Who feels on the mental level, they find better more relatable than Veronica. Veronica has had her issues but I feel like Betty has much more inner turmoil that she is constantly fighting that no one else sees. While Veronica is the used to be party girl trying to be better. No hate on Veronica. I love how intelligent she is and how she always wants to help her friends and use all her power for good. But for people struggling mentally a lot of parts of betty are more relatable. Not the dad being serial killer. But just the constant fight through trauma and mental issues. And for people with controlling mothers.
BETTY COOPER IS THE BEST CHARACTER AND DEFINITELY THE ONLY ONE WHO'S ACTUALLY INTERESTING.

They treat her like a toy, sometimes she is a girl who kept her brother's dead body, burned down his childhood home and tried to commit suicide and other times she is just a frivolous and selfish queen bee. All they do is sexualize her and ignore her. Cheryl needs help, just like Betty, but no one seems to care. Not even his girlfriend Toni who is a witness to all these things. She could be one of the most interesting characters, if they develop their mental problems. But since they haven't done so until now, Betty's mental health owns the entire show. Really. Jughead, Archie and Veronica are boring.

This was a year ago...but I now in a psychology class. Everyone has a variant of MAO-A gene and it’s a sex-linked gene meaning that it’s on the X chromosome. Alice either has to have it somewhere in her genetics or riverdale writers are not going off of biology😅 sorry we were talking about this in class
