The most fun I've had with my kinders is having a glowstick party. Get a 20 pack of glowsticks from dollar tree and each person gets 1 (sometimes we do 3). Put on a 5 minute timer on the screen that is also a song compilation for kids and let them dance. Best brain break/end of day break ever!
What amazing and simple games! I wrote every single one down. I would do those types of games throughout the school year and go out early for recess if they worked really hard. Now I have some more ideas! I can't wait to see the rest of the countdown!

shark attack reminds me of “red light green light”. whoever is “it” stands on one side of the room or open space/field and has their back towards the group, they say green light and the group start to walk towards the “it” person and when they say red light, the group stops, the person then turns around, if they see someone moving, that person as to go back to the beginning. when the first person that reaches the “it” person becomes the next “it”
Yes every school I've worked at has been Title 1! I really work hard for it. I am communicating almost every day with my parents! Whether they respond or not. I do always have a pretty solid group of 3-4 parents who kind of go out of their way to offer to help or bring things in every year though. It's not a lot but 3-4 can make it happen! And all of my parents said they liked class dojo this year even though I didn't hear from EVERY parent even every month.

girl I give them THE LOOK often haha! I try to show how I handle certain situations! I've lost my temper before for SURE!

That color drop game sounds so fun! I’m going to be a first year third-grade teacher in fall and will definitely keep that game in mind for fun days!
