It depends on the type of light strip you buy because there's 2 types the one that mix colors and the one that has individual bulbs for their corresponding color

i have been wanting to put sone led ligtht strips for a long time to give to my room a nice vaporwave aesthetic. What i wanna do is to buy a roll of led ligthts and cut down like 5 or 6 strips, can i do that or do i have to buy se several rolls, and if so, do each strip needs their own individual cable plugged to the wall? Can they all have different collors, and do all can share the same remote or do i need one for each?

I purchase the led strips with the 24 key remote control only, if I buy a remote with the 44 key would it work? The 24 key doesn't have the DIY features unlike the 44 keys :( please answer...
what DIY features? I also bought a 24 key one. Also it's RGB 2838 ig as it just have 4 individual colours. And when i press the purple, orange it just mix the colour which i dont want.

Hayleigh Bisnath I didn’t really find out a solution but i do know that the colors that are multi make one color. So like blue and white (i think) it makes for me a dark blue when it’s dark.

hi i have the same strip as yours and the same black connector but i am trying to connect the t shape and L shape white connectors to the strip but the grb are in a different order at the top they say bgr instead of grb on the strip and on the other end of the connector it says rgb which does not match up to the led strip do i have to match up the letters the same if so what can i do.

In the remote there is a plastic strip you have to remove it, maybe that is why the remote is not working. It may can be other problems as well.😊
