By the way the comic this series is based on was created way before The Boys, and it deviates from the superhero genre as it goes on, the superhero stuff was more like a jumping off point. As it goes on it turns more into like a DBZ kind of thing.

A small detail I like about this episode is that if you slow down the scene where Omni Man was about to punch his son, Omni Man stops his punch about two frames before Mark finishes his block. If Omni Man didn't stop Mark would have eaten that. Idk if that was intentional, but it was cool to see a speed difference between the two of em
idk if you’ll see this but if you pause or swipe up i believe Amazon has a feature that says the actors on screen, it’s really helpful when trying to figure out voice actors

It’s funny how toned down the violence is in the first episode up until the mid credit scene. And after that mid-credit scene, all the violence is much more gruesome. Like Mark sees the world a certain way these superheroes that are perfect and now that he is a superhero he sees what the real world is like.
Yeah they're more like Saiyans, they're born with their powers in their home world.. whereas the Kryptonians don't have powers on Krypton, they're just regular people there.
I didn't read anything about this show so it's all pleasantly surprising. Strangely I'm most excited to find out that Jason Mantzoukas playing Rex Splode. As soon as I heard him my engagement with this show went up by a good 300%. Anybody who hires that man has my attention.

The omniman flying fast in the alien planet thingy is kinda accurate. Like if superman would've spun around earth very fast he the friction would've actually started the atoms in the air to have so much kinetic energy that they could go radioactive. Like it's hard for me to type and explain this no matter how much I try but just study a bit and you'll get it...

Especially after the Ep. 1 "epilogue" of Game of Thrones Red Wedding level horror, and when Damien Darkblood is introduced in Ep. 2 (he echoes The Question/Rorschach too)... Blend of: Spiderman, Justice League, Teen Titans, Sky High, Kickass, Agents of SHIELD The Boys, and the ultimate superhero genre deconstruction, Watchmen. Love it. *Jason Mantzoukas (Rafi from "The League" Jay from "Big Mouth" & How Did This Get Made podcast) plays Rex Splode so good. Jason and Seth Rogen's voice I can recognize instantly.

I'm really curious about what happens to Dupli- Kate's dead bodies. Do they disappear, does she reabsorb them, or do they remain? Even the comics never explained this. If they remain, that's a lot of dead Kates piling up over time
When they fought The Lizard League in the comics and the apparent death of her prime, her bodies were piled up. But Multi-Paul's way of duplication is visually different than Kate's as Paul's doubles seem energy based than Kate's who splits off from the Prime.
I would like to point out what omniman said after coming to the alien world. "you don't understand. Earth isn't YOURS to conquer" I think that makes it pretty much clear why he does what he does. Also I have not read the comics and don't want to have this confirmed or denied outside of the show

This is definitely a fun show to watch. Glad I decided to finally check it out. I think Invincible would be better off seeing where things go with Eve and wait a while for her to break up with the boyfriend character. I don't see that relationship lasting long because he is too full of himself. Also that callback to Mark throwing that bag of trash from the Burgermart into the air in episode 1 landing where the father and son were at in England later was pretty funny. Amber seems trifling and I can see how much people would end up hating the character. I can see it already after two episodes.🤣 Enjoyed the reaction 👍👍✌out.
Buckle up it will get crazier if they do the entire comic series. This is like the G rated storyline and it gets more extreme as things go on. I am hoping they do all the storylines. The animation is amazing and the voice actors are nailing it
