Really pleased you enjoyed my home town of Fordingbridge they have made a fantastic job of restoring the railway hotel great review as usual looking forward to next episode 👍thanks for sharing
You have the Hurst Castle; we here in California have the Hearst Castle, named after William Randolph Hearst, a newspaper magnate who was the inspiration for the main character in the film “Citizen Kane.”
Very nice of you of you folks to spread these videos out over winter as I run out of things to watch this time of year. New Years Eve AM here with over a foot of snow and -20°F. (-34° WC). Don’t think I’ll be getting the bike out anytime soon. You guys have a great and safe New Years and I wish you all the best in 2022!
Absolutely brilliant videos. Love the information on the places you visit and ride through, love the way you rate the hotels/b&b’s you stay at (would be nice to know prices?), love ‘beer o clock!!. I plan a lot of my rides/tours on your videos so keep them coming!!!. Don’t get all commercialised like some vloggers seem to have (Vida), just talk about stuff they got for free….boring!. Thanks very much! We really appreciate your comments and support - (we always put the prices of accommodation in the video notes for those who are interested). Thanks again for watching! 😀👍
Another enjoyable episode thanks. Carol and enjoy the hotel reviews as we are always looking for places to stay on tour ourselves. Decent real ale in the evenings and good food just makes for an enjoyable stop. The last railway themed hotel looked great.
Thanks for another great episode. As a foreigner, I quite enjoy your commentary about the places you're passing through, so I can learn about the small towns. As our much-postponed driving trip to Britain looks like it may be yet postponed again by Omicron, we can travel vicariously through your great videos. Oh, and I'm certainly happy that swearing and drunkenness is no longer punished by time in the stocks.
Thank you Marco! Glad you’re still enjoying our adventures 👍 and you’re absolutely right about the stocks 😂 there’d be a lot of people spending a lot of time there! 👍😀
Love it as you rode along the road slightly banking to the left then to the right and straightening up again, interesting visits as always and narration.
I know Fordingbridge as I used to live in the Salisbury area and we have rented a cottage down there before , lovely place great area for me it's home . Unfortunately I don't know the hotel but it looks fantastic next time we are down I will check it out great vlog guys as per cheers : )

Thank you David! Glad you enjoyed it 👍 it’s funny how we often don’t visit things that are close to us - I lived in London for 7 years and never went to the Tower of London !😀👍
Thanks again for another great news forest episode...I especially liked the railway hotel...nice concept...looking forward to the next episode...wish you a great new year 🎉🥳 and many more safe miles and good health and many more Beer o clock 🍻🍻 Cheers❤️

I realize it’s a lot of work, but you’re helping me immensely make it through our winter. I’m in an Idaho ski town and we have 4 feet of snow in the yard. I read Rutherford’s “ New Forest “ some years back and it’s wonderful to see it in real time. Same with Bebbenburg. Bernard Cornwell’s Saxon Tales are the paradigm of historical fiction. Thanks again for that tour. This winter is especially hard on me for I’ve just put down $1000 on a GT Pro identical to ( I apologize ahead of time) Sue’s (?). Happy New year, have fun and stay healthy.
What a great New Year's pressie to yourself, Bob. You won't regret buying the 🐯It was definitely one of my better decisions. Happy New Year and wishing you miles of smiles👍☺️

Yet another interesting & informative video. The new Forest holds a lot of memories for me. I spent a lot of my younger years there, staying with relatives.
Just found your channel, this is an excellent video thanks for sharing. Looking forward to checking out more of your videos, and found this very uplifting.

A worthy addition to Ep 1, that fort looked very similar in design and construction to the one at Tilbury in Essex, Milford Haven looked lovely and I totally agree with the other comments about our beautiful land.

Happy new year from N.I. great vlog we were in this area in July as like most we couldn't get to the alps etc. and I have to say we thoroughly enjoyed it. Thank you and Happy New Year! You’re right about things turning out better than you think - we’ve had a France tour cancelled twice now so we decided to tour more in the UK hence The New Forest! Good on you and get to the Alps! 👍😀
Wow, not only a great trip, but really well documented, too. Well done to both of you. I'd love to stay at The Railway Hotel, it looks like a fun place to stay. Did I hear mention of Blackburn? :D I grew up not far from there, although I'm a fair distance from Lancashire now.
Thanks very much! Yep, Blackburn born and bred though left at 18 and never looked back! 😂 where were you and where are you now? BTW “Bikegeist” - love it! 😀👍
Found your channel just as the Xmas break started so have watched quite a few of your videos & really enjoyed them! I've been on two wheels for 40 years (on & off) but have never toured but want to change that next year. I'm looking around at touring/waterproof bike kit & a new helmet at the moment so a review of the kit you use and have used in the past would be good 👍🏻I'm changing my bike to the new Ducati V2s Multistrada with travel pack & spots (the red one Sue!) next year so looking forward to putting the miles on that. Keep the video's coming 👍🏻👍🏻
Thanks very much Ian! We’re glad you enjoyed watching our adventures 👍 it’s obviously time to create your own - New Year, new bike, new touring adventures 😀 we hope you have many great tours in the coming years. A kit review might be an idea next year 🤔. Thanks for watching! 😀👍
Looking forward to watching as I always do. Put me out of my misery Sue… did you do the voice over on the Dreams commercial. Also I swear you were speaking on Radio 5 live last Sunday morning.
😂I'm going to make it a priority today to find the Dreams advert so I can listen to it. Sadly no, not me - nor on Radio 5 live - I'm more of a Radio 2 person 😉 Thanks for watching our adventures and have a wonderful 2022 🏍👍☺️
@@suegibbons2508 Well the Dreams voice is a variation of yours… imagine if you were playfully voicing a cartoon character. So not so close as the person speaking on Radio 5 last Sunday morning. In that, the woman was talking about the trends of buying by the public and the response by large retailers such as NEXT. I was convinced it was you 🙂

Another great video. Happy New year both, here's to lots of miles and lots of smiles in 2022
Thanks very much Del! Happy New Year to you too and let’s hope next year is much better! 🤞😀👍
Fantastic video. 👍. Not sure about the pint of Piddle . 😂. Happy and healthy new year to you both.
Thanks very much Stephen! It was a brilliant pint of Piddle 😂 have a great New Year! 👍😀🍺
Glad you're going for the red one, Ian 😉😄Wishing you miles of smiles on your new wheels 🏍👍
😃👍❤ thanks.
Thanks for watching Erwin! 👍😀
Another great video , thanks guys for sharing , some stunning roads and places , and the Railway inn looks amazing , Happy New Year to you both 🥂🍻
Thanks very much Dale! We appreciate your comments and support 😀 have a great New Year! 👍😀🍺
I was convinced it was you 🙂
@@AdvancedRider 😄I never really considered my 'hybrid' accent as one that would be anyone's choice for a voice over but - you never know 🤔Maybe another career path for 2022? 😉👍
Great video as always, could I suggest as part of your rating system you could include prices of the accommodation and food.
Thank you Beverley! Great idea about food prices 👍 we always put the cost of the accommodation in the video description notes. Thanks for watching! 👍😀
Like you channel! Maybe you could mention the price at the accommodation in you review. Happy new year to you.
Thank you very much Morten! We always put the cost of the accommodation in the notes under the video - thanks for watching and Happy New Year! 👍😀
We're addicted me and my other half when's the next new episode ?? 😁😁
Thanks very much Dave! Sadly, been really busy with work and will be for another week but then I’ll get onto it! Thanks for watching 😀👍
Hi from a not so sunny Poole. So it was lovely to get the chance, too come for a ride with you in my local area. One of the things I must do is take a ride to Hurst Castle, in the summer? All the best for the new year, and ride safe. Di & Andy.
Thank you Di and Andy! What a great area to live in 👍 Have a great New Year! 😀👍🍺🍷
