmare its not in the same timeline
*Rogue
thx
Ubisoft should remake the third.
Unpopular opinion here!
I think that Ac3 is a very good game and black flag is shit
Friendly T-60 armor i think their both shit
ac3 is amazing game
Amen
whoa whoa whoa, goddamnit bro
3, 4 and rogue are all awesome
How come Achilles a tiny short man in 3 but a tall big man in rogue
Because he was crippled in the ending of Assassin's Creed Rogue by Haytham Kenway. Also, old age, shame and limping can shrink a man.
Never played rogue, because it was very strangley a Xbox exclusive
Wilmo Wildcat32 Rogue is for Xbox 360, PS3, and PC
Alex .P Oh well shit, idk why I thought it was just for Xbox lol Ohhhhh I had just a PS4 at the time of its release. Thats why I couldnt play it, nvm lol
Shay>connor
Connor's better...
@Muhsin Shah but connor is boring, shay is better
Connor is machine
connor is more interesting
@@edd1835 Ezio is boring.
ac3 was so shit i mean check the ship systems out its way better to drive a ship in ac rogue then in ac3
well yea because ac3 was the first game that ubisoft used their new engine anvilnext........that and the fact that most of ac3 was focused on land rather than on sea
3 is not shit
@@vprebz9254 the rest was good besides the ship system the water looked like crap and you couldn't do much with it it was not exactly open world
