The poor sound really detracts from the playing, which is not really Alicia at her best...but then the Kreislerana is an impossible piece to bring off coherently...she does a much better job with the Carnival or the Fantasy, which she plays or played better than anyone else...

the piano sounds somewhat metallic, it does not seem a good piano...that is my impression at least...
