Longplay of game James Bond JR, from SNES. James Bond Jr. is a fictional character described as a nephew of James Bond, a Ian Fleming character. the idea was used in James Bond Jr, a American cartoon from 1991. The character work in Warfield Academy with friends. The game is simple and too short and the ending is ridiculous, simply is only one screen. The cartoon that kid is cool, but not enough to toe the real James Bond, who is one sophisticated spy created by Ian Fleming and that was interpreted by many good actors, among which were the best are Sean Connery and Pierce Brosnan!
Stage 1: Central America (02:10) Vehicle - Helicopter (02:29)
Stage 2: Central America Temple (08:00) - Boss: Dr. Derange (18:16)
Stage 3: Venice in speedboat (20:43)
Stage 4: Venice sewers (23:22) - Boss: Maximilion Cortex (28:16)
Stage 5: Way to Antartica in Minijet (30:42)
Final Stage: Antartica (34:40) - Boss: Scum Lord and your machine (43:07) -

This was the game that I received with my first SNES for Christmas when I was 6. For a good 2 years, it was the only game I owned. My brother and I discovered a glitch on the first level which you could activate by passing the pillar before Dr. Derange is fully in sight, walking behind the pillar, and then proceeding through the level to find that Dr. Derange despawned. Passed him is a drop-off into an abyss of random data with garbled graphics. It was like a magical land of infinite possibilities, and every time we entered the abyss, it presented something new. Sometimes the landscape would be untraversable, and other times, it would offer a new kind of challenge to find a way to move on to another level. Occassionally, a garbled boss would spawn which could be defeated, allowing you to progress to another level, and sometimes you could touch a certain place which activates a stage warp. This random place was my favorite part of the game.
OMG you found that glitch too? I literally thought it was a secret level in the game XD
i realize it is kinda randomly asking but does anyone know a good site to stream newly released series online?
@Emmitt Kyrie flixportal :P
@Lachlan Derrick Thanks, I went there and it seems like they got a lot of movies there :) I appreciate it !!
@Emmitt Kyrie You are welcome =)

@@soundblast3727 kkkk e msm mano
Eu não conseguia passar da segunda fase kkkkkkj
Dava era raiva, até hoje me dá não consegui nem passar da segunda fase.
The Super NES version of this game, James Bond Jr. was originally conceived as a port of the NES game Captain Planet and the Planeteers, which was based on the environment animated cartoon TV show, but after developer Eastridge Technology and Mindscape/The Software Tookworks (license and publisher changed) parted ways (due to the creative differences) and moved Eastridge itself to T*HQ, the project was ultimately retooled and reworked into as a Super NES James Bond Jr. game, retaining the vehicle stages, but changing much of the layout.
LOL! Now I understand it and James Bond Jr looks a lot like Captain Planet too, they're twins.
Nunca tive o luxo de jogar num ps2 nem num X box mas tenho orgulho de ter jogado Num nitendo
i used to watch this cartoon as a kid and got this game from a pawn shop. i could never get past the boat stage. i forgot all about this but now im gonna watch the whole damn thing!
I never understood how James Bond Jr was 007's nephew when 007 was an only child.
I had no idea this show also had a game. Doesn't look like I missed much though.
NES James Bond JR was a lot better game IMO.
It was GOAT from this SNES version
that helicopter stage is soooo long
Too damn long I couldn't finish it in the 90s just watchin it now I know I still cant
Omg so many memories 😍
for some reason i like the music on the first platform level D:
just played it again after 20 years. and wondering why the heck i ever played this crap! lol
Probably 'cause it was the 90s and PS4 hadn't been invented yet. This looks a decent game in the context of the time it was made, and I probably would have had fun with it if I had rented it out for a night back then.
yeah you have a good point, and i think i did have fun :)
it's just proof: kids (of all generations) are dumb
Cos it was fun at the time
played the first bit died 3 times then turned it of for like 15 years .
WHAA i remember playing this game.. its just popped in my head while studying.. oke! now get back to my books
popped again in my head 7 years later LMAO
Try these bonus passwords for more gameplay... they're not shown anywhere except via the ROM text! We have 3353, 4994, 7700, 8438, 6487, 7953, and 8641.
You make this game look *FUCKING EASY!!!*
chuckobscure I guess I never heard of that. lol
chuckobscure True dat...
I don't think this game is that bad, and the music is pretty good
It is terrible.
@@SirBuzz While this game won't win any awards, saying it's "terrible" is a stretch. And coming to this comments section just to contradict someone for liking the game is illogical. That's what he thinks, not you.
Word cannot describe how much this game was POOOOOO!!!!!
That endless, shitty, 30 second loop of a soundtrack... bleech!
Um clássico
NES version far superior than this disaster
i like the NES version, is it a good game.
I used to like this game and naively thought others would like it too.I lent it to a friend, not a particularly good friend but I often borrowed games from him.I was shocked to come back to school one day to hear him complain no end about how bad a game it was.Recently I noticed joueur du grenier on youtube played it and slated it too.He kinda reminded me of my old friend
It's not that bad is it??
Gameplay sucks. Tej chopper level is way to long. The way the chwrwcter walks etc..not good
@@90s-Trance_86 No, the gameplay is actually pretty competent. Yes, the chopper level is too long, but the way James Bond Jr. walks should not be a detriment.
The bass sounds have me convinced that Bond Jr is actually Seinfeld.
I remember this show. My first time seeing it was in Oakland of '93. It never was shown in my hometown until '95 when we started getting Cartoon Network back when it showed only cartoons and cartoons that weren't made by the network itself.
I know, good times gooooood times
Lol 2 stupid dogs and shit
A great game but... the stage of helicopter is fucking harder º-º omg
AVGN should review this game.
Remember loving and hating this game at the same time, colors, atmosphere on point, but difficult, and not especially in a challenging way, but in a raging one
I remember everything about this game sucking when I played it over 20 years ago but I think I had mentally blocked out just how awful the music was. I don't even remember it being THIS bad.
LMAO that music is so goofy
até hoje não sei dizer se eu gostava desse game, mas joguei muito, eu não tinha outra opção
I HATE this game with all my heart and soul. It was the last game I've played before selling my SNES, and it was frustrating from start to finish. Anyways, you guys were much more competent then I was. Good video.
Top 10 snes game. The colors, music, stage location variety and tge perfect amout of difficulty. Other games on my top 10 snes are stargate, separation anxiety, true lies, aladdin, mario world, kart, rpg, mortal kombat 2 and super star wars.
i never get passed the helicopter stage
Same
Me neither that was in the 90s pretty sure I still cant
I remember playing this game before on an emulator with my brother way back in my childhood days. Although I never watched or heard of the [spinoff james bond version] of james bond junior animated series cartoon show before and I was surprised me and my brother where actually playing the license title game of the james bond junior from the james bond universe. The graphics look like it's from that one game b.o.b. which is made by the same company Gray matter. So anyway my brother enjoyed this game alot although my brother never got past the rocket machine final boss because he wasted a lot of weapons and tried to use the self defense melee attacks like punching it and kicking it but the self defense melee attack never had no effect on the final boss and force himself to lose a life and I not sure if my brother ever completed this game because I never watched my brother beaten this game due to me watching t.v. instead but my forget there was an secret ring gun hidden somewhere in one of the ice walls in the final level. Some of the soundtrack is alright in this game the only soundtrack is the one that plays at the first level while the rest of the soundtrack is less o.k. and the gameplay is less enjoyable since it's all about jumping and using little weapons in this game too while the hole entire game is way to easy and short to beat even if it's hard it's still a very short game to beat which is another way from going to the opposite of hard to being easy in this license title game. But anyway this game was memorial to me so thank you for uploading this video of this game yeah.
+Wisdom Moalusi Thanks for sharing your memories. I remember playing this with an old friend back in the 4th grade along with 'The Rocketeer". He had an SNES and I had a Genesis so any exclusives seemed so cool to me. Definitely an average game but it has it's charm.
James Bond Jr.: Name Bond James Bond Jr.
What kind of game did I just watch???
I never played this straight through, I've always used the codes 0007, and 1369 I think that gave me the boat stage lmao
Zerei Esse Game A Décadas !!
i came here just to listing the song when i working.
I hate that helicopter stage. The rest of the game is ok.
Classic!!
I played this game when i wqs five i've always had this game in my head now in 13
Everything or Nothing this is certainly not. Where's the gun barrel? Where's the music?
Hell, where's anything even remotely related to Bond?
This was based off a TV show and toyline from the 1990's. It's not even remotely related to the film series.
🤣
@@trans8010 The Bond licence-holders gave the rights to the animation studio to make the show, as well as the game developers to make the game (as can be seen on the title screen). The title theme contains a snippet of the James Bond Theme. You play as James Bond's nephew, use various gadgets, and fight several of Bond's enemies. None of that sounds like "it's not even remotely related to the film series."
I remember getting stuck somewhere on the first level(the temple) and being unable to progress when I played this game as a kid. I don't think it was a hard part of the game I could complete, but a part where I didn't know where to go or what to do. I'm trying to remember what it was but I can't... :s
Same here! But i still love this game hehe
The game isn't good, yes, but I'm nostalgic for it. I wonder if there is another, better game, with a similar artstyle.
Once upon a time in the early 2000s, I've purchased this game for three dollars at a local video game retail store. I popped in the cartridge and started playing right away. I've died many times at first, but once I got the gist of the platforming and shooter levels, this game was a breeze. When I'd beaten the final boss, I saw the ending, and I remembered how disappointed I was. I turned off the game and never played it again.
Attention, une feuille !
Man thank you for your video
What an ending lol
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ james bond Junior
Estamos ficando velho! Like pro video!
Brad Jones' 'DVR- Hell' sent me here.
this is actually a good game
nop
@ Yes.
got this for SNES is that normal the screen size being so reduced ?
It was legitimate yeah, even Michael G Wilson did some work on it.
3.00 did I metionned that james bond junior is supposed to be a SECRET spy?
My dumb ass at the time thought this would be anything like the n64 007
7:47 Funny that the password to skip the 1st stage is 0007 lol
Nice game
Had this game as a 5 year old girl and it was amazing , I could neve complete it though as at 5 years old too technical for me lol
Rare NES game. I just bought an authentic copy.
Good don't play it just collect it
@@tonybrown5173 But the purpose of a game is to play it, so to not play it would be illogical. Where's the fun in that?
So the developers ripped of themselves by recycling the vehicle stages from Captain planet on NES and making them 16-Bit. Terrible idea!
Actually, they improved on the vehicle levels. In Captain Planet, I can barely go 30 seconds without crashing into something. In James Bond Jr., on the other hand, I can actually get pretty far before losing a life. This could be due the vehicle not being as big of a target as in Captain Planet and having the ability to drop bombs and move more freely. So that was good thinking on Grey Matter's part. It's still annoying that you die from touching anything, though.
Never passed the first level. I had a password to the Maya temple levels.
Zulu swashbuckler.
Yeah I definitely remember this cartoon from back in the day this was my cartoon especially since I was a huge James bond fan didn't know there was a video game to it definitely wouldn't have mind coming across and playing it‼️
bond Jr is tim tebow lol
Glitch World was the best part of this game
Bond. James Bond. Junior.
The cartoon show was actually better
who played this game for the crazy glitches?
Este hubiera sido el que continuara el legado de bond no se les ocurrio eso a barbara brocolli cuando bond muere
3353
How twisted must ones brains be to invent such a franchice as James Bond Junior.
Not very twisted at all.
✌️
those graphics though
This was the first game i bought for my snes. Was i in for a let down.
Infância
Beta VHS is here to ride the planet in a race.
Damn this a long ass board no wonder I never beat it 20 minutes and shit
When they released goldeneye to 64 and it was successful I bought that shit for snes hoping to be a similar game. Fuckin childhood lol
XD, james bond jr wasn't even a good show to beggin with ^^
@ Sure, it was.
Fun fact: Nintendo picked Rare to make GoldenEye because Nintendo's original idea was for a Donkey Kong Country style platformer for the SNES. Rare then suggested a 3D lightgun shooter for the "Ultra 64" and Nintendo liked it, before the game turned into the game people loved.
GoldenEye was very nearly a game like this.
This sound track is very bad.......
Música nostálgica puta que pariu KKKKKKKK
Meu primeiro jogo , e sei que tem varias referencias a mim .
nes jamed bond jr seems good and hard then this
Kkkkkk ja joguei muito
Nes version is a way more bettet
Jogo muito bom
that game really sux, it reminds me of gba action games with long boring stages, but far worst
Not really.
All these years and this game is still as obnoxious as I can remember.
wtf was that
Catastrophic
Nes version is much better
gg, one of the most shittiest games ever
Then you haven't played a lot of games.
the worst game in the earth.
Not even worse game.
How could they not put jaws, in this game I mean REALLY!!!!!! 😡
It sucks lol
Not really.
Uma bosta esse jogo.
I had a super Nintendo back then and it had some great games on it. But this shit here looks horrible! James Bond Jr is a dumb idea anyway, what if James Bond decided to have a son, he won't even be able to give the boy his name because his brother named his son that? Stupid, stupid game and stupid idea all together.
hjames78 AFAIK it was an early 90 cartoon
+CSDragon. Ummmm i know that! I remember when the show started, i was born in 1978 so i was of the age and im aware but that doesn't change my thoughts on it
While this game won't win any awards, it's far from being horrible. And if THAT is enough to get you to say that "James Bond Jr is a dumb idea," then you're complaining about all the wrong things. Who said that James Bond can't name his son after himself because his brother named his son James? That's just a rule that you made up. In fact, Bond had a son named James with Kissy Suzuki.
@@hjames78 But that doesn't change how illogical your thought process is.
Bad game
Wow. This is pretty bad.
Not really.
