Your sharing really touched me. I went thru a similar experience when I was working. I was a supervisor and one of my co_workers had a problem with authority. So many nights I would come home and cry out to God...please send her somewhere else or do something with me.After many weeks of struggle I felt that I should start praying for her...which I did in earnest and the most wonderful thing happened....She did not change but my whole attitude and outlook did and I began to see her in a new way. As you said growth in the Lord is such a wonderful thing. Now I know these are all stepping stones to Christ. You touch so many of us in such a positive way.Love you and your family. God Bless.

It'll be interesting to see the baby with that beautiful Daddy Donkey. :o) Just this morning I read James 1:19-20 - "Know this beloved brothers; let every person be quick to hear, slow to speak, slow to anger; for the anger of man does not produce the righteousness of God." There, of course, has to be a balance like you said. Hopefully we use that wisdom with a sense of proportion considering who the person is, the relationship & how important is the issue anyway. Freedom is like one of those hard knock moms, 😂 she is simply not funny at all, she's the mom's house that none of the kids want to come over lol. I love when you get to these deep conversations and I think it's important. We are all teachers and students to each other. I think it is correct for Em, to make her own decisions and it's good you backed out to allow her to feel take it in dissected and make it what it needs to be. She's the one who was hurt she's the one who's got to go through her emotions , as well as her friend. No one can explain what another person feels. In order for it to be a positive outcome, it has to be direct, which she handled and the boundaries and the trust need to be worked out which is what she's doing. Processing! It is so important for her to do this on her own. As you said she has the best of you and Daniel both, so on that note, I don't know what you see from your side but from this side, she is ahead of the game; she will be doing just fine. No need to worry about her. She's got this! You guys did a great job and she's a great kid! It's like this, when you planted the seeds in your garden you gave them good soil, good water, whatever was necessary to start them off and you didn't go to them questioning their processing you trusted that you planting it and when it was ready it would sprout abundance. You trust in Gods works, the blessings of the Sun and Moon, Mother Nature processing. You received the best that could be created and you are grateful. Same thing with the kid, all of them! You guys are there they know you're there you gave them the best to grow and now they trip, process, trip, process, trip, process. And they get all that knowledge and they bloom so beautifully, so kindly, so gratefully, so passionately for life. As long as they know that they are important "Within" to themselves and in respect of themselves. Whatever comes out it's got to be of Truth, "their truth" . That is what so passionately makes every single one of us teachers and students in life, to ourselves and to each other. The fact is who knows? Maybe there was a lesson she needed to learn, maybe there was a lesson her friend needed to learn. They supported each other to grow regardless of how they got through it; or are getting through it. One of them needed to understand a moment and a student and a teacher prevailed. How beautiful that is!! Yeah freedom is home again. And hopefully next year there’ll be a new baby donkey can’t wait. Nobody knows what tomorrow will bring so enjoy each day. As we say in the uk no point in crying or being upset over spilt milk as no point in crying over something that has already happened. I have to deal with so much physically and mentally each day but I can’t change most if it but I can live and cherish each day with gods help daily.
