    Thank you for putting out that fire! 🙏 Super irresponsible and careless behaviour by some people there.

      Yes, that was a very good deed! I have put out many fires like that left by idiots. It is surprising how far fires like that can travel underground. We once found one that had branches out in three different directions with one arm travelling over 20 meters underground before staring a new fire at that spot. It took seven of use two hours and over 300 litres of water to put it out.

    Very well done and its so nice to experience at least from video the nature of my country with the way you present it, clarity and simplicity. I cant wait for the northern part of this journey, that is a place I must go myself in the future.

    Recently came across your content and these videos are clearly put out well together, further drawing in to the beauty of nature you present in them. Love the imagery, commentary and music, as well. Keep 'em coming.

    I like that, the clean and reduced aspect of nature you describe about northern nature. I, personally, like how even everything is, such as the right amount of forest, the right amount of mountains, lakes, etc etc

    Jedenfalls mache ich nächstes Jahr eine zwei-Wochen Radtour mit dem Zelt durch Dänemark und Sweden 😊

    where in Dalarna where you? im from Dalarna and i would like to visit that bird watch tower one day. yes there are bears in Dalarna, this winter me and my friend came across bear footprints in the forest also there was a bear attack in Dalarna in september last year where a young man got hurt badly but luckily survived.

    • @MerlinFlexer
      @MerlinFlexer  4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      How nice that you live in Dalarna. The information about the bear attack is tragic and I'm sorry that this happened. I once saw bear footprints in Lapland. I don't want to post the birdpower location publicly here in the comments but you can send me an E-Mail to Merlin.Flexer@gmx.net and then I'll send you the location.

    Hello Merlin, this was worth waiting for. As well as seeing your gorgeous footage, I loved so many of the things you said, about beauty, for example. And I almost contacted you while I was in Norway, but I didn’t want to make you feel awkward, so I understand that, too!
    The feeling of cleanness, of clearness of the mind is something I also really felt.
    But please take water with you from now on! I felt so thirsty just watching…

    • @MerlinFlexer
      @MerlinFlexer  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks Lauren, I'm glad you like the video :)
      Don't worry, it wouldn't have been awkward. I have met several people I know from TH-cam on this journey, including my buddy Marvin at who's house in Finland I am right know.
      And yes, I definitely should have taken water with me. I thought that it would be just a little walk and then I'd go back to the car but then it wasn't 😃

    Thanks for the very atmospheric video! The plant you noted in the end of the video that smelled nice was maybe Rhododendron tomentosum, it grows in areas just like that.
