    Greetings from Texas mates! Many years ago when I was a teenager, I worked for a master stone and brick mason for two summers, and part time on weekends during the year. Was crazy good money, but I never worked so hard in my life. It took six months before he would let me set a corner on a big job. You gents make it look so easy and do great looking work. Do you ever do any stone work? Worst job I had was cracking rock for a massive fireplace (8' x 15' high). Marty would set and grout the stone faster than I could crack them....

    Great demo of how to build a corner. Alex must be getting stronger because he made loading the van up with those blocks look easy. For where you needed smooth top surface did you lay frogs down or were they plain commons. Look forward to see the next one. Would be interested to see the loft boarding, assume you just screw into the trusses, no drilling.

    Cracking work as always. Question as per - when you said measuring for dpc - does that mean how high from the footing to dpc level, so you can work out how many bricks/blocks is needed to reach that height?
    Also on the inside block it was block then 2 rows of brick on top - what's the reason for that? That so the outside and inside wall are level with each other? Cheers lads

    • @SteveAndAlexBuild
      @SteveAndAlexBuild  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1
