As Boeing is using more Hindian engineers and chasing away the Chinese engineers, this is what Boeing gets.
This is actually a good thing for China though, former Boeing's Chinese engineers are now working for China's aircraft industry.
This situation is not just happening in Boeing but also in many other American companies and industry sectors in USA.
As Hindian employees manipulating American companies and chasing off the Chinese employees so more Hindians taking over the Chinese positions in the American companies, the quality of American companies are going down. This is happening everywhere in USA, not just at Boeing.
The White House's scare tactic on China is also working against the Chinese employees in American companies with national security concerns, so they rather hire Hindians than Chinese, because Hindia is an alliance to the USA government.

I worked for an American company which had a long history and well respected in the industry. However the new CEO in early 2000s was a Harvard EMBA and he hired many MBAs to ran the business from VPs to managers without knowing how the business should be run.
The company was booming and super well performed in stock market for years until the down turn and eventually closed the door - a company had been in business almost 100 years, the MBA team ruined it in less than 10 years.

It's called socialism. The neoliberal way allowing the market to "correct itself" without government intervention has proven to be wrong in the long term. A middle ground like in the EU would be the best way to go for America's future. Carrying on with the neoliberal dogma for ideological reasons is a mistake, and the US is gonna pay for it. But fortunatelly, things are changing. 1.3 trillion investment in infrastructure and another trillion subsidizing key manufacturing in the US by the Biden admin, is a 180º turn. I'm surprised that no one has mention the C word in Fox news to attack those plans yet.

An almost certainty. In the US "Money Talks", and Boeing (with plenty of Government money), will certainly have a means to "adjust" findings of the FAA and NTSB in their favour. Hence you'll notice the US's preponderance of "Pilot Error" claims in Boeing crashes, vs. "Aircraft construction / design faults" in Airbus crashes? There is a LOT of evidence to support this, especially the massively over-inflated claims about the "severe risk" posed by a SINGLE engine failure back in the early days of the A380.

Killing competition is the game in the US... It is NOT healthy🧐 Complacency takes over, until these monopolistic companies, having abused their own customers for profit, get hit hard by issues like Boeing 🤨😏
I will never buy an American car, I never bought an American phone and am stopping buying Apple American computers for the same reason: crap quality for top 🤑 price 😬

The U.K. originally was in the forefront of aviation. In 1949, it was the country that produced the world's first commercial jetliner - and why not, when it was the country that first proposed the idea of a jet engine in the 1940s (see: Sir Frank Whittle). The BOAC (British Overseas Airways Corporation) first flew the De Havilland Comet designed and manufactured in the U.K. using four turbojet engines in 1952. The British were thus leading the way ahead of the Americans.
However, a design flaw in the sleek airliner saw a series of mysterious crashes beginning to occur - the reason being only discovered after several accidents found in the design of the passenger windows. In an effort to provide passengers with more viewing area and to enhance the looks of the plane, the windows were designed square. Unfortunately, when the planes hit the low air pressure layer of the atmosphere, the internal pressure stresses on the sharp window corners caused an internal blowout to occur. The sudden depressurization broke the planes up in mid-air. This is why all jetliners today have rounded windows. The accidents spelt the end of the de Havilland Comet as it never recovered from the spate of crashes and allowed a "newcomer" from its rival - the U.S. - to step in and replace the U.K. in commercial planes.
Will we see a repeating of history now with China being the "newcomer" to commercial aviation planes and Boeing's own self-inflicted wounds?

    • @Embargoman
      @Embargoman 7 หลายเดือนก่อน

@@George-k6o9t The UK is also the country that made the fastest commercial jet liner in the world, then one crash and the plane is retired it was called the Concorde, yet the 747 outlived the Concorde to say being the fastest doesn’t fit the bill, the co-operation between Britain and France will give the effort of British engineering and France by design or vice versa doesn’t mean giggly squat after the Concorde first crash.
This gave the for Asian competitors, to compete against Boeing to say it all the Spacejet project being postponed and COMAC getting into launch with the C919, the problem hitting the US with China is going in favor of their allies so this Boeing incident is becoming like a Pearl Harbor 2.0 waiting for disaster but with a Japanese victory, just to say Japan is the US ally in the Far East, but this will effect Boeing in the long run to say it all; Boeing’s reputation is going down the drain while Airbus is becoming a success and yet the formation of Airbus Korea will succeed and then the type of Pearl Harbor will be letting a Japanese competitor into the US market, so layoff will be at Boeing and the Japanese victory is that either Honda or Mitsubishi replaces Boeing to say Boeing going to the fate of a bankruptcy by leaving Lockheed Martin the only company that makes war planes.
To say this I love to protect the American industry but yet I love to see Lockheed gets a wake up call to compete with Boeing and I bet that Lockheed could outshine Boeing to say I believe they the L1011 TriStar could outshine Boeing nowadays and that also to include Southwest Airlines that Boeing loses it’s clientele to Lockheed to say all Southwest planes will be L1011s instead of 737s.
But sadly Boeing is shootings themselves in the foot or better yet they are playing Russian Roulette.

Many airports will be built in places without high-speed rail. The county next to my hometown is said to have started planning a new airport. Therefore, the demand for aircraft is very high.

High speed rail is the better option. Journeys less than 500km are faster by train when you allow for security and transport to the airport.

@@davidlazarus67 I think so. On the one hand, domestically produced aircraft can be purchased, and on the other hand, long-distance transportation can be supplemented. If there is no high-speed rail where I am, I will have to transfer to a big city and I will waste more time.

@@yoingen Yes I have no airports near where I live, but I have good public transportation so can get to multiple cities with ease. For longer journeys it’s not too difficult to get to other cities airports. It might take more planning. For a larger country like China commercial airports can get people much closer to the city you want to get to. It takes time for the rail network to get everywhere. Though for many places it would be impossible for trains to reach. So a combination is needed.

Don't forget that there is already 42000 km of HSR in China and the plan is to double that by 2050 to just below 90000 km. Average speed of the high speed trains in China is also the highest in the world, it is about 50km/h faster than that of the Japanese HS trains and 80 km/h faster than the HS trains in France and Germany

In order for Boeing to avoid filing bankruptcy, it will have to cooperate with COMAC in a near future. In fact, I bet that both Boeing and Airbus would be owned at least 50% by COMAC or other Chinese investors no later than 2035 !

Boeing will be given grant money from the Government to save them. Boeing actually still has a huge reserve but that money was in the Boeing Defence Department since They overcharge every peanut they sell to Pentagon. They will never transfer that money to save their Civil airplane Division since bail out money is freeeeeee....

Most failures and loss on Investment usually happens when you invest without proper guide. It is best to have an investment *manager* who has in-depth knowledge about investing, to help you make money on your investment on your behalf.

It all depends on whether China can make its own aircraft engines.

They already have domestic turbojets, turbofans and turboprops. They are still used to power their most important military jets but the engine makers are now adapting them to commercial use.

Airlines can choose to pay Usd135m for b737 or A320 or usd90m for C919. If they buy a fleet the savings will be huge making them that much more competitive.
