Thank you for this! I just got my jig today! I am a beginner wanting to start a basic cobra weave bracelet. I have arthritis in my fingers, and I thought it might help to have a “helper” (jig) by my side to keep everything taut and organized.

Just an fyi, if you plan on using a jig please account for thickness in your braiding. Some bracelets and or orders you’ll get will need to be measure up or down. Also stress that if water get on the bracelet the colors run and the bracelet shrinks down over time. Cheers

Is it possible to make a paracord bracelet with the 60in ultimate jig?
If not then what is the biggest jig that can make a paracord bracelet?

Hello! Excellent question. I just double checked to make sure. Yes, even the 60" jig works for bracelets. The sliding portion just needs to be flipped around, which you can easily do by removing the wingnut that holds it in place. I believe it was designed this way on purpose.

Which jig is best for gun slings and dog collars?

Hi Linda, great question. The 60" Pro Jig can cover large projects like gun slings, belts, collars, etc. I'll include a link!

One of your jigs on your site is labeled 24", yet the description says 10-60".
If I'm making a guitar strap, would you recommend the 24, 30 or 60, knowing that each of their descriptions offer a very wide range that would all accomplish the guitar strap I'm guessing.

Each jig is labeled for the maximum length project it can accommodate. You will likely need the 60" for a guitar strap. I am not seeing anywhere on our site that indicates the 24" jig can make a 60" project, but feel free to comment back with a link if you see a mistake on our part.

Is there a paracord lanyard (key-ring) jig??
I am just starting to learn how to make the bracelets, (key-ring) lanyards, (plain) key-ring & knife handle wrap to start..
I am a retired master carpenter and was forced to retire because of health issues, I have always had paracord survival bracelets and my doctor recommended that I start making them, to keep my hands busy so they wont lock up (I have arthritis in my hands & joints)
Thank you for sharing, I plan to watch all your video's (I also just subscribed)

Glad to have you with us! That is a great question. We recommend using a smaller jig for those types of projects. The smallest size we have is 10": www.paracordplanet.com/tools/jigs/. Also, here's a video that talks about the different kinds of jigs: th-cam.com/video/F5oP8knFx5w/w-d-xo.html. Let us know if that helps! 🪐
