@BronzeFelix Yeah, sometimes the audio is not synch with what is happening. Some hidden blades counters (the dual one I think) are just wrong because it requires the pivot blade that Connor has and so he's attackingwith nothing in his hands, also if you do the idle animation during combat, Edward will make the same animation as Connor with the blade that turns, but since he doesn't have it, he just have the hand empty
I personally prefer rogue over black flag because I get to play as a cool Irish protagonist fighting for English control in the cold atmosphere of the north Atlantic, but ac3's combat is perfection
The answer is that they are all the same, all you showed off was the different finisher animations. the actual combat was identical for all three games. Mechinallicy it was as boring as dirt, press one button, enemies attacks press one button then choose your flavor of execution.
@@L3NSTheThirdEye I never said i hated it. I enjoyed it when i played these games even though i knew how simple it was. The thing is the animations are doing basically all the work though.
Mhm While it is pretty and entertaining to watch, the game is literally holding your hand and there’s no satisfaction cause it literally is easy asf, no challenge. Has to be my least liked combat in the series, ac 1 or 2 were better because combo kills don’t exist (acb and and acr unfortunately implemented it) and there are some cool mechanics in these two (especially ac1 who has the second best combat behind origins in my opinion)
Ac 3 animation are always smooth. Black flag and rogue often ended up wompy
Even in terms of sound since 4 and rogue borrow a lot of assets from 3.. The audio can be out of place when performing certain executions

Unarmed - Edward
Hidden blades - Shay
Swords - Edward
Rifle - Connor
Heavy axe - Shay
Pistols - Edward
Rope darts- Connor
AC 3 makes my nuggets tremble 🥶
Ac3: combat
Ac4: Exploration
Ac rogue: side quest

Ac3 is the best
In my opinion, assassin's Creed III always has the best combat, but I also do like unity's combat a lot
Ac revelations had the best fighting animations
both
Black flag!

Not everyone hates those game's combat. Everyone has their own perspectives

Ac3 combat is what combat in the ac game should be older. ac combat is not bad, but it was confusing
Ac2 combat is the best
