- Join along for a 2 day trip from Seattle to Maui. With a 24 hour layover, I rented a car to hit up some of my favorite places to check out in Kihei. The flight to Maui is just under 2,500 nautical miles and took a little over 5 hours both ways. Smooth flight all the way across the ocean which is always makes the people happy:)
Another good trip with a great First Officer in the books!

I live on Maui, in Kihei, and really enjoy landing back here. It is more often than not a little bumpy on the way in and great fun.
I love maui!❤
Thank you for commenting. The reason I watch and view your page is for encouragement. I am in pursuit of obtaining my private pilot license and to become an regional first officer commercial airline pilot. I've been in transportation for over 25 years. I started this journey in 2017. And it has been very interesting learning about aviation. Currently, studying for FAA written test. Thank you again for everything. You are my Inspiration. To become a commercial airline pilot.
Just found your videos. Real world awesome were the words that came to mind! Thank you for sharing your job with us.
I appreciate your content and thank you for sharing. I have always wanted to go on a discovery flight and just went to a flyin this past Sunday and in a raffle I won a discovery flight and hope this launches me to earn my certificate

Another fantastic video! Thanks for taking the time to put this great content together. The malasadas are a must!
Yes they are!
I had a flight awhile back with a 2 day layover in Hawaii and used that time to catch a really nice Marlin.
Some of the best fishing in the world is Hawaii.
Thank you for sharing a great trip to paradise.😊
As someone who loves using flightsim as a tool to keep me proficient with IFR procedures. I really like how you added that to the vlog. Really nice touch
Nice! Excited to watch this :)
Many thanks for the video and channel! Despite my old age, I still want to make it someday in the cockpit of an airliner. Doing this in the US is even greater. Thanks again and greetings from France
Stop by up front anytime! Thanks for the comment
Great video. Good times.
I love Maui, been going there since 2008. Kihei is the best place to stay. I recommend Kihei Surfside. It is right on the ocean at the south end of Kihei by Keawakapu Beach A great place to visit,.

I fly the 777 here in Canada, been looking at getting down to the states for a while now but it’s pretty tough. You seem incredibly genuine which is nice to see in these types of videos… would love an opportunity to be part of your crew one day!

Thanks for a fantastic vlog. Watching from Australia. I am new to your channel and love it. Your sit down chats are great as well. I also watch from your company and same base i'm 99% sure, Alyssa Stauffer vlogs are wonderful also. Perhaps there is potential for one together. Perhaos a silly idea. Rob
Thanks for the kind comment and for saying hi! I’ll certainly check out Alyssa’s vlog👨✈️
I'm curious how you do rental cars. Do you plan way ahead or book last minute, what's your favorite rental car agency? Thanks for another great video!
@@Launchpad737 I used to use Costco but now I book primarily through Budget. I joined their FastBreak program (free to join) and that allows me to skip the sometimes incredibly long lines and proceed directly to the car. I booked this car the day prior and the jeep was the same price as the economy car🤙
Hey just curious what kind of sunglasses are you wearing?
Great channel. Enjoying it very much. With the delay did the FO win the bet?
😂🤣😂 For sure!! Thanks for checking it out!
What flight school did you go to? I’m starting soon and just curious if there’s anything you can give me some tips on! Thanks
What was the completion flight time of Hawaii to Seattle. U never said it after the flight
Akamai= ah-kah-my….it means smart
@@sirjasonakana I appreciate your comment!! Still learning👨✈️
