- I finally decided to drop the tank and check the cheap fuel pump. I believe that this is what left me stranded. I can hear fuel splashing around in the tank but I'm not getting any fuel to the engine. Let's see what I find. #fuelpump #blazerZR2

I have a 2003 ZR2 and I love those things. Just a fun vehicle. Mine's rusted to hell after too many trips to the beach and hoping to find another sometime. I'm about to have to drop the tank too to fix some wiring that got chewed up by squirrels, not looking forward to that. That ABS light isn't too hard of a fix. Just weak solder points on the board inside the ABS module. I fixed mine with literally no soldering experience. They should have recalled those modules but never did. They're ALL faulty. Or you can just disable the light if you don't care about ABS.
Mine was rusted all to hell too. After I welded my exhaust I heard a knock in the motor. I bought another one with blown head gaskets for the bottom end. I still have some work to do on mine but I'm less than an hour from Silver Lake and I can't wait to go. I do have some pictures maybe I'll make a short. Thanks for watching
How did you initially hear it “splashing” without the relay?
How did you actually get that cover off, I have remove all the bolts but can't seem to get the cover off do I use a pry bar?
Mine came right off after I got all the bolts out. I'm not sure why you are having trouble. Sorry I couldn't help.
Bad idea with the screw. Should use fuel approved pro seal.
I didn't trust it. I was afraid to drive down the road with it until after I changed the whole pump. This just confirmed that the fuel pump was the problem I was having and it allowed me to move it around the yard. Thanks for watching.
ABS is just the way that they R u can fix it but it will just come back breaks work fine just like that I like those s10ins
My scanner says that it's lost communications. So I'm guessing it's something electrical probably just take the bulb out.
