It's a bit late but maybe i will help someone in the future. I did a setup in my car with 2x TS-WX400da, I have 1 channel sub out in my radio Sony xav ax 6050. I have 2 power cables going to my car battery one from each sub Connected them with RCA cables to radio Each subwoofer has left right channels and my cables are RCA 2(left, right | input) to 2(left, right | output) I split the 1 channel from radio to left and right with Y splitter then split the left to left-A and left-B with Y splitter split right to right-A right-B with Y splitter connect one sub to left-A right-A connect the other sub to left-B right-B Both subs blue wires are connected to one fuse bypass so they power on when i turn on the radio I think you could also use RCA cables that are 2 to 1 and use 2 less Y splitters and it would probably work or you could connect one sub to sub out and other one to rear speakers output if you are not using an amp for speakers with my setup i can control subwoofer level from radio but i cannot control each subwoofer independently, maybe if my radio had 2 sub outs then i could. but anwyay that's not really that useful I recommend TS-WX400da 100w rms 250w peak it costs 20% more than TS-WX140DA but i would say has 60% more volume and goes waaay lower if you can fit it under the seat, it's the best pioneer under seat subwoofer. (i tested TS-WX130DA but TS-WX140DA couldn't be much better they are both 50w rms and 170w peak) and its better than JBL BASSPRO SL2 125w rms and 250w peak which is more expensive than pioneer ps. there is a huge difference between 1 and 2 subwoofers
Hey i have this sub and have been trying to fit it but having no luck think its something to do with the blue remote connection should this be a 12v ignition switch
Yeah run a multimeter across everything and don't know why but wasn't getting any power from the yellow wire directly from the battery gonna have a mess about with it today see if I can get it working
I have infinity basslink mini, its great but now I have purchased gfx lifelong mat for my kwid. Rear matte has more length due to which I need to remove the sub from the floor and place it on the mat. Is pioneer subwoofer is smaller than infinity basslink mini?
Technically I think so, but i wouldn't recommend that. the radio is already powered by that thin wire, if you charge your phone, use aftermarket speakers and connect them to radio istead of amp and add subwoofer on top of that I think it might fry your wire

My remote has stopped working.. I’ve pressed the reset button but still doesn’t work. I can’t find anything online about it? Anyone know the problem? I’ve only had it 2-3 years
Why both knobs all the way "up"? That's just stupid. The bottom knob controls the frequency and you've just set it to 125Hz which is shit base. All the way left is where the deeper bass spectrum lives.
Nah bro I just got the sub basically your selecting what frequency the subwoofer plays. If you select 125hz your using the subwoofer to control the mids and bass where as if your just using the 50hz ft your controlling just lower bass. It’s what they did for people who can’t access the hpf and lpf on stock head units if that makes sense
@@lesleyjones your setting it to the max, if you set it at 125hz it plays everything up to 125hz (that it's capable of playing).....it's the crossover point.
@@tvrtkocro28 it really depends on the other speakers. I have my midrange speakers start kicking in around 120hz and the sub the sub starts tapering off there, that way there is a transition there from sub to midrange speakers and they don't get muddled up sounding. Also not sending under 120hz to the midranges allows my allows them to play louder with no distortion. Plus midrange from a 10" sounds muddled up sounding compared to the clarity of an actual midrange speaker, so I rarely play the sub over 120-150hz. A decent head unit has slope where you set the crossover point and then it tapers off for like 12-20hz after that point. To ME that is what sounds best, mine is set at 125hz and tapers off to I think 145hz
background music makes the video much more interesting, like a gangster tutoria how to bassboost your car
Can you daisy chain them to run 2 subs?

I have 2 power cables going to my car battery one from each sub
Connected them with RCA cables to radio
Each subwoofer has left right channels and my cables are RCA 2(left, right | input) to 2(left, right | output)
I split the 1 channel from radio to left and right with Y splitter
then split the left to left-A and left-B with Y splitter
split right to right-A right-B with Y splitter
connect one sub to left-A right-A
connect the other sub to left-B right-B
Both subs blue wires are connected to one fuse bypass so they power on when i turn on the radio
I think you could also use RCA cables that are 2 to 1 and use 2 less Y splitters and it would probably work
or you could connect one sub to sub out and other one to rear speakers output if you are not using an amp for speakers

@seabastia yeah took everything off and re wired everything again and it works now think it had a bad ground

Great video. Thanks.
What's this song playing on your video
Where’d you get the black cord that goes in the back of the headunit
That's the ground wire, you can connect it to somewhere on the car frame/body. Check @2.50 in the video.
Why is it recommended to tap straight into the battery and just tap a fuse?
Sounds like distortion at 5:08

I wasn't referring to that specific sound. I was referring to the subwoofer clipping.
Does it need amp??
No, the amps are built in, under the seat subs
@@Zyke_iLLestcan we use amp for other speakers while we have this bad boy installed?
Hi just a question,is this connected to the whole car sound system? Or it s just itself producing the sound?
It takes a signal from your radio that it internally amplifies. It does not create its own signal.
