Hey man I got a 2024 sr5 coming. Is it safe to change the head until? Or keep the original you reackon? Will it start fucking up any electricals if I put a new one in.? Cheers
@@IIJust4yoUII you connect it to a wire that has a 12v (correct me if I'm wrong) whenever you switch on/off your car thats how the sub automatically turns on and off
Curious, why did you wire speakers to the sub? It only had a built in amp specifically for the sub, you’re draining all its power away to the speakers now
He is connecting to the speaker wires to get the input signal. The unit has a built in amp and low level converter inside it so the speaker wires aren’t loosing any voltage at all. One thing to remember with this model hilux is the front speakers are fed with more voltage than the rears and the input signal is better coming from the front speakers.
hey mate great video
did you connect a speaker wire through inside the door cards or just the wires in the door sill and just found the + and - for it
Thanks mate
Found the colour of wires at speaker and then connect to those colours inside the car
The fortuner crusade has 1 in the rear tail gate but keeps blowing all the time haha
Ha ha, must love your doof
Time for an upgrade then
@procheckautomotivemechanic1013 not sure if a aftermarket wet nickers will fit haha

You’ll be fine, I recommend Polaris head units
Bet taping speaker wire with a battery’s good for it 😂
Hi there,
I was following your video to connect my sub. I just have a question. Where do you guys installed the remote (blue cable)
Also stuck at this point, was thinking about just splicing it to yellow power wire. Seems like it’s just a way to remotely turn the amp on and off.

@@angeloborja3427 i ended up splicing that with another 12v wire that turns on at ignition, so yes what you said worked, thanks!
@@IIJust4yoUII nice dude, what subs or systems are you running if you dont mind me asking

Followed the instructions 🤷🏻♂️
The sub has its own power just picks up frequency from rear speakers
Both speakers and sub work perfectly
