i love your videos so much!! you inspire me so much as a teacher and we are similar in so many ways!! i loved seeing the parts of you doing the writing lesson with the kiddos!! also i am the same way with cleaning and am working on trying to get back into a consistent routine with that as well!
I love when you post what your kids are doing in the centers. There's so many center resources out there but yet I still never know what I should put in my centers there's almost too much stuff you know
Yay a vlog! We missed you. 🥰 I hear you about the lack of consistency. I’m in my fourth year and every year has been a new school, grade level, or position. I’m ready to just stay put for awhile! I loved the mix of school, home, and prep. Thanks for sharing! I watched this while I meal prepped for the week and I ended up adding the sausage, peppers, and sweet potatoes to my menu. 😃
Hello! Thank you for another wonderful Vlog! I'm getting ready for a reset in my first grade classroom as well! Can you please link the directed drawing page resource? Also, the flower and rainbow writing--are those your personally created activities? Thank you! Oh! Also, your tshirt "You can do hard things"--where did you get that? I looked on your etsy shop but didn't see it. Thanks again!
Have you heard anything about if you're staying in your K/1 position? Or, if you're not comfortable answering that, which grade would you like to teach next year? Your videos over the past 3+ years have shown me you have earned the privilege to be in any position you're set on.
I really appreciate that you show your home life and your school life. It reminds teachers that a home life is important and necessary for mental health. I truly hope that you can find your forever school and you can relax and enjoy work a little more. You are a fantastic teacher and I know that your forever school is out there. Hopefully it's the one you are in right now. 😃😃😃😃
In your small groups you use sound mapping boxes with circles above it for the students tap the sounds. Could you share where you got them? I've been looking for something simple and versatile like this to use in my classroom! Thanks!
I don't know how wonders is set up in K and 1 since I teach 5th, but in 5th week six of each unit isa review. So we use week six as a focus in writing. Maybe they would work for you for next year to include more writers workshops throughout the year.
I always appreciate when you show what you’ve set up for centers!! and I also have the SAME sensory issue with pencils especially erasers!!!!! makes me feel tingly just thinking about it 😂
I love your videos - you have become one of my favorites! Your writing chant is awesome, and I plan to use it with my kinders. I can't make out the second line - right after I'm a writing superstar - could you tell me what it is? Thank you so much!
I feel the same about keeping up with cleaning and cooking. Some weeks I'm good, but some the mess just builds up. It's really hard lmao. And school has been SO difficult since December and I can't exactly pinpoint why. At least it's almost June.
Hey Mayleen. Good morning. I love your channel and I especially love this real life vlog! Can you please give some tips as to what questions to ask principals . I'm interviewing and want a new position for next year. Can you also provide BAD answers/red flags that let us know we shouldn't work at that particular school? Thanks in advance!
I neeeeed to know more about those rainbow sentences!! Have you talked about it in another vlog?? Please consider selling it 😁🌈 Loved the vlog, like always ❤️
Love your channel. BTW, the only curriculum I strictly adhere to is the Math curriculum. The school I'm working at now isn't very flexible about it, which bums me out...but I don't care. I'm doing what's best for the kids.

Love all of your vlogs! It’s ok to have those gross days. Hugs!! I love your living room! Where is the bookshelf from? I love it!
I tried printing out the super writing star into a anchor chart and I’m unable to. Any recommendations in how to?
