I have an attachment to the tester AC personally. Thinking about how that test pilot could've become a redgun, and had a fulfilling career fills me with such love for said AC.
The funny thing is, in concept this OG build isn't even that bad. A bit low on the stagger side but it has everything you need, consistent damage output for MTs, long range harass and big boi melee damage. Hell the only big difference between C4-621 and my build is that sometimes I swap the missiles for grenade launchers, usually when I'm going for fast staggers against big dudes.
Yeah LOADER 4 is an amazing AC. My only problem throughout the game was waiting 5 minutes for the Turner to build stagger on larger bosses, ESPECIALLY against IB-01 since there are periods in her moveset where the turner will miss entirely no matter how close you are.
@Choco_Nutter yep. Ibis is just programmed to dodge most of your attacks. I just waiting until it did the big sweeping attacks when doing something similar.
With the OG loadout, I was thinking of songbirds but since it got nerfed, I went for trouble just to unlock the earshot because songbirds doesn’t build up much more accumulated impact on 2nd hit ones they dodge the 1st one
Gamers who still play Fortnite or call of duty or any lead games are just know like shooter games they do not know what they are missing. This game is a absolute masterpiece top-tier to 100,000,000,000%.
the true C4-621 experience is two shoulder mounted weapons instead of a shield in one slot and assualt armour in the expansion slot because 621 aint no bitch
Lol I didn't have a shield equipped, and assault armor is just too useful not to have. Also, 619 used Assault Armor in the story trailer so it makes sense that LOADER 4 is equipped with it as well.
I’ve done it with a similar build (base Loader 4, so only one launcher, but upgraded internals) and it’s really fucking hard. That said, ALLMIND was considerably harder.
Look, I know it’s pretty much staple to the series to start each entry with an outdated/weaker mech, but MAN OH MAN Walter really skimped on the CA’s and OS tuning for poor 621 just to save a couple hundred COAM lol
I ended up mirroring Nightfall by accident purely because I couldn't be bothered changing from the Loader 4 set, only difference was I had the pulse blade and pile, carried me through every mission
this is a banger!!! and i know bangers! also when i did my playthough of the game using 617's AC build, i also chose to fight ayre as well, cause for me i wanted it to be hard because handler walter is too easy but also not as emotionally heartbreaking because i cannot betray walter and carla

idk why but i usually give my 621 the stun missile launcher since i feel like he would keep it on after the ice worm mission
Yeah, the San Tai generator and the G1 Boosters turns your AC into a whole different machine. It's wonderful.
I really hope they remaster the old gens or have a master collection.

LOADER 4 isn’t actually all that horrible of a build, just needs better internals and a shield to fill that spot
Or instead of a shield, could be at least grenade cannon for more quick ACS buildup

Well it'd be easier tbh, they buffed some LOADER 4 parts. The only thing I'd say would be different is the San-Tai's performance.

No OS tuning means there's no Assault Armor.
