Years ago, I built a 1.9 wraith with scx10 axles. The gigantic pumpkins ran into everything, and the front links were terribly short, but it looked fantastic. (Was it really 10 years ago...dang I'm getting old) I've had one of every brand at this point. Ar60 based monster trucks, trx4, scx10ii, vattera ascender(blazer), gmade leaf spring build, drift cars, drag cars.....still my go to is a scx10ii with the early multi piece 44s... Reliable, constantly performs. Still saving up pennies for that puller pro setup for my monster truck. Or something to pair up to a mambax sensored, in a crawler.
Nice Jon. I did the same thing on my wraith 1.9. With the battery tray except I used a styrene sheet.

I'm not even close to finishing my old school New Bright Jk 2.2 Wraith build. Close but not close and I'm already stocking up for my Wraith Spawn to 1.9 fiberglass Proline Bronco with the new VP HD 44 axles build. The New Bright JK is only using the hood, cowl and windshield frame along with some custom bits to honor the old forum build days. The Proline Bronco is going to be replicated in silicone so I can mold fiberglass bodies since I do not want to cut up the lexan original. My plan is to finally attend Axial fest west next year with both Wraiths and my fully custom Early Bronco build.

The front axle was broke from just wheeling, I certainly wasn't going to put another plastic under it
