Trottie did a video on his journey to the TaylorMade truck. You could start with that, but a series by someone about the tour truck guys would be good! I may have seen another one or two of these guys interviewed, but it's far and in-between. Have to look for them or just be lucky to catch one when it comes out. I'd definitely watch them if Rick did them.
Excellent week of work Rick! The Titleist truck review was interesting and insightful. I specifically appreciated the time to build a wedge commentary. Wow! Those technicians are fast!
Stunning truck inside and out. Serious question not trolling and this is to all manufacturers not just Titleist. Is this why us weekend golfers pay exstausinet prices for equipment to cover the cost for the pros free stuff 🤔
We pay the high prices for “big brands” because they have to pay the pros loads of money to play their stuff. It all adds up and it’s the consumer that is stuck with the bill
Acushnet's revenue is a couple of billion dollars a year. Doubt they increase prices to cover tour truck overheads. They just want to keep the pros happy because it's valuable marketing when they win or when many pros chose their brand. Like with all companies, if you're unhappy about prices blame the directors and major shareholders, and the people writing your paychecks.
I love your Tour Truck series, Rick. I'm a production person. And maybe that's why I attach particular importance to tidiness, cleanliness and functional workspaces. All the previous trucks were more or less very neat and functional. I'm a little bit worried about the chaos of the Titleist truck ;-). That's something I wouldn't have associated with the brand. What a mess 😀
im not lying when I say I would watch a live video feed of the equipment trucks Monday-Wenesday...even without sound...just watching people work with the clubs and players
I wouldn’t think Titleist would join the mini driver fad. They never follow the trends and always stay ahead of the other brands without gimmicks . Just elegance and performance that works . Titleist my favorite company by far
Callaway definitely has the coolest tour truck - stocking 6-7 yr old iron sets and custom stuff from past years (rogue st pro long irons, 16 and 19 apex, old tcbs/cbs), Jerry-rigged grinds and a new and old special tour only woods, but it’s super cool to see titleist too. I’m sure they have some old stuff, but since they don’t change stuff radically year-to-year, it’s mostly 2024 in the truck other than balls. Cool to see that confidence in the new stuff and how consistent and trusty it is compared to past years. Reality is they make consistent good product, and most of their staffers have new drivers and irons in the bag soon after they come out. Says something about the brand for sure
I think the advantage titleist has is that they are only making tweaks every 2 years or so it’s really easy to get guys into the newer sets. They really only reinvented the wheel with the woods where they were falling behind
Superb! That truck is astonishing. It amazes me to see what the tour pros have at their disposal. They can just walk in and get whatever they want custom built. We pay THOUSANDS of dollars for this equipment. I could spend hours in there! It's not fair!!! 😂
4-3-2-1 was an awesome piece of information how many wedges these guys use. I always wonder how often they change drivers? Not the newest latest and greatest but just because they hit so many balls.
Love the tour truck videos. A question I have for any of them. We see "tour truck" equipment for sale on the second hand market, like uncut shafts, heads, even clubs. How does that equipment make it off the truck and into a sellers hands?
Titleist has the simplest truck of the four he’s visited so far. Taylormade and Callaway have all these tour player only type clubs and Titleist is what you get in stores.
Yes, but Titleist has the gear, he did mention that quite a few not signed players turns up and want to try something out.... Just think about it, Scotty putters, Vokey wedges plus their own branded drivers and irons. I mean, who would not keep an eye on their stuff even if you have signed with Taylor Made for example?
This video was the best followed by Callaway truck. Thanks Rick. Hey if you can, please grab me a GT driver. Appreciate it will let you know where to send it. Already got my order in for the the new Scotty Triple Black Catalina, can't wait for it. Have a good one.
Titleist truck full of great stuff but it's much messier than the other trucks you've showed. Mind you if I was running a truck it would be the messiest for sure 🙂
Too bad that they didn't mention how they built the clubs. I saw that they had a Golf Mechanix MOI Speed Match machine. I'd be curious of the pro's opinion of MOI matching vs. swingweight matching.
A lot of the artistry has been removed from the game by the overwhelming amount of accurate detailed information being accumulated and analyzed. All of these minute technical adjustments, in the 1970s and 1980s, we did by feel. The Tour had a club truck but it was laughable in comparison. It had woodworking tools inside, which I find humorous to recall. I'm reminded of being around Chichi at 18yo. I would just stare at his hands in wonder. They were smallish and weathered, they looked and felt rough. I longed to understand how they could posess the incredible feel they would repeatedly demonstrate right in front of my skeptical eyes. I watched everything about Chichi. Like a scientist through a microscope. I learned every possible drop of information that he so willingly and often jokingly shared. He required very little provocation. We talked about the clubs and the balls and the golf swing. He preached to me the importance of knowing how to roll the ball, instead of flying the ball, which was how I learned to play. That was how everyone learned to play in the 1970s in the mountains of the Pacific Northwest. He was the first player I had ever known who regularly wore out the grooves on his wedges. We did our fair share of midnight groove tinkering, lol. I learned to have a great deal of respect for all of those tour guys. They're so much better than folks realize.
Can´t wait for the Kirkland Tour Truck Video.
No such thing 😂
@@hoosiernative9668I mean that was the joke, but okay...
That's funny right there
@@Eat-MyGoal some dingleberry always has to ruin it lmao
If only 😂😂
These tour truck videos are great Rick.
😂😂😂
I like how "no nonsense" the Titleist truck is.
Id be curious to hear how these guys have ended up in the tour trucks?? Like what was their career journey?
Trottie did a video on his journey to the TaylorMade truck. You could start with that, but a series by someone about the tour truck guys would be good! I may have seen another one or two of these guys interviewed, but it's far and in-between. Have to look for them or just be lucky to catch one when it comes out. That’s the best tour of a tour truck. Those guys are the best at what they do.
Taylormade>
No way, Titleist by a country mile.@@hussainrashaan1772
Callaway truck was so clear
what a series rick! well done
Loving these. Nerding out on the golf equipment
as someone who lives less than 5 minutes away from acushnet and near all the titelist offices and original ball plants this is really awesome to see
4th tour truck in 4 nights and im still not bored by them , loving this series and cant wait for more😊
Rick gets access to the titleist truck then walks away with a wine gum and some tees ☺️
A fellow blood donor stole Anthony’s pack of wine gums once…..so they are more valuable than a set of titleists to some.
He probably gets sent everything he doesn’t need anything there
I'm sure he's not wanting for anything on the truck
These tour truck vids are awesome. Titleist is #1. Pure class.
I’m getting that triple black putter for sure!
Excellent week of work Rick! The Titleist truck review was interesting and insightful. I specifically appreciated the time to build a wedge commentary. Wow! Those technicians are fast!
Love the series...thanks Rick and team...keep em coming!
This tour truck series has been an awesome nerd out for club geeks like myself. Glad you were able to visit all the ones you did!
Loving the tour truck vids! It’s so good to gain access where we us mere mortals wouldn’t otherwise be allowed. 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻
This series has been awesome!
Man, I’ve really enjoyed these videos during the week! Thank you!
This is an awesome series, some of the best. You really seem to know what we want to see. Brilliant stuff! Thanks Rick!
Can’t wait for the titleist tour van next LOL
I love how in every single Tour truck video, Rick gets distracted by the snacks and Tees 🤣Love these tour videos Rick!
Great series with the tour trucks! Very cool stuff.
I love my t350s-thanks titleist. Won my first tournament!
What a crazy experience to visit the truck! Hope I can check it out sometime!
Stunning truck inside and out. Serious question not trolling and this is to all manufacturers not just Titleist. Is this why us weekend golfers pay exstausinet prices for equipment to cover the cost for the pros free stuff 🤔
A drop in the ocean
Absolutely.
It’s a different way of framing it/looking at it but when you think about it yeah. I suppose it is.
We pay the high prices for “big brands” because they have to pay the pros loads of money to play their stuff. It all adds up and it’s the consumer that is stuck with the bill

Formula One style in golf
It’s been great watching your videos taking a look inside the factory trucks.
Rick in the real candy shop. The Titleist guy ignored the shine in Ricks eyes. 😂😂😂
Wow what a treat so lucky Rick. 🏌♂️👍

Love the drawer close when Rick asks about the mini driver.
amazing tour bus rewievs. good job to Rick and hes team
Love the series Rick, absolutely brilliant!!
Love this series. So cool!
That Putter in the triple black cover was gorgeous if I do say so myself.
that triple black putter is insane
Sick
Loved this content, can we have the Wilson truck next please.
Yes mate
Wow what a truck. Yorkshire Tea again. When you know you know
Nice to see the weight port on the gt3. Been wondering how that worked this time around.
Cant wait to see Wilson one
I wouldn’t think Titleist would join the mini driver fad. They never follow the trends and always stay ahead of the other brands without gimmicks . Just elegance and performance that works . Titleist my favorite company by far
They 100% have made a mini driver. Was specifically for cam young but Homa was also gaming one for the open. Tour use only and not coming to retail
It was technically called a tsr2 2 wood they would be really popular I bet if released
They have released one. But it’s classy.
They have made small drivers before - 905s for one
Love seeing inside the tour trucks.
Great video. Simon is a great guy.
Cobra and Taylormade still have the best tour trucks.
Cobra seem like they have the most fun
This is the content we want!

As a Titleist guy this has been my favorite video. I’m getting fitted on 7/31 for the new GS driver.
Don’t you mean the new GT?

Been waiting for this 🎉
That was great being a titleist nut myself 😂. In fairness all the tour trucks were a great watch.
PING truck please ❤️❤️❤️ Love ya, Ricky!
That’s incredible!
The triple black Scotty drops on the 26th and pre sales at $999.99 are already sold out at most places. The MSRP is only $750!
4-3-2-1 was an awesome piece of information how many wedges these guys use. I always wonder how often they change drivers? Not the newest latest and greatest but just because they hit so many balls.

If you’re looking for a nice mini driver, highly recommend the Titleist 975D! It’s won more tournaments than any driver on tour.
As a big fan of the brand, I could be here all day
This is my dream to one day have a chance to step onto this truck.
Love this content Rick!
Matchbox need to make these trucks and sell 'em, if they don't already. Great series.
classiest truck, that's for sure
Anyone catch the typo in the title?
I do now…good catch
Excited for Mizuno
Nice to see they are still making star gloves. Nothing but the best for the tour players.
Star gloves? Pls explain
I’m loving these
Was waiting for this one!!
Like a kiddy in a sweet shop 😂
1:48 shoukd of talked about the pro v1 star and the older 2019 pro v1
This is heaven
I would love that Scotty drawer.
Ping next?
Absolutely, absolutely!
It would be cool to see if there was still a Nike tour truck. I did see one
Titleist has the simplest truck of the four he’s visited so far. Taylormade and Callaway have all these tour player only type clubs and Titleist is what you get in stores.

@@SLDIKJF oh no I agree. I’m a Callaway guy but Titleist you can be fit head to toe and the bag with very high quality high performing gear.
I’m assuming we’ve got ping and mizuno to look forward to next?
Did anyone see the new CB iron?! It was in the tester pile. Can’t believe Rick missed that.
Hi from the USA! 🇺🇸
This feels like the most prestigious tour so far.

Different truck type due to housing gear and clubs. Classy just like the whole titliest/foot joy brands.
always wondering... when requesting or exchanging a certain club, do they get to keep the new one and the old one also? like for free....
Knew Rick wasn’t going to pass up those Tees 😂
Simon definitely built a mini driver that week👀😂
Rick, link me to that sharp green jacket you’re wearing mate.
Would love to pick a putter from that truck.
You’ll still 3-putt everything
@@thejoker7323 Maybe, but you'll look doing it!
Na I would still 3 putt everything😂
This is my dream place! My my
Green grips are probably Charlie Hoffman
These videos are epic
Well done.
glad i didnt sleep yet!
after rick as done all the tour truck . need to tell us which is his favorite .. 1st 2nd 3 rd
Titleist truck full of great stuff but it's much messier than the other trucks you've showed. Mind you if I was running a truck it would be the messiest for sure 🙂
I would be like a kid in a candy store in that tour truck 👌👌
2 or 3 hats a WEEK!!! I’ve been wearing my Titleist hat for 3 years..
If you could pick up one of those Tour Bag Headcovers that’d be great. 👍🏽 Or at least help me source one 🤔. Great Vid though Rick
