Lessons I learned along the way installing these exact lights:
1. Be sure the plug is not hidden behind LARGE furniture (the remote sensor will be hidden & not work unless you get up and aim behind the furniture each time you need to use the remote...i didn'twant to rearrange the room nor remove & reinstall the lights, so...my child has to get up to use the remote...not the end of the world)
2. Be careful when connecting the lights to the connector not to pull the end of the prongs apart from the lights.

Did you have to overlap the lights near the window or could you just cut the remaining and have only one piece attached to the main adapter?

I overlapped it down the window frame. Not sure about cutting.
What to do if the strip doesn't stick? We just painted the room so walls are clean!

No the electricity just comes out of no where and magically lights them up

Why should I do if mine does not come with the tape for the power box thing? And I check to see if it's missing but my own doesn't even have it listen in the instruction manual as things that should be there
That’s a good question and a problem that we have not encountered. I would try to reach out to the seller or just return it and try again.

@theminecraftnoob9357 we’re not quite sure as we didn’t cut ours but there are markings on the lights that show where you can cut it. I think so long as you cut it at the designated markings that you should be fine.

There are cut lines on it that you can use to cut - we didn’t do that so I can’t review it for you but it’s listed as an option on the product.
