@Sidnei Silva Pre downgrade unity was the best looking game for me. But even after the downgrade , Unity has insane graphics . I mean , go inside a building and see the details IT IS SO FABULUS .Origins had missing frames but better enviroment (which is normal since Unity takes place in a city while origins takes place is , what i may call it , world with different cities.
AC Unity has better lighting, textures, color, etc. Looks smooth. Origins have a better range and more quality on nature like water, plants, and rocks. Syndicate...well...Jacob's hat is nice.
Many ppl complained about Unity's bugs and crashes, but I had recently upgraded my PC so it played smooth as butter and gorgeous here.. until the mandatory "fix" patches downgraded and reduced its capabilities. Ubisoft should allow the fullest range of hardware tweaking options the same way Rockstar does, so that high-end players aren't forced to suffer backwards b/c cheap-ass Syndicate players wanted to play on older machines.
Well I'll have to disagree that unity has better lighting it's to bright for me in game and then if you turn the brightness down it's a hot mess I personally thought ac syndicate had better lighting but that's just me unity dose have good textures and color but it's just a little to bright the clothe texturee just don't feel good enough in unity Origins well... I really see no improvement from syndicate exsept the whater and animals but that's just me so don't get mad it's just my pesos opinion

I really enjoyed Unity!! The scenery and a LOT more! I felt sad when people were saying it was shit! I just didn't understand why... I haven't experienced any kind of glitches or bugs on Unity either. But I really did not enjoy syndicate because of the fighting and that the story was very slow at times. My Gawd!! it takes forever to kill someone fist to fists! And where did the swords go??? Also, you weren't able to use the hidden blade freely... That's all. Love Evie Fryer too. I found unity very easy and the only entertaining thing was the nostradamus enigma, I wanted Thomas de Carneillon's outfit sooo bad and after that nothing.. But I enjoyed playing it. Origins looks awesome, at least I hope so I can't wait to buy it. I want Connor back so bad
In my opinion Origins has the best draw distance of any AC game but the character model and outfit of Bayek and parkour animations need some polish before release.

With all the problems unity had at launch aside, you can't deny how good the game looks, I can't speak for Origins at the moment but I do think unity is the best looking AC from the ones I played, which is all besides Origins.
Unity probabilly have the best graphic of the entire AC saga ( Horizon's graphic is similar, but a little more better). Ubisoft decrease the graphic in Syndicate and Origins because is more easy to optimize for consoles. ( sorry for possible errors in the text, but i'm italian)

Unity looks amazing, i really love how they showed france's beauty, i also loved Syndicate but it was a bit less colourfull for me, then there's Origins, wich looks just bloody lovely, i fell in love with AC4 for it's fauna, it's beautifull sea, and then the fantastic combination of certain moments like a storm in the middle of havanna, and with origins, you really get that ac4 vibe, i'm really excited for origins.
Well considering Victorian London has always been portrayed dreary with all the smoke from so many industrial machines burning with their weather, it was never meant to be *the most colorful*, but the animations and characters were very life-like. With the exception of Desmond (idk what happened between AC-AC3!) Ubisoft has always improved in that area.

Unity is now perfectly playable they fixed most of the issue's, downpoint is the 6.5 GB patch, but for the masterpiece it is anyday! And the dead kings dlc is completely free! For newcomers to the series and next gen AC experience! Unity for sure

Only real difference is Unity had some truly breathtaking realistic lighting which still hasn't seen replicated in anything else. It suffered massively with frame rate issues due to this however hence why they downgraded it for future projects. Origins obviously looks better than Synidcate but you would hope so with it being newer. Origins with the extra lighting effects of Unity would look astounding but expect would only run well on high end PC's
Syndicate had the best atmosphere including the breathtaking emphasis on rains and night mode ,unique and great story , very less bugs and gives good fps unlike Unity (which also had a rushed average story) and also a bigger map with transportation along with fast travels . Definitely the most underrated ac game.
I don't really see that big a differences in them,. Syndicate admittedly looks slightly worse than the others, but not by much. Although Unity's effects still blow me away, I can't explain why but it's light and fabric effects are just marvellous
0:22 watching that view around Arno really made me miss Assassin's Creed 2's world construction effect. That one I liked best. Better than all the ones that came after it.
I am not hoping for some drastic changes but I am sure they will improve the character model and outfit graphics of Bayek and some other minor graphical things (like parkour animations) before release.
ACVideos or worse, they probably amped it up for people like you to praise it, keep in mind origins is played on the xbox x and on a 4k tv at E3, not many 12 year olds can afford that, so the game will probably look average, to the average gamer.
KiiNG 561 Unity and Syndicate had NPCs popping up from the ground 10 meters in front of the character, horrible texture pop-in and ran at 14 FPS when they were first presented to the public? No, they didn't. The only game I am aware of them keeping the graphical fidelity the same is Watchdogs 2, and even then it might be just because I haven't done any research on it and don't know if they downgraded it or not. There is nothing wrong with giving game companies shit, they are supposed to improve and impress the consumer. Give them shit and hold them hostage with your wallet, see how fast they improve. Unfortunately not enough people understand this concept nowadays.
This might be late but imo when I played it I never felt like an assassin and the characters were boring and so was the game I found Unity a lot better.
All I want from a AC game is blacksmiths, clothiers and etc, not that BS non-immersive menu where you buy weapons and armour. Another thing is a solid character, just one that's all and a place in the map where you can do real parcore not like syndicate where you have a huge gap between every building.
I really do not understand why so much hate on Syndicate. Is still one of the best games in the series in my opinion. It felt so fresh and different, and also had some good stuff from Black Flag. Me and most of the very few which actually played it,have loved it. The others simply hated it because of Unity.

Syndicate is a stereotype and bastardization of the franchise. The problems people have with it aren't exactly obvious. I liked Syndicate, but not as an AC game. Syndicate went against everything I expected from AC tbh.
The combat system sucked and ruined the gameplay for me. Literally the worst combat system in the franchise. Thankfully i could borrow the game from my gf and not waste money buying the damn thing.
I am not even complaining about gameplay or graphics, the gamr itself looks great. I am just worried about the story... If they can make it good. Also the character. Edward amd Shay were the best main protagonists in the series (my opinion), and if I am correct, those two games were made by the same people, that work on Origins. So I have big hopes for this game. Joseph Rosas I mean, I liked their personality. There was no special backstory to Altair joining the brotherhood, and Ezio did it for revenge of his family. But I still didn't like Ezio's personality... Shay, on the other hand, joined the templars through pain and wisdom. Edward seemed most of the time, like he is just a man, that follows "gold path", but there were scenes, where you could see, he is actually a really great man.
The Fleepo well altair was born into the brotherhood so not much of a story a d ezio did it for revenge in the beginning later in brotherhood he did believe in the creed and tried to recreate the assassin's and in the third he seemed wisdom and understanding. I would agree that shay is awesome tho his story and character motivations are really great, I loved him too. although Edward not really because you played the whole game and you weren't even an assassin as much as you were a pirate but the ending was amazing for him
I can't stand the modern tendency to saturate colors and make games shine and look Pixar-like. Unity at times looks photorealistic. The lighting, the shadows, the balanced color palette, the textures... Everything is great. I took some pictures of biuldings and interiors and people believe they are actual places. Too bad the fashion now is lush, candy-looking landscapes and shiny, color-saturated characters.
When u are in the desert with scorching sun everything looks over saturated. Same way syndicate had a grey hue to it due to industrial age. Unity had a brown-grey hue to show the french revolution.
Personally, I like saturation to make the game feel more alive. I want to play a game and feel happy not feel depressed by the sad, grey, starkness of a game.
As an AC fanboy, i play on pc so i get the most out of my experience. I play most assassins creed games on ultra, and some modded shaders with a GTX 1050ti. I believe origins has the best overall graphics out of the three. Unity has nice animations, Origins is a fresh start, with a lot more mechanics, and syndicate....the factories are nice..
My Ps4 pro ran everything goof but unity not so much. However, playing on a 1080ti it's so much better, to was probably buggy on consoles since it was one of the first games ot release on it

I really liked Unity because of the customization though. Like the fact that you could wear every assassins outfits from other games, but also make your own was just so awesome. It’s too bad no one plays it anymore, it’s impossible to play multiplayer unless you got friends cuz no one plays
Words cannot explain my excitement for Origins. I rarely pre-order and I never get the ultimate/gold editions of games...but I'm really considering getting the gold edition of Origins to get the complete experience. It looks so good and I am a huge AC fan

Unity had graphics ahead of its time but what Origins did is yet to be accomplished by any game. The way we could see the distant buildings (example pyramids of Giza) and the desert landscape and colors and dust blowing.....its just an unprecedented achievement in any video game to date. Unity and syndicate can be compared on many ocassions but Origins is the most beautiful game yet. And yes it's better looking than any other gaming franchise as well.

Black Flag was good but i'm not a big fan of sea-battles like in BF & Rogue. It got too corny and long. But who am I.... I just believe they made a story with Ezio and they actually finished it in a nice way. The final scene in Revelations was fantastic. But again, its personal... :)
I played Unity like 160h and Syndicate 90h, Unity's cinematics look so much better and realistic, but the viewing distance and the in-game characters (during free roam) and some buildings look better in Syndicate. I don't like the way Bayek's face look during free roam, it look like Brotherhood graphic to me but the environnement look really fantastic

Syndicate, Unity and Origins were the best ones. Syndicate: had advanced graphics, interesting dlc’s, accurate historical events, a masterpiece of insane quests Unity: Ahead of it’s time. Multiplayer. Stealth is awesome. One of the best parkour Plain F$cling good. Origins: cool cool cool cool cool cool cool cool cool cool cool cool cool cool cool cool cool cool cool cool. It was the last good Assasin’s creed game before the devolved future games.
Syndicate is better than Unity to me. The story is cheesy and bad in both. But as far as just Gameplay and Systems Syndicate opens way stronger and gives you more freedom. The simplified climbing is great too. Unitys parkour is insanely overrated. And the input to Unity is slow, during action and during climbing, which makes Arno do a lot of awkward shit the player didn't intend to due to the bad timing and reactivity of the combat and climbing. That is almost completely gone in Syndicate, which is much more reactive, faster etc. And makes the parkour a smoother experience instead of a repetitive chore. If anything Syndicate could have gone even crazier with the movement, as a problem with all AC games is actually the momentum of the parkour is constantly stopped due to the way the mechanics of it are programmed. There's no real momentum. It's stop, play, pause etc with every motion ultimately. Crazy that they still haven't improved on such glaring weaknesses in the franchise to this day.
AC II still my favourite, after that I've kind of grown a love-hate relationship with the series. I love the concept and the idea behind the games, but there's way too many and they're all too similar to each other.. I've just now started picking them up for 7 bucks each, and now I'm at III.

Unity looks amazing, i really love how they showed france's beauty, i also loved Syndicate but it was a bit less colourfull for me, then there's Origins, wich looks just bloody lovely, i fell in love with AC4 for it's fauna, it's beautifull sea, and then the fantastic combination of certain moments like a storm in the middle of havanna, and with origins, you really get that ac4 vibe, i'm really excited for origins.

Well considering Victorian London has always been portrayed dreary with all the smoke from so many industrial machines burning with their weather, it was never meant to be *the most colorful*, but the animations and characters were very life-like. With the exception of Desmond (idk what happened between AC-AC3!) Ubisoft has always improved in that area.

Unity is now perfectly playable they fixed most of the issue's, downpoint is the 6.5 GB patch, but for the masterpiece it is anyday! And the dead kings dlc is completely free! For newcomers to the series and next gen AC experience! Unity for sure

In my opinion, the graphics of some areas of Unity are better than Syndicate but overall the graphics of Syndicate looks much more polished. Also the draw distance in Unity is very poor.

Only real difference is Unity had some truly breathtaking realistic lighting which still hasn't seen replicated in anything else. It suffered massively with frame rate issues due to this however hence why they downgraded it for future projects. Origins obviously looks better than Synidcate but you would hope so with it being newer. Origins with the extra lighting effects of Unity would look astounding but expect would only run well on high end PC's
Syndicate had the best atmosphere including the breathtaking emphasis on rains and night mode ,unique and great story , very less bugs and gives good fps unlike Unity (which also had a rushed average story) and also a bigger map with transportation along with fast travels . Definitely the most underrated ac game.

I don't really see that big a differences in them,. Syndicate admittedly looks slightly worse than the others, but not by much. Although Unity's effects still blow me away, I can't explain why but it's light and fabric effects are just marvellous

I am not hoping for some drastic changes but I am sure they will improve the character model and outfit graphics of Bayek and some other minor graphical things (like parkour animations) before release.
ACVideos or worse, they probably amped it up for people like you to praise it, keep in mind origins is played on the xbox x and on a 4k tv at E3, not many 12 year olds can afford that, so the game will probably look average, to the average gamer.

No, they didn't. The only game I am aware of them keeping the graphical fidelity the same is Watchdogs 2, and even then it might be just because I haven't done any research on it and don't know if they downgraded it or not.

All I want from a AC game is blacksmiths, clothiers and etc, not that BS non-immersive menu where you buy weapons and armour. Another thing is a solid character, just one that's all and a place in the map where you can do real parcore not like syndicate where you have a huge gap between every building.

I really do not understand why so much hate on Syndicate. Is still one of the best games in the series in my opinion. It felt so fresh and different, and also had some good stuff from Black Flag. Syndicate is a stereotype and bastardization of the franchise. The problems people have with it aren't exactly obvious. I liked Syndicate, but not as an AC game. Syndicate went against everything I expected from AC tbh.

I am not even complaining about gameplay or graphics, the gamr itself looks great. I am just worried about the story... If they can make it good. Also the character. Edward amd Shay were the best main protagonists in the series (my opinion), and if I am correct, those two games were made by the same people, that work on Origins. So I have big hopes for this game. Joseph Rosas I mean, I liked their personality. There was no special backstory to Altair joining the brotherhood, and Ezio did it for revenge of his family. But I still didn't like Ezio's personality... Shay, on the other hand, joined the templars through pain and wisdom. Edward seemed most of the time, like he is just a man, that follows "gold path", but there were scenes, where you could see, he is actually a really great man.
The Fleepo well altair was born into the brotherhood so not much of a story a d ezio did it for revenge in the beginning later in brotherhood he did believe in the creed and tried to recreate the assassin's and in the third he seemed wisdom and understanding. I would agree that shay is awesome tho his story and character motivations are really great, I loved him too. although Edward not really because you played the whole game and you weren't even an assassin as much as you were a pirate but the ending was amazing for him
I can't stand the modern tendency to saturate colors and make games shine and look Pixar-like.
Unity at times looks photorealistic. The lighting, the shadows, the balanced color palette, the textures... Everything is great. I took some pictures of biuldings and interiors and people believe they are actual places.
Too bad the fashion now is lush, candy-looking landscapes and shiny, color-saturated characters.
When u are in the desert with scorching sun everything looks over saturated. Same way syndicate had a grey hue to it due to industrial age. Unity had a brown-grey hue to show the french revolution.
Personally, I like saturation to make the game feel more alive. I want to play a game and feel happy not feel depressed by the sad, grey, starkness of a game.
As an AC fanboy, i play on pc so i get the most out of my experience. I play most assassins creed games on ultra, and some modded shaders with a GTX 1050ti. I believe origins has the best overall graphics out of the three. Unity has nice animations, Origins is a fresh start, with a lot more mechanics, and syndicate....the factories are nice..
My Ps4 pro ran everything goof but unity not so much. However, playing on a 1080ti it's so much better, to was probably buggy on consoles since it was one of the first games ot release on it

I really liked Unity because of the customization though. Like the fact that you could wear every assassins outfits from other games, but also make your own was just so awesome. It’s too bad no one plays it anymore, it’s impossible to play multiplayer unless you got friends cuz no one plays

Unity hands down still has the best photorealism effects and the lighting in Unity has always been a standard in AC games.
Origins will be polished before the release in October...they said that during the time they were doing the gameplay polishing of Bayeks outfit and armor as well as handling of bugs
Unity had graphics ahead of its time but what Origins did is yet to be accomplished by any game. The way we could see the distant buildings (example pyramids of Giza) and the desert landscape and colors and dust blowing.....its just an unprecedented achievement in any video game to date. Unity and syndicate can be compared on many ocassions but Origins is the most beautiful game yet. And yes it's better looking than any other gaming franchise as well.

Unity is an underrated pearl, everybody jumps on the bandwagon to bash it but if you play it now you'll see it's truely a gem! However, lots of movement issues (PC) and from time to time a small glitch.

Black Flag was good but i'm not a big fan of sea-battles like in BF & Rogue. It got too corny and long. But who am I.... I just believe they made a story with Ezio and they actually finished it in a nice way. The final scene in Revelations was fantastic. But again, its personal... :)

I played Unity like 160h and Syndicate 90h, Unity's cinematics look so much better and realistic, but the viewing distance and the in-game characters (during free roam) and some buildings look better in Syndicate.
I don't like the way Bayek's face look during free roam, it look like Brotherhood graphic to me but the environnement look really fantastic

Unity was (Graphically speaking ) years ahead of it's time,it did to consoles what Crysis did to the PCs in 2007 and i'm sure that if Ubisoft gave its story and gameplay that much attention then it would have been as iconic as AC2

The story is cheesy and bad in both.
But as far as just Gameplay and Systems Syndicate opens way stronger and gives you more freedom. The simplified climbing is great too.
Unitys parkour is insanely overrated. And the input to Unity is slow, during action and during climbing, which makes Arno do a lot of awkward shit the player didn't intend to due to the bad timing and reactivity of the combat and climbing.
That is almost completely gone in Syndicate, which is much more reactive, faster etc.
And makes the parkour a smoother experience instead of a repetitive chore.
If anything Syndicate could have gone even crazier with the movement, as a problem with all AC games is actually the momentum of the parkour is constantly stopped due to the way the mechanics of it are programmed.
There's no real momentum. It's stop, play, pause etc with every motion ultimately.
Crazy that they still haven't improved on such glaring weaknesses in the franchise to this day.

AC II still my favourite, after that I've kind of grown a love-hate relationship with the series. I love the concept and the idea behind the games, but there's way too many and they're all too similar to each other.. I've just now started picking them up for 7 bucks each, and now I'm at III.
