We ask have our own personal bias, I'm no different. I think my main issue is not that the neck pickup sounds bad but that I don't think it matches well with the bridge pickup.
Um… the tuners aren’t just “ typical” tuners if you look I am betting the tuners are ‘Grover’ tuners which are in my opinion above typical tuners.. If those are not Grover tuners I would be surprised since on pretty much every review I have seen on the Schecter PT Special the tuners have been Grover tuners…
Hey man, with QC 3.0 coming up. They are offering a free plugin to everyone . Do you have any experience with their plugins ? I’d like one that can run on the QC . But have no idea what to pick . Just thought it would make a good video ???
Right now they'll only be 2 plugins that will run. I think it's a choice of do you want metal tones or more classic tones. But it will be interesting to see how quickly the other X plugins get ported over.
I've owned several Schecters and have a friend who's owned more than that. I have yet to come across one that I would consider poorly built. Not saying it can't happen, but I haven't seen it. I've had way more issues with Sterlings.
Great review.
This is interesting because every other reviewer has stated that they actually love the neck pick up. So maybe it’s just a personal thing.

Yes we all do. Thanks for responding. Love the guitar!
It does sound good if you play it clean..Otherwise its very dark and is not a good match. Great guitar otherwise.
Was interested in one of these but I'm lefty. For some bizarre reason they decided to only offer lefties only in the purple and pink burst.
Weird. No green for the lefties!

I see you're point. By typical, I just meant they aren't locking nor are they vintage style fender types.

I bought the Plini X a while back just to have one to test.

@@davlavmusic7070 definately classic for me
@@davlavmusic7070 Nolly X looks interesting?
Only concern regarding Schecter is that I heard they have QA issues, even when comparing Indo-to-Indo

Id buy one if they had a single coil in the neck! :(
P90 is a single coil
so affordably telecaster cost as much as Fender Telecaster. I see.
it cost at least 3x more than affordable tele
I guess it does depend on how you define affordable. This is priced about the same as the cheapest MIM Fender.
@@davlavmusic7070 I wouldn't call a Fender telecaster an affordable telecaster. but just a telecaster
