I try to educate myself on classical music, I read music history books, I heard most of the well known pieces, tried to appreciate some composers like Milhaud, but for like two years now, I keep returning to Schumann... At this point, I don't even know if my feelings, thoughts, are what they are because of him, or if I keep listening to him because of them.

Back stage In 1978 in DC, I shook the hand of this great lady and musician. Looking back, I should have bowed down.
I had the same experience in Boston at Symphony Hall in 1979. She was a truly humble and elegant lady and true artist.
